- This is the iPhone 15 Plus, the larger version of what Apple considers as New Camera. New Design. Newphoria, and yeah, we go through that final term a bit in our base iPhone 15 review. The thing is, to call this just a blown-up version of that phone would be kind of an oversimplification in most ways. No company goes through the extent of manufacturing two variants of something unless they both serve a different market, and this phone is the perfect example of that. It was the right decision.
Excellent display, battery and cameras.
Was thinking between 15 and 15 plus but I was thinking of getting the 15 plus but only concern is how big is it, I like using most of the time one hand when scrolling with my phone and stuff. I have an iPhone 11 so I wonder how big of a difference that could be

I like bigger screens, so I got the 15 plus. But it's not bad at all. I also have big hands so the 1 hand thing isn't bad

@@kramshiron in France, 1119€ for this phone. I’m using a 13 Pro and an Android daily. Most iPhone users buy an iPhone, not a smartphone. I would never buy a 60hz that price in 2023 but at the end of the day, it’s not my money😅
Well not for all. I have poco x4 gt which has a 144hz display but I still use 60hz for better battery life. I do have a 144hz monitor for gaming. For me I don't care about the refresh rate on a phone. Dont think I am defending Apple, I am an Android lover through and through.😅

upgraded from 8Plus to the 15Plus. No regrets especially with that 2x zoom that i do use more compared to 3x zoom.

I have no issues with iPhone 15 plus. Loving it since the first day i got it. 60hz isn't a deal breaker for me personally as i prefer a better battery life any day
I upgraded from the 13 pro to this and it’s been pretty good. I can’t say I have regrets. The 60hz is admittedly jarring on some apps and I don’t really prefer size as much BUT tbh battery life makes up for any complaints I have. Best battery life I’ve ever experienced in my own personal use so I’m pleased. Camera is a clear upgrade too,I haven’t taken a picture that isn’t an obvious upgrade over my 13 pro so no regrets. OH and before I forget speakers are another plus for me and these speakers are another very clear upgrade.
Thank you for sharing this. I was just contemplating if I should upgrade from my iPhone 13 Pro. This sealed the deal for me.

Watched right on my green variant iPhone 15 plus. I agree this years base model 15s are packing a punch. I am so glad I got the 15 plus over the pro max.

@@siddharth_chatterjeeshouldn’t it be? I mean, the Plus is the sweet spot for those who are used to 6.5 inch android phones and wanting to switch to the latest iPhone but not willing to break the bank.
It might be more comparable to the 14 Pro Max, but still, the 14PM is around 150 bucks more expensive in my country. And the main camera is the same, minus the telephoto lens, 120Hz, and stainless steel frame.
Instead, you’re getting brighter display, dynamic island, same SoC, better battery life, USB-C, and more colorful options (colors are subjective tho).
@@abhinavkhadka7969 but the pro max has more longevity and that's a fact. Any vanilla model or even the plus versions don't last too long. Pros' and Pro Maxs' are built to last way longer

I have the 15 plus and I can honestly say it has been a very good phone and the battery life has been better than I thought. I will say the gripe I still do have is using a 60Hz panel in 2023 is now like...come on Apple stop being so tight and give us 120Hz even if it was the panel from the 13 pro's and have heard already that Apple is STILL going to use 60Hz in 2024 which is a disgrace in my opinion even if the avergae consumer doesn't really care it would be nice to have. Having USB-C is a nice welcome (FINALLY) and only using 1 wire for most of my electronic needs but still dissappointed it's 2.0 speeds. Having the 2x on the main sensor is another welcome edtion now that you can zoom in 2x...yes its going to be a 12MP photo but still gets a nice result.
The usb 2 speeds on regular 15 is because it use a16 and it doesn’t have an usb c controller like the A17Pro. Not that I defend Apple here but I was very angry at Apple until I found that out. So I’m assuming the A18 for regular iPhone 16 models will have an usb c controller and the speeds will probably improve if Apple doesn’t limit it software wise

I agree soo much because I brought it for myself as a Christmas gift a week before Christmas and this phone is so amazing but yet super expensive but worth it I love big phones and this 15plus is so great

I want a decent large screen, long battery life, customisability, minimum 6 years of os and security updates, decent resale value.
I'm happy with 60hz for the battery advantage. I'm using an android 60hz oled and the 15 plus screen looks so much better. I'm not the sort of person who is continually scrolling up and down fast_ so 120hz isn't as noticeable for me. I listen to audio a lot and the 15plua has a longer audio battery life than the others. Easy choice, and that's from a long term android user.
I'm on android 13 and it's fallen behind for deep, integrated personalisation that I want compared to iOS. My android phone only got 3 years of updates, os and security. So, iPhone 15 plus is the obvious choice.
My new iPhone 15 Plus is so great! Definitely no regrets about buying it, since it's such an upgrade from my old iPhone X.
What upgrade 😂.it has nothing new.60 hrz display aluminum body (which is actually a downgrade),no always on display,no 5x camera.just trying to justify your buy🤣

I agree with your assessment. Your review was great. Thank you for helping with my decision. I wasn’t sure what to pick pro max or plus. The plus is definitely more than enough for a non creator like me but I can use for work. If my current 3rd generation SE can handle what I currently do this plus will be way more than an upgrade. One of the best reviews for the iphone 15 plus....I own this phone and it's really one of the best mod range iphones made by Apple. The only take I have against it is for its price, there's no excuse for not having a minimum of 90 Hertz display

I’m deciding between the 15 and 15 Plus. I do love the bigger screen, but I have very small hands and I’m worried reaching up to the Dynamic Island on the Plus is going to be annoying.
I currently have the 13 Pro (I slipped on ice yesterday and smashed my screen). Will I heavily nocitce going from 120hz to 60hz? Should I just swing for the Pro? I wasn’t planning on upgrading until the 2024 iPhones drop, but I didn’t expect to smash my screen.
Buy the 15 plus man.( It has more battery life and bigger screen than the 15 )
I would not get the 15 pro,battery on it is terrible,I have seen a huge amount of videos on the battery tests,the 15 pro is very poor. The 15 plus is a much better option, trust me once you start using the 15 plus after a few days,you will completely forget about 120hz pro motion, you will just enjoy and use this phone as normal. Trust me the iPhone 15 plus is a great phone.
I had a 13 pro before this, and always was on battery saver so I never ever had on pro motion. There was a carrier promo so I got the 15 plus and I love it. The battery life is STELLAR and it’s significantly lighter than my old phone. No regrets

First time Apple user , ive got 15 plus and i love it, battery is really good
I have the 15 plus in blue and my only gripe with it is the color. It love the matt finish on the back, bur my girlfriend has the pink version and it is way nicer. The blue is to subtle, you hardly notice it. The pink is also subtle but clearly there. I don't know why the blue didn't get the same treatment. 20% more color and it would be a homerun.
Same thought. 🥹 I want the pink one but it was out of stock so decided to get blue instead of yellow (only color left in the store that time) I asked my 3-year-old son what color my phone is and he said “white” huhu

My question is do you get used to the dynamic island popping in between while watching vidoes or doing some stuff ? Coming from iPhone 13
I know it’s been 2 months, but as someone who also came from an iPhone 13, you do get used to it in the same way we got used to the notch, even forgetting it was even there until something popped up on it.
Fantastic review - I am a 15 Pro Max user but I think 15 Plus is best suited for most people who prefer iPhone!
I honestly can't believe how good the battery is on the 15 plus.
I have this phone. I had the 13 pro max. I absolutely love it & have no regrets. Camera way better, and the 60 hz really isn’t a big deal.

Excellent review and this is my choice of any iPhone 15 model. Most people only get the Pro or Pro Max to flex and don't use all the Pro model features. I'm ready to see the next SE model. Matte Black is 5he way to go.
I don't need all the pro features, I just cannot go back to a 60hz display. That is the dealbreaker for me.

The plus models have always been my favourite
I swapped from the 15pro to the 15 plus - I wanted best battery and bigger screen. Holy s**tballs, I don’t regret it. It took me a day to forget that I don’t have ProMotion 120htz and even now I pick up this beast of a phone and go “ohhhh so smooth…wait…” and realise no, it’s still 60htz. iOS is just so smooth on this thing I don’t notice nor miss the refresh. The cameras are amazing, even without the third lens, and the weight is sooooo much nicer than the pro max models. The black (which I have as I didn’t like the pastels) looks like a pro phone - I actually compared it to the black 15 pro in store and - it looks better and more “pro” than the actual pro model. The battery is stellar and lasts me all day and then some - and now having the island I feel like I have the latest and greatest - but paid so much less. This phone is a beast and I’m LOVING it. Best phone Apple’s released in literally years, since the introduction of the X.
Hi mate! I just can’t decide between 15 plus or 15 pro. And I think with you , I found the perfect comment . I don’t play games or take many photos ( the casual ones for instagram for example) so maybe I should pick plus for extra battery?

Jaime, You can watch UA-cam in a window natively on iOS without the browser.
Insead of these features people should buy phones for longetivity...at least for 5-6 years...thats how we would push these companies to deliver good phone with updates.

Excellent review! iPhone 15 and 15plus will serve 95% of users well. The iPhone Pro is a show-off for most people, and only people who use the camera a lot and want to create videos will appreciate the Pro models. I have tested many people around me, and no one sees the difference between a 60Hz and 120Hz refresh rate. In other words, the Pro models are mostly ashow-off for most people.
I just got my iPhone 15 plus and am still discovering all it can do. One thing I keep wondering about all phones, is why do these companies keep making them look and feel so nice when people are just going to put a case on it and cover it up?

I saw all the colors of the regular 15 in a store, and except for the black all the others are absolutely horrible. It even discouraged me from buying and holding off to get the Pro

@@Pocketnowreally? Just look back to as recent as the 13, those deep green and blue and red colors were stunning in my opinion, the washed out pastel colors are nothing compared to that. But, it's a matter of taste

I need this for work and some casual social media work and other things ft zoom interviews and apps for my work and i can also use it with my macbook pro. If you want to do gaming or something else do pc and android

I have the 13 mini. It is my company phone and lease is ending up. I am considering the 15 plus for the larger screen and better batterylife. An android is not an option. I switched in 2016 with the first SE to Apple and there has never been any problems with iphones. Can not say the same from the phones I had before….
I think the iPhone 15 plus is a great phone, and I like the fact that apple finally "shortened" the distance between basic and pro. The 60 Hz are a bit of a bummer, I mean I can live with them but for 900 dollars in 2023?! I don't know...
Idk whether to go for the iPhone 15 Pro Max or the iPhone 15 Plus i currently have an android phone so I'm looking to upgrade to Apple 😅 for the very first time battery life and camera quality mean A LOT to me by the end of the day coming back from university with my android I always end up with 10% I don't know if that's something but yh 🤷🏾♀️
All this phone needs is a 90hz panel. Otherwise it’s great for the average user. Love the colours
A key take away is the light weight of this phone. Noticeably lighter than the Pro Max and dramatically lighter than the 13 Pro Max with a screen that is twice as bright for outdoor use like cycling GPS. Just ordered mine today!

Ip15+ , the battery is good. I have android phone as second phone & has 120hz refresh rate, i mean Apple's 60hz refresh rate still good and smooth imo.
If you can afford it just go with the pro max, you won't feel the need to upgrade for a couple years while the plus may leave you with feeling of wanting a little bit more as newer phones come out
I usually only get the pro max but this year I got the plus for the pink color. I wish the camera was a little better but it’s not horrible. If they ever make the pro max in pink It will be perfect.
That's what I want. I'm trying to decide between getting the 15/15 plus or the pro phone now that I'm upgrading from my 12 mini. Im doing more photos and videos now and want a workhorse but the colors of the Pros leave much to be desired. I know I can put a case over it but still. It's just not the same.

I couldn’t see myself getting the 15 plus after having the 14 pro bc I felt like I would have been downgrading not having a 120 ghz screen and not having the always on display. And if I didn’t upgrade to the 15 pro max I wouldn’t have gotten the action button another thing I would’ve had to sacrifice. Getting the 15 plus just doesn’t make sense if you had the 14 pro last year imo.

Hey thanks for the video but I really really hate they got rid of the physical sim and only have ESM here in America. It means if you're an active person, you'll never buy this phone as a runner on the weekends. I do a nice long run so before I would just take it swap it out and stick it in my iPhone SE 2022 and go for a run but now that's not possible. And here's the best part Apple's done nothing with that space that the use SIM card used to be. It's just there's a box there. It's just there's a placeholder so Apple got rid of something and they're not even using that spot for anything so just like apple
Please, how does an ESIM affect an active person? What are the limitations of the ESim ,? I thought it had more advantages over the physical sim
@@danieludoh2961 i’m a runner and also active another sports and so I have a iPhone 13 mini that I use when I’m going for my long runs on the weekend so it’s easy just to swap out my Sim from my Galaxy phone and put it in the 13 mini that way if I twist an ankle or something, you know Ana 8 to 10 mile runI can get help I can’t carry my galaxy phone as it’s quite a bit larger so that’s why physical Sim is so much easier. It’s also why I’ll be keeping my iPhone 13 mini for quite a while.

@@xcidgaf I’ve used phones with both 120hz and 60hz to me it’s not the big of a issue I’ve put a 15 pro max on 120hz and a iPhone 15 right next to each other the 120hz display looks faster and smoother but if u are not using them right next to each other you won’t notice the difference
