I have a 235 with a backhoe on the way and was wondering what the frame mount was all about. This is a good simple explanation, and looks like a big improvement from the 3point mounted ones!

Easy peazy! The backhoe on my Massey Ferguson is usually simple to remove, but reinstalling can be easy or a bear, depending on the mood of the backhoe that day!
Does your Massey have pretty much the same setup?
@@Mallard5plus1Farmhouse No, not all. It has two cradles that it has to sit in. It can be difficult to line the tractor up with the backhoe, then it has to be tilted back to line up with the upper arms, then the pins installed. Some days its very easy, some days it ain't!! 🙂 Perhaps this spring I will put out a video on the installation.

Can you mount the backhoe while leaving the quick hitch on the tractor?
I don't have this tractor anymore Mike but I'm going to say no. I remember the frame of the backhoe barely having enough room to clear the 3 point arms
