Reactors who ACTUALLY do some research on the group before listening to the music? You got a like from this ARMY :) 10/10 for this reaction. You had lyric analysis and breakdown. That's lacking from so many reactors that I'd mostly stopped watching them. It was interesting hearing both your thoughts especially for such a deep song.
If you’re wanting to see their vocal abilities then I Highly recommend watching BTS Tiny Desk Concert and BTS Festa room live for raw unfiltered vocals! These guys are the real deal!
Tiny Desk is incredible, but BTS Festa Room Live shows the wide variety of their music better: ua-cam.com/video/RRhjdYsNwAk/v-deo.html. This would be a great second reaction!
This is one of the best first time reactions I've seen. It's so nice that you researched a little, and you had some really insightful and interesting comments on the song. I'd also recommend the Tiny Desk Concert if you want to hear vocals. They are phenomenal live and a lot of times their live vocals are better than the album.
@@JaredandJordan just a quick reminder to turn on English subtitles for songs 2 and 3 for the BTS tiny desk concert. Looking forward to seeing your reaction.
@@JaredandJordan Besides their songs & MVs, you got dance practices, LIVE performances, teaser/trailer videos, etc...lots of contents from them and what I've listed is just the tip of an iceberg. There's so many layers to BTS....sooo many. 💜
As a 65 year old who's idolized the Beatles, Hendrix, Bowie, Queen and Prince, I can honestly say no other group of artists have moved me more than BTS. Not only are they brilliant performers but their humbleness and kindness, and their ability to emotionally connect with their fans is like no other I've ever experienced. Thank you for your thoughtful and respectful review; your voices are very soothing, too. 💜 PS, Seeing Black Swan live is a revelation!! 💜
This is my first time watching you guys and i loved it. I would totally follow you down the BTS rabbit hole lol. I think you will enjoy the ride. All these suggestions are sooo good. I would like to add danger, no more dream, and not today. If you like the slower Spring Day is amazing and has a very deep meaning (there is an explanation video). Also if you want to hear clear vocals they do a cover of Coldplays Fix You and it's unbelievable.
15:34 WOW, I'm impressed, it's the first time I've seen anyone, fan or non-fan, who watches Black Swan for the first time and notices that, that the voices are so unidentifiable IT'S PART OF THE MEANING OF THE SONG, that the autotune is on purpose to make it sound like a only voice.. well, I always see some criticizing the excess of autotune and missing this detail, for us armys, we know that BTS never does anything without reason, every little detail of their work has a reason, they are extreme perfectionists, you can be sure , are you guys going the right way by looking deeply into our details since the beginning of the journey, I hope you watch Fake love next time! Also a very deep song about self love and looking for that love
We know they have the pipes - so autotune is an artistic choice. But tell that to the haters! (Lol "pipes" autocorrected to "puppies". They have those, too.😋)
Their voices weren't unidentifiable for me tho. I mean for new armys it might be but one who knows their voices clearly, they can tell the difference. I can at least. The only voices that were almost the same imo was suga n jhopes (I'm talking about black swan particularly) but I can tell who is who just by looking at their hands so I prolly don't count🥴🤣
@@susmita9891 same I was just thinking that. I can tell them all apart pretty clearly even suga and j-hope but I get the point of what they're saying. Unless your listening really closely and instead your just listening to the song as is, you can tell that the autotune is distorting their voices so much so that the uniqueness of each of their voices isn't coming through as much. It's not like it's completely disappeared and meshed into each other but at the same time it's clear they were trying to sing and add these effects to make it seem as though all their voices could he heard at the same time almost (if that makes any sense😅😁).
The use of autotune was very deliberate in this piece. It’s intended to push the timbre of their individual voices closer together because they’re essentially playing a single character ‘the artist’, who is grappling with their ‘shadow’, the demon of doubt about whether they are losing their love of their art. This comes from the Martha Graham quote “A dancer dies twice… once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the more painful”. Black Swan is part of a suite of songs exploring Jung’s psychological ideas of the Self, the ‘Map of the Soul’, although the roots of this are deep in their discography, certainly since the Wings era in 2016. The next song in the sequence is ON, which has a pair of music videos (Kinetic Manifesto is the high energy choreo version).
Thanks for the explanation... I've been trying to find out the meaning ever since I've listened to this song coz they don't use this much autotune in their tracks but because they are BTS ofcourse they also have a meaning/artistic choice behind it as well 😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@smrutishikharath3025 It certainly adds to the sense of unease in the song, the impression that something isn’t quite right in their world - the ‘voice’ is them… but also not them. I generally like the way that BTS use autotune creatively/stylistically. It isn’t often that I think it works against a particular song.
@@Mark-vj7zd that's what the feeling I got from listening it too and I tried to find out about this too much autotune thing... Apparently many people didn't like it because of this...I was quite unsure at first too, But this song just grows on you just like their shadows and you become familiar with it... Again just like their shadow...
Thank you for explaining this so articulately and eloquently. This will help people outside of ARMY to understand BTS's intentions in their musical direction. Coudln't have explained it better myself.
Pretty sure this is one of the best BTS reactions I’ve seen lately. Please continue to watch and read up on the boys and document your BTS journey for us!!
“Black Swan” is inspired by a quote: “A dancer dies twice. The first time is when he stops dancing and this first death is much more painful”. “Black swan” is about their fear that some day they’ll lose their passion for music and this would be their first death. They chose to use autotune in this song was to show the group's shadow (they're deepest collective fears/secrets) vocally, the fear being that they would fall out of love with their craft. It was RMs idea to use the autotune to blend their voices, (which makes sense since he adores Kanye and Kanye uses autotune on his vocals). Black swan is based on Jung's work of the map of the soul where the shadow, ego and persona (and more) are all equally important parts to a person's construct. The dance moves in particular you can see in the beginning they pluck what seems to be invisible string instruments, while at the end of the choreography they seem to be hanging by those very strings like puppets. Their shadow (fear/secret) has consumed them. ok, so... the song draws inspiration from both the ballet (Swan Lake) in it's choreo and imagery, but also draws a lot of inspiration from the movie "Black Swan", which in turn is heavily based on the Japanese anime film "Perfect Blue". Both movies break identity and deal (in a non-obvious way) with Carl Jung's theory of the self: Persona, Ego, Shadow. In these movies, a female performer spirals into insanity as increased pressures in her career cause her to lose grip of herself and reality. “Black Swan” tells the story of Nina, a passionate ballerina (Natalie Portman) who struggles to maintain her sanity while competing for the main role (the White Swan, Odette) in “Swan Lake.” Meanwhile, “Perfect Blue” follows Mima, a former (Japanese) pop idol whose sense of reality begins to waiver as she attempts to transition into a career as a serious actress. Both stories feature a female protagonist is put in highly stressful situations and that makes them question their identity and ultimately conjure up a doppelganger that messes with their psyche (persona, shadow and ego, basically clash). Just as Nina suffers from the pressures of being a ballerina, Mima is also forced to deal with the strict expectations of being a Japanese idol. Their personal conflicts also bleed into their professional lives causing them to spiral out of control. In Nina’s case, it comes in the form of her oppressive mother and in Mima’s situation, it’s an obsessive stalker fan. At the core of the film, both protagonists have a psychological battle with themselves that results in hallucinations that blurs the lines between fiction and reality. In the end, like I said, these films break the self and deal with themes like loss of passion and the heartbreak that come with working for your dreams. Black Swan (BTS), at its core, reflects these themes. I think that Perfect Blue can be chillingly on point for BTS, since they too are idols and experience some of the things that Mima experienced as an idol and continues to go through. BTS reflect the core concepts of these movies, identity, and conceptualise them to reflect their fear of losing their passion for music and, by extension, losing themselves. They portray people who are afraid that music is all there is to them and are afraid of losing themselves if they lose their passion. Oh boy, Jimin's dance haha he did train in ballet, albeit very minimally and as part of his main focus, which was contemporary and that's what he mostly trained for during high school. He is "professionally" trained in contemporary, hip-hop and idol dance. Even the members have said that Black Swan is Jimin's song, that he embodies the black swan. This is further highlighted in the 2020 MAMA version of Black Swan, where he does a duet with Jungkook! (here's the link for a breakdown of the moment twitter.com/mintynkks/status/1335236325373448192?s=20&t=2C90i3inGV9MBv5dgoiYQA Spoiler alert, since I dunno if you guys plan to react to the 2020MAMA performance. Which I HIGHLY recommend, it has an amazing performance of Dynamite as well). Anygays, Jimin's dance style is unique and probably near impossible to replicate since its highly influenced by his 8+ years experience in martial arts + hiphop training. +idol training + his contemporary (and minimal ballet and Korean traditional) training. He does a lot of tricking and aerials you could see with his medialuna (which is a very dangerous movement to do, because you can easily overrotate and injure your ankles) and with his movements here twitter.com/pjmgem/status/1466261374355402757?s=20&t=u_YLlw3YOrAu5eb2FaijzA and here twitter.com/jikookheart/status/1465173437589110788?s=20&t=u_YLlw3YOrAu5eb2FaijzA, during the live performance, where he basically does a one-handed cartwheel to cover more space. Black Swan is one of my favourite songs from BTS!
Thank you so much for the explanation and the movies example, I have seen some analytic videos for black swan but i was not able to understand fully I only had a rough idea about the real message of this song But now I totally understand and I love the song even more now because i can finally understand what bts wanted to represent as Black swan💜 Thank you again
Thank you for the in depth, detailed description of the video. I was able to totally understand and see what they are saying with their dancing and I really liked how when the one who was singing, the shadow of him was actually a different member. So I definitely think that there’s a lot going on here, the allegory is hard to see at first m, only because I was tying to read the lyrics. But then I realized I don’t need to read what the lyrics are saying and I just appreciate your helpful comment!!
If you haven’t noticed Army is like over enthusiastic golden retrievers very very excited. Enjoy the BTS rabbit hole it is nearly endlessly deep with a back catalog of over 300 songs, MVs, choreography practices, making of films, behind the scenes etc. no other artist has as much content and it’s also constantly being added to. All that to say pace yourself enjoy the ride and I vote On: Kinetic Manifesto for dance and for vocal ability try a vocal only song like House of Cards live with lyrics, it’s amazing.
wow u guys are such mature and well educated reactors! such a breath of fresh air!!! love love love ur vibe and can't wait to follow along your bts journey, you will LOVE it
I’m a subscriber now BECAUSE of this reaction, thanks to the UA-cam algorithm, I found your channel. You both were so respectful in your reaction and that’s all us ARMY want. BTS means everything to us and it makes us happy when we see BTS bring light and goodness into another person’s life. Thank you for letting them into your lives, you won’t regret it!
Im pretty sure you have heard one of their song, "dynamite" or maybe "butter" ? Because they are big. Bts also did collaboration with nicki minaj, megan thee stallion, halsey and coldplay. Oh yea bts will performing live at grammys on 3rd April. It's not the first time they are performing there but it's the first time they get solo stage and doing it live. In 2019, they were invited to present an award. In 2020 they were invited to perform Old Town Road with Lil nas X. In 2021 they were nominated but they can't attend grammy because of covid pandemic so they only send the prerecord perfomance from korea. And this year(2022), they are also nominated and confirmed to attend grammy and perfoming live
It's the first time I watched a 'first time reacting to BTS' and instantly subscribed the channel. I loved how serious and open minded both of you are. It is exactly what BTS wants people to do while listening their songs. Without any prejudice and with just a little bit of will to learn about them, if you allow it, you will fall for them. Just like I did many years ago. I can't wait to watch your next reactions, I won't be making any recommendation tho bcz I'm sure whatever you guys choose will be a great reaction just like this one. Thank you so much for the great reaction, as an ARMY I'm already proud of you for being great at doing your creative content in a professional and respectful way. Thank you! 💜
Same @Bettina Sant’Anna I totally sub’d immediately. And I don’t sub that fast!! These fellas are intelligent, open minded and I love that they reference and noticed the hip-hop roots right off! Army Stan’s LEGENDS! 💜
I got chills multiple times throughout this video, from just seeing how you guys react and witnessing that AHA! moments you had. Mature genuine reactors indeed! Ill come back for more BTS reactions and from what I noticed, BTS has found you!
4:22 Sadly enough they weren't played on the radio in the west at all back then.. It's only until they started making a few fully english songs recently that they actually got played on the radio worldwide (which is sad since they were topping charts for years already, and have so much more to offer then just those few fully english songs..) Anyways, love your reaction!! I really enjoy the calmness and thoughtfulness you guys bring into your videos!
I am a 51 year old woman. This winter was dark and cold. People without vaccination were treated like criminals in my country (Austria) and all was messed up. Families got into fights and our society's separation was topping up trough a vax mandate law. Which still is floating like a Damokles sword above us. In one of those dark moments BTS found me and gave me so much positivity and joy that I feel alive again. Especially "Permission to dance" was the key to my heart! They made sure that live isn't over and that no one in this world has the right to forbid us to live as free human beings. I love their music and passion for it. It is a great gift to me and my family. We are all army!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I'm new to BTS myself..kept hearing them mentioned on Dimash reactions so I checked them out..my introduction was them doing a concert online because of covid...I loved their energy and enthusiasm and cohesiveness... was such a spontaneous joyful honest performance. They are family and they make people feel like theyr a part of it. It wasn't until I watched GidKidDAD reaction videos to BTS that I started learning more and how intelligent and deliberate every word ..note and visual is in their music..blood sweat n tears was incredible..the symbolism and depth was mind-blowing. The adversity they've endured and how they stayed do true to themselves and each other. Army provides all you need to get to know them and see them and understand them.
Ah we have followed the same road to BTS. Big Dimash fan and kept seeing BTS come up, so took a chance. So happy I did - these past 2 weeks have been a big lift to my mood getting to know them.
@@annaarwen4345 omg you've known them for 2 weeks? is that right? that's awesome i remember when i was new to bts i was consuming their contents quietly and not interacting with armys online lol. i was shy and my communication skills were not pretty good back then 😅
@@ashton1356 yup totally new to them. I heard about BTS a while back but thought "another boy band" 🙄 I dont know why I chose to watch a compilation of clips from their series because its not something i usually watch. I liked their energy and thought give their music a try. I can see Ive got a lot to catch up on 😂
I love to watch people discover that Boys. This is going to be wicked fun! You want to take the measure of their vocals… There are live versions of You Eyes Tell that will give you a picture of their singing ability. Can’t wait to see your journey. Have fun!! 💜💜💜💜💜
@@JaredandJordan You might have to be careful with live. Japanese songs are copyrighted so you might get blocked , but you can always check it out without reacting.
I am really really looking forward to your BTS reactions. You'll be amazed. I am subscribing for this and the fact that you guys were so open minded and so respectful
I am a first time listener and I have already subscribed. I'm a 69-year-old dude from Chicago and a huge fan of BTS. I really respect you guys for your care and thoughtfulness in reacting.
Additional info: bts is consist of 3 rappers & 4 vocalist & members are also doing solo stuff in which you really can see their individual vibe. The 3 rappers have individual mixtapes & vocal lines have been trying to put out one of their own too. You guys can try their live performances & dance practice videos which blackswan has one. Thanks for this & i appreciate the time u guys did to know them a bit before diving in. God bless.
THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST FIRST REACTION I HAVE EVER WATCHED. You guys were so open, and really explored not only the song, the instrumentals behind it, but also the story. Super thank you for appreciating bts' music like this.
wow! This was one of the best "first time listening to BTS" reactions I've seen! Love how you guys are so sophisticated and mature with your comments and how you focus on the meaning behind the song while giving props to the visuals. I clicked on the subscribe button half way through your video 👍Though I would say, BTS songs are always so fun to decipher and can be interpreted a million ways, I am looking forward to how you guys would digest their content 😊
dynamite was a huge hit so yes you probably already heard that song before, it was everywhere. BTS is very versatile, hip-hop was originally their base, but they basically do everything at this point. They have a wide range and a huge discography so there's something for everyone, (over 280 tracks, not counting the free SoundCloud gifts, covers, remixes and songs members produce for other artists). Members also have their own solo mixtapes and have solo songs inside bts albums, which are connected and fit the artistic theme of the album. The guys are very close to each other, they have been living together for 10 years and I've never seen a group of 7 people get along so well and act so geniune with each other. Very wholesome guys in general and always down to earth.
Thank you, enjoyed that! Songs featuring vocals as requested, I'd suggest start with a sample of their music: ROOM LIVE (FESTA 2021): ua-cam.com/video/RRhjdYsNwAk/v-deo.html Or these: TINY DESK CONCERT: ua-cam.com/video/gFYAXsa7pe8/v-deo.html
YOUR EYES TELL LIVE (Eng subs): ua-cam.com/video/YAXDiCL5v1c/v-deo.html FIX YOU (BANGTANTV): ua-cam.com/video/SMkLdYK-9IE/v-deo.html With over 300 + songs you'll find something, also all the remixes and B-sides.... 😃😃
Agreed👍🏾 but for the ROOM LIVE (FESTA) I would recommend this video instead because it had the English subs both on the song lyrics and what they’re saying in between. It also has some explanations of things that might pass you by if you don’t understand Korean: ua-cam.com/video/-J-IM2hLBUc/v-deo.html Thanks for your amazing reaction to BTS and for understanding their passion and talents at first glance. As j-hope once said ‘you’ll soon realise that liking BTS will be the best decision ever’ and as an ARMY, I can definitely attest to that. They have not only changed my life but also how I view life as a whole and have given the motivation to actually live, not just survive as I am sure they have done for many people. Their music, their message and even simply them as people have inspired so many people to not just settle for their current reality but to move forward towards creating a better life for themselves. So I can’t wait for you to dive even further into their rabbit hole for not just music but also learning about them as artists and as people. Borahae (means I purple you: a phrase BTS and ARMY have coined to express affection for one another)
@@anjola5643 Oh thanks for that! much better indeed. As you say, BTS have changed a lot of lives and literally saved peoples lives, those contemplating suicide, on hearing their music didn't go ahead - really amazing.
“Black Swan” is what I would call an art piece. And a think piece. The fear of losing their passion for creating art while creating art is thought provoking. Thank you for your insights.
This is one of the few genuine reactions I've watched yet. I appreciate the honesty and open mind to listen to something different. Kpop was a whole new world for me. I was hesitant to listen to Kpop for the first time. And I was also ignorant... But then I met BTS, their music changed my whole perspective on music itself. Hell, I didn't even know Kpop existed til them. To keep it short they changed my life for the better. And I don't think I've listened to American music since then..😅🥲
Wait until you see them live and learn their personalities. They are amazing good human beings who are 100% supportive of each other and they view their fans with profound sense of gratitude. Like no other artist I have ever seen in my 54 years. They have deep messages, a prolific and very diverse discography. indescribable. I found them by happenstance and I consider them a great gift in my life. Sounds dramatic and crazy but I would venture to say most ARMY would echo my description.
Try as a 52 year old to tell your friends, this is the s.it 😉 You are missing out!!!!!! But no... they don`t get it... So i`m alone here... Except of the ARMY💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I enjoyed your reaction to BTS Black Swan.....I just subscribed. I love their music and I hope you continue to react to them. (There are 3 rappers and 4 vocalist-they are all talented humble people). 💜💜
Jimin He's a vocal legend!! The way he sings flawlessly even while doing thw tough choreo is just amazing!! His voice is really captivating and I don't think words are enough to explain how amazing he is!!
BTS had tons of hardships all over the years, but their brotherhood boundaries surpassed everything. They love each other like real family, they’ve said it lots of times in interviews. If a member is missing they feel incomplete like not having your phone with you. It’s a really extensive journey to see how they grew from being teens to young adults and how their music and their personalities changed with them but they always remain humble.
New here loved this BTS reaction I suggest doing a reaction to This is BTS before diving down the rabbit hole. My other suggestions is Blood Sweat and tears MV but to truly appreciate them watch them live🤯🔥💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Lol.... me too. I never rely on Wikipedia because most times, the information provided are outdated. I was shocked that the information of BTS was up to date.
I did not expect this kind of reaction. You guys absolutely took your time to research and respectfully listen to their music. I love how open-minded you guys are, and willing to explore different kind of music that is not strictly english. I think that a lot of reactor channels could learn a lot from you guys! Keep up the good work. I look forward to more BTS videos :)
Radio doesn’t actually play their songs cause they are in Korean. But they have 3 English singles, 2 of them Dynamite and Butter you probably heard on radio
Thank you for recognizing their talents. This song was written by the leader RM, who stated that he cried a lot when writing it. He’s sooo humble and such a wonderful leader, as acknowledged by the team members. Unfortunately, he is not given enough recognition for his contribution to the success of BTS.
Black swan is a masterpiece If you want to know more about BTS i suggest you these 2 videos :"the most beautiful moment in life goes on a story of bts" by the asian theory and "THIS IS BTS, introduction to bts" by xceleste
isn't *XCeleste* video "this is bts"? 💥💥💥💥💥 I'd give her 5 of 5 stars and Asian Theories second version of 2021 4 of 5 maybe 4,5 of 5. 💥💥💥💥 Those who are on the verge of going deeper and look at the conflicts may enjoy: *bby* *gang* *mag* 's channel and his very intellectual video essays. 👍 💥💥💥💥💥 If you have time: *"The* *Rise* *of* *Bangten"* -series is the best and I dare anyone to watch it and not to fall for the them/the rabbit hole. Context is so important and fun, too. 👍 🎆🎆🎆🎆🎆✨✨✨✨✨ But they did not have it easy. 💜
BTS has 3 rappers and 4 vocalists, that allows them to handle many genres (pop, r&b, hiphop, EDM, etc) it could be said that they are quite versatile, they have songs both as a group as well as individually, although none of the members have officially debuted as soloist they put out their own projects (mixtapes, covers, OST's, etc). I think part of their success is that each member has a role within the group and they all shine on stage despite being 7, each one has skills that add to the team.
Thank you for your reaction! Uhm...for vocal abilities... Your Eyes Tell? A Japanese song. Live, of course. Or Coldplay's Fix You cover? As for personal recommendations; Dope, Save Me, I need U, Fire, Fake Love, Idol, Life Goes On, ON, Butter. Their lives are amazing, btw. I'd recommend MAMA 2019 (MAMA is a Korean award show: in 2019 they were given 40 minutes time to perform and it basically become their concert). Yep, nobody "leads" basically their work as a group (even though, RM is their de facto group leader). About their influences... Uhm, they have a song called HipHop Phile about their early influences. Btw, your voices are soooo sothing! Really nice to hear! :-)
The best reaction i've ever seen. You took your time to learn about them, listened to their song, gave your opinions, respected them and didn't dislike it because it's another language. This is how a reaction should be.
HOUSE OF CARDS by the BTS' vocal line only and OUTRO TEAR (live performance) by the rap line.. Their music is so eclectic, it goes from hip hop to classic pop songs. Rap, R&B, POP, BALLADS etc. What's more they mix any kind of genre to create their own. That's why sometimes it is hard to classify their music in only one genre. There's a long list to listening to.
They’re 4 vocalist: Jin(oldest), Jimin, V, and Jungkook(youngest) and 3 rappers: RM(leader), Suga, and J-Hope. I recommend you guys to watch an introduction video of them to get to know them, Also thank you for this reaction! 😁
Thank you for reacting to them! Since you want to dive into the rabbit hole, I’ll give some facts and recommendations for you to react to! Ok so bts has 7 members which you know , out of those 7 there are 4 vocalists and 3 rappers. The 3 rappers are the main writers and producers and also have solo careers along side bts. Here are the names: RM - Leader, Main Rapper, writer/producer/composer Suga - Lead rapper, writer/producer/composer. Agust d is his solo career stage name. Jhope - Rapper, Main Dancer, Sub vocalist (he sings sometimes) Writer/producer/composer Here are the vocalists: Jungkook - Main Vocalist, lead dancer, sub rapper (use to rap more in their early days) the youngest Jimin - Lead Vocalist, Main Dancer Jin - Vocalist, the oldest V - Vocalist, Dancer (They all dance but certain ones have had actual dance training before bts or was able to learn really well) (They also have all wrote or produced but the rappers are the main ones and have the most experience) The order for most experience/best is Main, Lead, then Sub Also I understand when you said they all sound like one but when you continue to listen, you’ll be able to pick out their voices! Now here are some songs Vocal line songs (just the vocalists) House of Cards The truth Untold Zero o clock Rap line songs (just the rappers) Ugh Ddaeng Outro Tear Cyphers 1-4 Title tracks with music videos On Kinetic Manifesto film Fake Love Blood Sweat and tears DNA Mic Drop Just one day Boy With Luv Dope Fire Idol ft Nicki Minaj Spring day Danger Save me Boy in Luv I need u Heartbeat Film out (a Japanese song) Lights (a Japanese song) Not Today Airplane Pt.2 Life goes on B-side tracks of all members together Louder than bombs Home Paradise Pied piper Dis-Ease Butterfly Baepsae Tomorrow Jump Dionysus Ma City Solo songs from each member Rm : Joke, Do You, Persona Suga/Agust D: Daechwita, Agust d, First love Jhope: Boy meets evil trailer, Ego, Blue Side full version Jungkook: Stay alive, Still with you, Begin Jimin: Lie, Filter, Serendipity Jin: Epiphany, Awake, Yours V: Singularity, Stigma, Sweet Night There are so much more but this is already long😂 I hope you enjoy!!)
Before watching, I was wondering why the comment section is filled with "Best first Time reaction"... now I know why, and I agree! So thoughtful of you for looking things up to understand the song and know BTS more, it's so satisfying to see you react and truly appreciate them. will be looking forward for your next BTS reacts
If you like when they flex their creative muscles, then I would definitely recommend "Lie". "Lie" was Jimin's first song that he wrote the lyrics for entirely by himself and he also played a large part in producing it as well. It mixes several different styles and genres to create something that makes you want to listen to it multiple times just to try and catch the little details. From the minor/major changes to the inclusion of orchestral music and sound effects, it is a rabbit hole all to itself. For some Latin flavor, listen to "Airplane Pt 2". You want to hear them go off on a diss track? Listen to any of the four different "Cypher" tracks. You want ultra smooth and sexy? Listen to V dropping panties in baritone while channeling his inner D'Angelo on the neo soul tracks "Singularity" and "Stigma". Seriously, if you don't know what the songs are about, then your first thought will be that it is straight baby-making music. You want songs with social commentary? Well, you are spoiled for choice because there are a ton of them. "Baepsae" is about the wealth gap, power dynamics in society, and the lies told to young people trying to overcome. "Ugh" was put out by the rap line (Suga, RM, and J-Hope) about outrage culture and online abuse. I recommend watching the videos put out by DKDKTV, where the songs are "explained by a Korean". They break down the songs and include explanations of the cultural references so it makes much more sense. Straight up bangers? You cannot go wrong with "Fire", "Mic Drop" (Steve Aoki remix), "Dope", "Bulletproof Pt 2" (definitely watch the dance practice for that one!!!), "Daechwita" (solo release by Suga that hella slaps and makes everyone replay the same part and comment on his flow when the switch comes), "Not Today", and a ton of others. Want pop fun? "Go Go" (also a social commentary song), "Dimple", "Dynamite", "Run", "Anpanman", "Butter", "Boy in Luv" (not to be confused with "Boy With Luv" feat Halsey that came out much later), etc. Want to sit there with a silly smile on your face, sway, and just chill? Then listen to "Make It Right", "Just One Day", "Mikrokosmos", Serendipity", "Spring Day", "Awake", "Heartbeat", "Lights", and definitely, definitely V's first entirely solo track "Scenery". He wrote, composed, and produced the song, and even took the photo for the cover. It is soft feelings and fond memories in song form. There is literally something for everyone. Welcome to our nose-twitching, long-eared burrow!
With your guys' mindset towards art, I think you're gonna love BTS. They're the most humble, funny, down to earth people, but they never want peope to forget that they're artists. Black Swan is an amazing song to start with. It's gonna be SO interesting to see what you react to next because no matter what you choose, it's going to be different. Side note: I'm watching this at night and I just have to say your voices are so soothing 😂💜.
Jaz didn't lie when they said this was going to be the rabbit hole of rabbit holes. Get ready for a wild ride. I loooovvveee how in depth you guys go with your reaction. This is my first time to your channel, as my ARMY signal was activated when you posted this, but it won't be my last. If you want to get a good grasp on their vocals before you jump all in, i would suggest watching BTS Room Live 2021 they are singing and rapping little snippets of some of their songs, also you get to see sone of their personalities. Also for that high vocal range reaction check out BTS Your Eyes Tell Live. This song gives me chills every time i listen. So these are just suggestions to start with. You earned a new subscriber in me from just one video, which says a lot because I usually like to check out more content just to make sure the reactors are sincere. I think you both are so...You nice, keep going💜 Also when you start reacting to the music videos always let the Big Hit or Hybe logo play first at the start to avoid copyright strikes.
For rapping i would recommend Outro - Tear for vocals i would recommend Your Eyes Tell (which is English and Japanese) its an OST one of the members wrote originally for his mixed tape then they changed it up for a Japanese Film soundtrack. Others are On - Kinetic Manifesto Come Prima, House of Cards, Truth Untold, tbh the list is endless they have around 300+ songs.
I was thinking Your Eyes Tell! Or if they can hear JK’s cover of Falling by Harry Styles so they can hear the main vocalists just showing all the way off with his vocal skills lol
I'm watching this video again. I watched it the first time when released. Thank You for building your channel and creating quality BTS reactions. 👏👏👏 Our guys will be back this time next year. The energy of army is starting to build again, can you feel it? Thank You for your channel.
Wow this is such a breath of fresh air. Most reactors go in ‘blind’ when reacting to BTS for the first time but I love how you took the time to do a quick search before watching the actual video. Not only that, you also take the time to dive into the meaning behind the song. Wow. Looking forward for more!
Impressive reaction! I would highly recommend the following MVs of BTS: * ON - Kinetic Manifesto * Mic Drop * Butter * Fake Love * I NEED YOU followed by RUN (the 2 MVs are connected in their fictional storyline universe called the BTS Universe) * Singularity (performed by BTS member V) * Euphoria (performed by BTS member Jungkook aka JK) * Lie (performed by BTS member Jimin) * Outro: Tear (BTS rapline - RM, Suga & J-Hope) * House of Cards (BTS Vocal line - Jin, Jimin, V, & JK) * N.O. (released early during their 1st year - debut year in 2013 from their 2nd mini album) These are just a few of my suggestions if you're interested in diving into the BTS "rabbit hole". I just subscribed because I enjoyed your thoughtful & inquisitive reaction to BTS. I hope once in awhile you will react to one of their songs.
*GREAT song to begin with. Loved your reaction, and that you guys did a little research about them before. Another great song i recommend to follow that up is "Fake Love". Amazing MV and beautiful lyrics.*
great first time BTS reaction! Would highly recommend their Tiny Desk Concert next, where they perform stripped down versions of three of their hits live (turn on subtitles!). Other recs: their live performances of "Outro: Tear," which showcases the 3 rappers of the group and was written when they considered disbanding due to pressures with their rise in popularity, and "Crystal Snow," a Japanese ballad that showcases the ranges and timbres of the 4 vocalists. Definitely also check out an introductory video to the group- one of the best is "Intro to BTS" (ua-cam.com/video/kGRlqyuky2s/v-deo.html). Enjoy the journey!
As an Army who was there when this song dropped I am so impressed on how fast you two understood the meaning. As a 45yrs single mother BTS is my escape and its a joy to find new creators that is genuine in their reaction to my boys thank you from all of us ARMY. FYI I am now a subscriber also I have been an ARMY since 2014.
@@jerrycontent1900 yes thank you a lot of us older Army discover BTS when we need them emotionally and for some mentally because of the messages in their songs.
I grew up on Queen and I love them because of the different genre of music they do. I never thought there would another group who’d do different genre again, until bts. For someone who gets bored with just a genre, this is perfect.
I'm only in the beginning of the video and I'm already in love. Your voices are sooooo calming 🥺 thank you for reacting to BTS, I hope you enjoy the journey 💜
Wow, this is the first time I'm watching you guys but I love your style already! You are both so laid back and mellow yet at the same time so intense and able to pick apart things to smartly. Would love to see you react to more BTS, they have alot of depth in their music and performances and would love to see you pick it all apart! Also I think one of the reason that BTS has lasted so long and not like split up like many other known groups is that they don't just do group songs. On their albums they have songs in which only three members sing, and solo songs as well. And they also release music on their own on the side, both solo stuff as individual artists but also like just for fun on Soundcloud, or also as singers on soundtracks for movies or tv shows. So they are able to do things both as a group and as individuals yet remain together and grow as a group.
You have to listen to "Your eyes tell", " Pied Piper", "House of cards", "Dead leaves" if you want to listen to their vocals. They have so many songs. And all of them are awesome💜 welcome to the rabbit hole, named BTS😅
I genuinely think you guys would ADORE this group. BTS have definitely carved out a part of the world for themselves, they are all genuinely so talented its mind blowing. Also, when they say RM is the leader they literally mean he leads the group, and acts as the middleman between the company and the group. It doesn't necessarily mean he's the frontman, or the one who stands out the most, or anything like that. In all honestly there is no sole member that stands out over the others, they're all actually very evenly split. They're all multitalented, and have solo ventures while still being part of BTS. Like all the rappers have their own mixtapes they've released, the vocalists have all had solo singles that have been part of BTS' album or just dropped on their own. They all have their own expertise within performance and songwriting that kinda allows for them to excel in the way they have. The NPR Tiny Desk is a good video just to see their vocals and the group dynamic (they have 3 rappers and 4 vocalists), or their 2021 live room Festa, which was kind of a medley of their songs from their first album to their latest. Just snippets but it was cool 💜 If you want informational/Documentary type videos to get to know the members: - An introduction to the 7 members of BTS (2021 update) by: Ida S - The most beautiful moment in life goes on: A story of BTS (2021 Update) by TheAsianTheory - Nobodies to Legends (2019) by: xCeleste - Rise of Bangtan (by TheRiseOfBangtanOfficial) - keep in mind, this is an ongoing docu-series highlighting the entirety of BTS' journey, there are 19 chapters out as of now Songs to start off with: - ON (Kinetic manifesto film) - Blood Sweat and Tears - Fake Love - Mic Drop (Steve Aoki Remix) - DNA
i love how calming this reaction was. usually other reaction videos are loud and all over the place but you guys were very calm, your voices were extremely soothing and I love how y'all did some research on the group and the song and how open and accepting you were to them. usually I'll see people just jump into the music and be loud and stopping the video and going off track but this was really professional and pleasing to watch so thank you! i will be watching more of your videos I can tell you that
omg when you said you thought you heard dominican music that brought a HUGE smile to my face. I'm dominican and it's so hard for me to even try to talk to any of my family members about bts because they say I'm obsessed with "lo chinitos" and how they all look the same and make fun of their language so I'm very pleased with hearing you say that
You hit the nail! Pin point accuracy!! They are a 7 member group but they are 1 unit. There's no ONE MAIN MEMBER or ONE lead... THEY ARE ALL VITAL FOR BTS TO BE BTS! This is exactly my favorite trait of BTS. Their humbleness, their comaradery, their treatment to each other: always respectful and considerate and motivating! LOVE~BTS!!!
The first three members are rappers so you can definitely see why they actually first started as a hip-hop group. Two came from an underground rap scene and one was a street breakdancer. This MV features contemporary style of dancing which is expressive and dramatic. Suits the melody and the tempo of song. Jimin who did his solo dance was a top student in contemporary dancing.
The fact that they are together for so many years and are still going unlike other groups is cuz they have a special bond between them.....they are like a family of 7 brothers they understands each other and supports each other in every aspects and also due to this they are called ‘the best group'.... besides their music, dance, performance people also love them cuz of their humble, down to earth and friendly nature. If you want to hear more of the vocal line(Jin, Jimin, V, Jungkook) then u should watch live for raw vocals their vocals are no joke....Jimin has a really high pitched voice and V has low pitched voice..... Jungkook is the main vocalist and Jin's vocals are extraordinary....all of them have a distinctive voice....and one of my favourite vocal line song is ‘the truth untold' which I also recommend you it's live version is out of this world.....and onto the rap line(RM, Suga, Jhope) RM and Suga were underground rappers before their debut and Jhope started rapping after joining BTS.....RM is the leader and also the Main rapper of the group....all of them have different rap styles and their rap is really strong so I also suggest u to react to their rap line.... Overall this group is full of talents and they have worked really hard to get to where they are now💜💜
So very true, No egos in this group. Yes they have a group leader , lead vocalist, but never comes out during performance, they all take part, their vocal/rap lines are distributed based on the song who's voice is used more to make the song overall performance as a group not Individual comfort and thats professionalism to its fullness especially with a group of 7 young talented Individuals. However they have Individuals projects and l equally successful. They have verity of inspirations from different genre's and they usually call out their inspections In their lyrics...knowing who is who will help you better knowing their work concepts . Welcome to the Rabbit hole am yet to see one climb out 😆
Check out their live performances to witness how good their voices are. It’s way more better than studio version actually... you can hear how unique and amazing their vocals during their live performances...
BTS is really unique... BTS has 3 rappers and 4 vocalists and I don't know if you know that each member releases solo music and stuff while they are in the same group as well. And usually when you see this in groups in general there's always like a few members who get like jealous or greedy about it, but for BTS members it's totally the opposite. They support each other in everything and that's what surprised me when I became ARMY. They have such a strong brotherly relationship that it seems unbelievable that they met just because of the company they are in. And speaking of their company, HYBE (formerly Big Hit Entertainment) really put all their effort into them because they were a small company and above all they always gave the 7 members a lot of musical freedom. The CEO trusted them so much and now it is one of the biggest music companies in South Korea. Really, not only their music, but also their story is inspiring and the 7 of them are incredibly humble. I love your reaction, new subscriber over here.
Because of the thorough, methodical way you approach your reaction to each song, I have unsubscribed from other reactors. You give me everything I didn’t know I wanted and needed from reactors.
This makes me glad and happy .. as someone whose life was saved by these 7 genuine guys .. i hope u guys enjoy the ride with ARMY besides you! 💜💜we purple u!
Good luck going through this journey with BTS. I started on this journey back in 2017 and I don't see myself getting off this journey anytime soon. I love their music and it's helped me cope with a lot that has been going on in my life.
I saw this in my UA-cam recommended and I'm a huge BTS fan but I also love Dimash. I'm so glad I've found some reactors who react to my favorite singer and my favorite artists! Loved the reaction and will definitely be here to support you all on your journey. I've found a great place.
Learning about BTS: 1 - The video by Noshi called "A 2021 BTS GUIDE: learn to tell the members apart" is one of my favorites to learn the members individually both individually background and singing style & discography..... 2 - "This is BTS: introduction to BTS" by xCeleste. 3 - "An introduction to the 7 members of BTS (2021 update) " by Ida S
New subscriber here...my daughter introduced BTS to me and I'm stuck with the Bangtan boys,,,they are really the best...Solid Army here 😊😊😊..I recommend mic drop please tenk u
I just watched your I Will Always Love You reaction and heard the story about your mama....just wanna say I could feel the pain and couldn't help but cry myself. I couldn't imagine losing my mama at such a young age. I'm so glad that music has helped you guys to get through such unbearable moments, the power of music is indeed very powerful. Literally one of the first things that went through my head when I watched your BTS reaction was, "wow these are guys are so intelligent, well-spoken and cultured, they must have had a great upbringing and great parents". I just know your mama would be so proud of you guys. Also just for your info, one of the BTS rappers J-Hope has a solo song called Mama dedicated to his mama, you guys would probably like it. There's no music video, but you can do a lyric video and then a live performance. For the live performance, he brings out a whole gospel choir sort of thing. For some context, all the BTS members left their hometowns at a very young age to pursue music, they all lived and trained together for years before they even debuted their first album. They hardly got to go home to see their families, and they couldn't really do any of the normal things people their age did. All their time was dedicated to training and it was very vigorous. Training years for kpop idols are notorious for being extremely grueling, stressful and competitive. Like we're talking 8+ hours a day of dance practice, then straight to the recording studio or vocal lessons. 2 of their rappers even had to stay up all night to hone their songwriting and producing skills. And you can do that for years, but suddenly be cut from the team for not being good enough. J-Hope's mother was very supportive of him, but his family was tight on money. J-Hope pursuing his dreams was putting his family in debt and his mother had to work overseas to help support the family. On top of the stress and exhaustion J-Hope already had from rigorous training, he felt even more pressure not to fail and let his mother's sacrifices go to waste. So his song Mama is to express his gratitude and love for her, and how he worked really hard to succeed so that she wouldn't need to struggle anymore and could just lean on him now.
You guys got a sub from me. You nice, keep going! These guys have a HUGE and super DIVERSE discography. You'll be hard-pressed to find a "bad" song by these guys. They just don't make BAD music, its not a thing for them. Cuz even when you nay get to a song that isn't your jam, there's no way to not be able to appreciate it regardless
i really love everything about this reaction, the vibe, the interest on truly understanding it, and especially how calm you guys talk since english isn't my first language lol. just subscribed and i'm really excited to see more of your bts' reaction.
if you wanna see how good they sound live, you should definitely check out BTS Festa 2021 live and bts tiny desk concert... after watching that you should watch An introduction to the 7 members of BTS (2021 update)
I think its important to note that bts has two different "lines": the rapline and the vocal line. Most of their songs will have all of them on it and showcase rapping and singing together, but they do have just rapline songs and just vocal line songs (as well as solos and subunits). For more vocal centered songs, I recommend 00:00, Magic Shop, Film Out, Lights, Let Go, House of Cards, Dimple, etc. If you want to see a live performance that showcases them both, I think Armypedia is a good place to start 💜. One of the best first BTS reactions ive ever watched. Dimash is an amazing artist for sure, i love him. BTS is a super group comprised of 3 rappers and 4 vocalists-- they cover various genres. Each member has done solo tracks and mix tapes while staying together as a band. There's so many songs to select from, BTS discography has close to 300 tracks -- the Truth Untold, Magic Shop, Louder than Bombs to name a few for vocally driven tracks -- the Rap line comprised of RM JHope and Suga, my fave rap track is Outro: Tear ( an emotional track about a time when they considered disbanding) i would recommend the live performances; the live performances take it to the next level.
one of the best (maybe the best, if i’m being honest) bts reactions i’ve seen! you guys researched before, which i don’t see very often, and were able to catch on to details that seem small, but are very important. same thing for the meaning of the song, you both just had a great understanding of the meaning and how scary it is to think about losing your passion. thanks for being so open to bts’ music. definitely subscribing!
Thanks so much Camille! 😊🙏🏽
If you’re wanting to see their vocal abilities then I Highly recommend watching BTS Tiny Desk Concert and BTS Festa room live for raw unfiltered vocals! These guys are the real deal!
Yes to this!!!!
Yap... agree
Yes.. do this 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Up
Tiny Desk is incredible, but BTS Festa Room Live shows the wide variety of their music better: ua-cam.com/video/RRhjdYsNwAk/v-deo.html.
Thank you!! A lot of requests for the Tiny Desk concert. We’ll definitely have to get to this one very soon 😊
@@JaredandJordan just a quick reminder to turn on English subtitles for songs 2 and 3 for the BTS tiny desk concert. Looking forward to seeing your reaction.
@@JaredandJordan True!! That's probably the best first time BTS reaction video I have seen by far... Hope to see more from you guys... 👍
@@himaririku9254 ok
beatles were horrible singers,,,,,i hate beatles !
The people have spoken☺️ more BTS reactions needed from the twins with the soothing voices!

They have those, too.😋)
OMG you are right!!! Normally I have no problem recognising who is singing
Their voices weren't unidentifiable for me tho. I mean for new armys it might be but one who knows their voices clearly, they can tell the difference. I can at least. The only voices that were almost the same imo was suga n jhopes (I'm talking about black swan particularly) but I can tell who is who just by looking at their hands so I prolly don't count🥴🤣
ikr!!! i agree with you
@@susmita9891 same I was just thinking that.
I've been trying to find out the meaning ever since I've listened to this song coz they don't use this much autotune in their tracks but because they are BTS ofcourse they also have a meaning/artistic choice behind it as well 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Greatly articulated and well explained!
Thanks so much 😊💜💜
“Black Swan” is inspired by a quote: “A dancer dies twice.
Thank you for Jimin's dance background! He really embodied the black swan, I instantly recognized the ballet references in his movement.
Thank you so much for the explanation and the movies example, I have seen some analytic videos for black swan but i was not able to understand fully I only had a rough idea about the real message of this song But now I totally understand and I love the song even more now because i can finally understand what bts wanted to represent as Black swan💜
Thank you again
Thank you for the in depth, detailed description of the video. I was able to totally understand and see what they are saying with their dancing and I really liked how when the one who was singing, the shadow of him was actually a different member. So I definitely think that there’s a lot going on here, the allegory is hard to see at first m, only because I was tying to read the lyrics. But then I realized I don’t need to read what the lyrics are saying and I just appreciate your helpful comment!!
Very niceeeee 💜💜
🤓
If you haven’t noticed Army is like over enthusiastic golden retrievers very very excited. Enjoy the BTS rabbit hole it is nearly endlessly deep with a back catalog of over 300 songs, MVs, choreography practices, making of films, behind the scenes etc. no other artist has as much content and it’s also constantly being added to. All that to say pace yourself enjoy the ride and I vote On: Kinetic Manifesto for dance and for vocal ability try a vocal only song like House of Cards live with lyrics, it’s amazing.
I really enjoyed your reaction. You were professional, made intelligent comments, and took the subject matter seriously. Thank you.

I loved the reaction. I am going to watch them from now on.
Thank you! 💜
Thank you so much Bettina for this amazing comment. We appreciate you so much 💜🙏🏽
@@JaredandJordan I can't wait for more BTS reactions from you! ;*
Same @Bettina Sant’Anna I totally sub’d immediately. And I don’t sub that fast!! These fellas are intelligent, open minded and I love that they reference and noticed the hip-hop roots right off!
Army Stan’s LEGENDS! 💜
@@armymomot7931 So true! I'm honestly really excited to watch what else they will bring with their next Tannies' reaction ...
Army Stan’s LEGENDS! 💜
right there with you.
I got chills multiple times throughout this video, from just seeing how you guys react and witnessing that AHA! moments you had. Mature genuine reactors indeed! Ill come back for more BTS reactions and from what I noticed, BTS has found you!
Thank you!! 🙏🏽 we hope you enjoy our future reactions 😊
The saying is you find BTS when you need them the most
4:22 Sadly enough they weren't played on the radio in the west at all back then..
What an amazing story, Bettina! Music can be the light in the midst of real darkness. Thank you for sharing that with us!
Bts has publicly supported the covid vaccine
i mean to be fair it’s good to get vaccinated lol
Army provides all you need to get to know them and see them and understand them.
thank u for giving them a chance. army just wants to share bts' message and art and thank u for recognizing it. 💜

Have fun!! 💜💜💜💜💜

You'll be amazed.
I am subscribing for this and the fact that you guys were so open minded and so respectful
Thank you so much!! We appreciate you 🙏🏽😊
I am a first time listener and I have already subscribed. I'm a 69-year-old dude from Chicago and a huge fan of BTS. I really respect you guys for your care and thoughtfulness in reacting.
Same! I've subscribed and also liked the video. Hoping to see more BTS reaction vedios.
Thanks so much Grace! We appreciate you and hope you’ll enjoy our future reactions💜💜🙏🏽
dynamite was a huge hit so yes you probably already heard that song before, it was everywhere.
Songs featuring vocals as requested, I'd suggest start with a sample of their music:
ROOM LIVE (FESTA 2021): ua-cam.com/video/RRhjdYsNwAk/v-deo.html
Or these:
TINY DESK CONCERT: ua-cam.com/video/gFYAXsa7pe8/v-deo.html
YOUR EYES TELL LIVE (Eng subs): ua-cam.com/video/YAXDiCL5v1c/v-deo.html
FIX YOU (BANGTANTV): ua-cam.com/video/SMkLdYK-9IE/v-deo.html
With over 300 + songs you'll find something, also all the remixes and B-sides.... 😃😃
Yee please react to Festa
Agreed👍🏾 but for the ROOM LIVE (FESTA) I would recommend this video instead because it had the English subs both on the song lyrics and what they’re saying in between. It also has some explanations of things that might pass you by if you don’t understand Korean: ua-cam.com/video/-J-IM2hLBUc/v-deo.html
Thanks for your amazing reaction to BTS and for understanding their passion and talents at first glance.
Your Eyes Tell is pure magic!
wow these are great links for new people !!
I second! 😍 I sound over dramatic when describing BTS to my non Army friends but... we all know how BTS can have that effect!
So true.

Omg their vocals are to die for. Listen to the truth untold, house of cards, dimple, pide piper, frankly, all raps as well as their individual songs.
"House of Cards" my fav. Find their live performance to experience their emotions.
Thank you for recognizing their talents. This song was written by the leader RM, who stated that he cried a lot when writing it. He’s sooo humble and such a wonderful leader, as acknowledged by the team members. Unfortunately, he is not given enough recognition for his contribution to the success of BTS.
you're like high quality reactors reacting to high quality production and music of bts. thank u 💜
Black swan is a masterpiece
If you want to know more about BTS i suggest you these 2 videos :"the most beautiful moment in life goes on a story of bts" by the asian theory and "THIS IS BTS, introduction to bts" by xceleste
I would suggest an introduction to the 7 members before either one of these videos to get to know the individuals first, then their story.
Totally agree with this!!
isn't *XCeleste* video "this is bts"? 💥💥💥💥💥 I'd give her 5 of 5 stars and Asian Theories second version of 2021 4 of 5 maybe 4,5 of 5. 💥💥💥💥
Those who are on the verge of going deeper and look at the conflicts may enjoy:
*bby* *gang* *mag* 's channel and his very intellectual video essays. 👍 💥💥💥💥💥
If you have time:
*"The* *Rise* *of* *Bangten"* -series is the best and I dare anyone to watch it and not to fall for the them/the rabbit hole. Context is so important and fun, too. 👍 🎆🎆🎆🎆🎆✨✨✨✨✨
But they did not have it easy.
House of Cards and Crystal Snow live too. And Jin's epiphany!! (I'm OT7 but that song is my fav)
15:10 passion for artistic creation! That emotion hit them hard. That was before dynamite era. They were working together since training days.
Here are the names:
RM - Leader, Main Rapper, writer/producer/composer
Suga - Lead rapper, writer/producer/composer.
Agust d is his solo career stage name.
Jhope - Rapper, Main Dancer, Sub vocalist (he sings sometimes) Writer/producer/composer
Here are the vocalists:
Jungkook - Main Vocalist, lead dancer, sub rapper (use to rap more in their early days)
the youngest
Jimin - Lead Vocalist, Main Dancer
Jin - Vocalist, the oldest
V - Vocalist, Dancer
(They all dance but certain ones have had actual dance training before bts or was able to learn really well)
(They also have all wrote or produced but the rappers are the main ones and have the most experience)
The order for most experience/best is
Main, Lead, then Sub
Also I understand when you said they all sound like one but when you continue to listen, you’ll be able to pick out their voices!

Same! It usually takes me a few videos before subscribing but I love how in depth they are!
Your Eyes Tell Live is amazing
I think you need to react to thier introduction of bts because your reaction is lit

@@JaredandJordan welcome bro
Our guys will be back this time next year.
I would highly recommend the following MVs of BTS:
* ON - Kinetic Manifesto
* Mic Drop
* Butter
* Fake Love
* I NEED YOU followed by RUN (the 2 MVs are connected in their fictional storyline universe called the BTS Universe)
* Singularity (performed by BTS member V)
* Euphoria (performed by BTS member Jungkook aka JK)
* Lie (performed by BTS member Jimin)
* Outro: Tear (BTS rapline - RM, Suga & J-Hope)
* House of Cards (BTS Vocal line - Jin, Jimin, V, & JK)
* N.O. (released early during their 1st year - debut year in 2013 from their 2nd mini album)
These are just a few of my suggestions if you're interested in diving into the BTS "rabbit hole".
A year later and look how far you guys have come 🥺
“ON…kinetic manifesto”. INCREDIBLE dancing and vocals and a marching band to boot! Would love to see your reaction to this BTS film!!
great first time BTS reaction!
Thank you so much Lari!! 💜💜
Agree to all these plus Film Out too.
Plus "Truth Untold" 💜
@@psychokitty9325 omg...this is my favorite song🤦♀️ how could I forget?!
JIMIN JIMIN THE most talented dancer in the music industry ever😫
Just snippets but it was cool 💜

i love how calming this reaction was. usually other reaction videos are loud and all over the place but you guys were very calm, your voices were extremely soothing and I love how y'all did some research on the group and the song and how open and accepting you were to them. usually I'll see people just jump into the music and be loud and stopping the video and going off track but this was really professional and pleasing to watch so thank you! i will be watching more of your videos I can tell you that
omg when you said you thought you heard dominican music that brought a HUGE smile to my face. I'm dominican and it's so hard for me to even try to talk to any of my family members about bts because they say I'm obsessed with "lo chinitos" and how they all look the same and make fun of their language so I'm very pleased with hearing you say that
Thank you so much for sharing this with us! Borahae!
@@JaredandJordan aw thank you! borahae💜💜
Overall this group is full of talents and they have worked really hard to get to where they are now💜💜
As a foreigner, the fact that they speak slowly helps me to understand
So very true, No egos in this group. Yes they have a group leader , lead vocalist, but never comes out during performance, they all take part, their vocal/rap lines are distributed based on the song who's voice is used more to make the song overall performance as a group not Individual comfort and thats professionalism to its fullness especially with a group of 7 young talented Individuals. However they have Individuals projects and l equally successful. They have verity of inspirations from different genre's and they usually call out their inspections In their lyrics...knowing who is who will help you better knowing their work concepts . Welcome to the Rabbit hole am yet to see one climb out 😆
REALLY APPRECIATE THE RESEARCH YOU DID. One correction, Jin is now 30, and JK is 24 this year. BTS writes and produces their own songs since debut
True. It was weird what they read
I’m a new Army fan - I’m 63 yrs young love their story and music their individual voices but the dancing is Crazy. Thank you twins
We purple you more!! Thanks so much for your comment 💜💜🙏🏽🙏🏽
Learning about BTS:
1 - The video by Noshi called "A 2021 BTS GUIDE: learn to tell the members apart" is one of my favorites to learn the members individually both individually background and singing style & discography.....
2 - "This is BTS: introduction to BTS" by xCeleste.
3 - "An introduction to the 7 members of BTS (2021 update) " by Ida S

Thanks so much Aline!! We appreciate you 💜🙏🏽
if you wanna see how good they sound live, you should definitely check out BTS Festa 2021 live and bts tiny desk concert... after watching that you should watch An introduction to the 7 members of BTS (2021 update)
I cann't wait more BTS. Thank you.
New subscriber here...very excited for your BTS journey....Enjoy the ride...💜😊
Thanks so much Cynthia 🙏🏽❤️
Oh I promise you guys , the way you seem to like to talk about music and passion and deeper meanings - you will absolutely love them !!!
