So he did "nice" things for women he wanted to sleep with, and when they didn't reciprocate, he got upset. I feel badly for him, as it seems like he's maybe not very good at social cues? He reminds me of a man who used to come into the store where I was a manager and follow female employees around, talking to them. He genuinely didn't understand why they were upset. I sat and talked with him for about an hour, explaining to him that they are there to work, and they don't know him nor his intentions, so he was making them uncomfortable. It took the entire hour of conversation for him to reach the conclusion that it was appropriate for him to say hello and how are you, and then leave it at that. There are some people who, for whatever reason, just don't intuit or naturally understand the social norms that most of us take for granted.
That said, although I do feel kind of badly for this guy, his take is awful and disgusting. He really needs to do some deep self-reflection, probably guided by a therapist, to do better.
