Enjoyed this live stream! Love the drinks project! Would love to see this in Critique Club! I know you haven't recorded it but love it! Thank you and appreciated!❤❤💘
Would be interesting to see durer vs the new dual markers (pitt) from faber castell. They have a thinner nearly a fine liner in one half and really thick one in the other. Durer seems to need thicker paper I think.
Missed your live, but this was fun to watch. I pulled out my old watercolor markers (3yrs old, just a few misc colors I bought to try) & am going to try them now that I see how they’re used. I wasn’t sure how to use them until now. I was doing it all wrong…😂
I’ve just bought some of these and the bullet tip looks like a totally different colour to the brush tip, and I don’t just mean darker. I have a brown colour that looks more like an Indian red on the bullet tip. Very strange but great markers
Hi Lindsay! Can you post the color palette for that rock? I love how they work together. I think it’s yellow ochre and dioxazine purple, but I’m not sure of the red and the black/gray. Thank you!
I wonder if because these are so vibrant they would be good to go over regular watercolor to add highlights, low lights, etc. Personally I am not sure I would have much use for them, but I haven't tried watercolor markers too much. As you said it would be faster to use regular watercolours when doing a painting....But thank you for the review.
So glad you put this video out there. Ive been thinking about getting these for awhile and in fact, I was in Blick yesterday to pick up some Prismacolors and came close to pulling the trigger but luckily stuck to just my pencils. Part of the reason I passed was because it thought they're were $144. Either way after seeing this review, I feel even more so that I dont need these since I have Tombows and Spectrum Noir water color markers.
Hi Lindsey. Thanks for the review and demonstration I would like to hear your thoughts on Faber Castell lightfastness. There seems to be quite a broad range in between their ratings. Would you consider Faber Castell green box products to be lightfast?
QUESTION: Lindsay, have you ever used the the TOMBO water markers? I really love the nibs, they actually feel like a rubbery tip, and they don't frizz a break apart like normal fiber tips..
Can you turn the nib around in these markers like some of the alcohol markers? Just wondering! Love the lives! Always fun to see how media I don’t own is used! Thanks Lindsay! Enjoy your well deserved sunshine!
I love your live streams, even though I slept through this one... stupid timezones 😴🙄 I bought my Faber Castell markers over 2 years ago, and they are still just as juicy as when I got them. By the way, look at the grey line right next to the caps. Then you will easily tell the difference on the nibs. Thin line for the bullet nib and thick line for the brush nib 😊
Started live and watched the rest this morning. I think one of my favourite subjects of yours is rocks. They turn out so well every time! I love the chunkyness of these markers, though I have no need for lightfast markers. I have ohuhus and crayola's. I also don't use them that often. Do you have the Faber-Castell pitt pen brush markers? I need to look up the difference. 😊
Thanks for doing this... I have been wondering about these markers also. I hesitated due to worry about lightfastness. Can you tell us how many markers are 3 stars, 2 starts and 1 star? This would help to decide if its worth getting... I would not use the 1 star for artwork so would only use the 3 and maybe the 2 starts for any serious artwork.
@@thefrugalcrafter lol there were words across the screen the whole time how to make fluffy eggs how to cook shrimp etc. it was the strangest thing …. They’re gone now I checked the video again but so strange
Great stream even on repeat! Wicked helpful ❤ thank you again

I didn't film it:(
Thanks Lindsay! So fun painting with you!💕
You are so welcome!
I always enjoy your live videos, thanks Lindsay!
You are so welcome!
I really loved the landscape, I like the sketchy look where the marker didn’t blend out. The rocks are turning out super also.
Enjoyed this live stream! Love the drinks project! Would love to see this in Critique Club! I know you haven't recorded it but love it! Thank you and appreciated!❤❤💘
I agree completely! As soon as I saw this picture in the video I quickly went to Critique Club to see if it was there!

Please do some more live streams they are great and I always learn from your yt channel your amazing UA-camr artist and crafter teacher! Happy Friday!
Such a fun stream! I’m always drawn to the watercolor markers. I have Tombows that I never use. I should try some of these paintings!
You should!

Hello! Lindsay. Thank you for your video.💞.❤.
You are so welcome!
Very fun video. Interesting watercolor product. The salt was amazing. I wonder if you can use the technique to create hydrangea bloom clusters.
Yes you can!
Great Live! Thank you so much!
Glad you enjoyed it!
HI, I love your demo, especially like the salt effect! I wonder if you could share what paper you are using? Thank you
I don't remember
Thank you as always Lindsay!

I paid $88 at Blick online. I don't know how the price differs in-store.

They are supposed to be. I'd like pigment info tho.
QUESTION: Lindsay, have you ever used the the TOMBO water markers? I really love the nibs, they actually feel like a rubbery tip, and they don't frizz a break apart like normal fiber tips..
Yes, I have lots of Tombows, some 2nd hand and they last very well. They aren't lightfast but they are wonderful quality!
Can you turn the nib around in these markers like some of the alcohol markers? Just wondering! Love the lives! Always fun to see how media I don’t own is used! Thanks Lindsay! Enjoy your well deserved sunshine!
I don't know. I
When one runs dry I'll try it. Im thinking probably not if they haven't marketed it that way.
Have you used the Amazon basics watercolor markers? Similar to Tombows but way more affordable! I love to use those to paint/sketch in bed.
I havent

The pitt markers are India ink and permanent when dry.
@@thefrugalcrafter ah thanks.
Please let us know when Michaels posts the class for registration
Will do!
Hi, can you use just the Faber Castell pencils
Thanks, Lindsay!
These are nice, a change of pace in supplies.
I like the KOI watercolour brush markers, ecoline is ok also and there refillable
Very helpful! Thanks 😊
Glad it was helpful!
that was really fun, thanks for the stream
Glad you enjoyed!
wow.. i loved this so much.. i went to order the markers, but here in canada, they are 183.00 for 30.. so that's a no go for me..
You could try a few colors open stock instead of a set. I waited til the price dropped to buy.
I am watching the replay missed the live. There are moments where I’m reading the chat and try to chime in 😂😂😂😂
Great Stream! Loved the markers!!
Thanks for coming
Hi thank you. Do they mix on the paper?
Yes they do if you have a well sized watercolor paper.
Beautiful watercolor
Thank you so much 😀

Most are 3, a few are 2 and no one's. I'd check their website and look at their chart. You van just buy the colors You want
@@thefrugalcrafter Thank you for this information. Makes me more willing to get them knowing this.
Beautiful 🥰❤️
Beautiful !
That’s is beautiful
Thanks!
QUESTION hi I am from Australia I was given a large box F. C water colour pencils, what is the easiest way to use them?
Color with them and then use a wet brush to spread the pigment.
@@thefrugalcrafter thank u 💓
I saw Jennifer's video. Definitely silly. Could you imagine doing that. Lol very pretty hyacinth.
thanks lin

Anyone have a case that could hold these markers because they are very large diameter-wont fit typical pencil case.
Yes, you need one fir alcohol markers: amzn.to/3t7bk4y
Why do all the chapter titles have to do with shrimp?
Huh? I have no idea

I think the blues look the same because you accidentally mixed them up
