Just to be clear, informing as a transwoman, but sex in prisons is almost NEVER fully consensual. As someone with experience with the prison system, almost all sex in prison is rape. It's not like teens in a small town with nothing better to do, it's completely different. Power dynamics are not equal in prison populations and you don't get to choose to leave whatever situation you're in. The officers are often unsympathetic, and in some cases ridicule victims who come forward. Please don't make prison rape out to be something that just happens, it's not true.

Ok, it's, yes and? Just because it's a human social constructs doesn't mean it's doesn't exist or that it's always a bad thing. Not all social constructs are bad. Although being trans is not only social construct it's mostly a biological phenomenon in humans related to psychology due to pre natal hormones making someone's sexual orientation and wether they're trans or not.
I'd say gender roles are way more social constructs than gender identity. Gender identity and the natural phenomenon of being transgender existed since the start of humanity just like homosexuality, bisexuality and heterosexuality. There's proof of it through many cultures throughout time.
Gender roles are the actual regressive and repressive one not gender identity.

I came out as trans (ftm) about 10 years ago now and unfortunately I haven’t been able to medically transition because of financial issues and medical issues but finding both of y’all’s channels on UA-cam (plus others of course lol) has gotten me through some really rough times. I just want to genuinely thank both of you for your positivity, humor, and giving all of us a place to feel like we aren’t alone in the world!! Y’all are amazing! On a good note though, I am finally(hopefully) about to start hrt within the next couple of months and I absolutely cannot wait!! Just a quick rant on why I think participation trophies are good. All kid's have different strengths and for a lot of kids participating in sports, especially when they know they aren't good at it or something, can be really anxiety-inducing. It would be a win in itself for a lot of those kids to even try and win. Same way when giving like English presentations (at least in England), you pretty much pass just for saying it. I wish they further extended this to attendance awards though and included kids who were like never late and stuff.
