Hank, that was a huge hole you and Tony dug for the swimming pool. Would love to see the finished product once the pool is completed. I have never worked with two tractors running and it obviously takes some serious coordination to do it safely. Enjoyed your video as always.

Yeah Terry, it was a fun dig. Tony will be posting the finished product on his channel. He has time lapsed the whole thing. It's gonna be incredible. He has done the whole pool install himself. I was just a small.part of it. He is doing the decking now and then just a few things to wrap up and he'll be done. Working in 100* heat slows you down a tad. Lol.

Nice job you two did working with each other. Having two tractors working the same site is hard to do if you don't get a plan first! Have a good weekend Hank!!

Good demo on using two tractors . With backhoes sticking out and tractors working close together you both need too really focus as you said . Good team work . 👍

You guys worked well together. What i call team work. Kinda like playing an instrument in the band, you rely on others in the band to make music. That Tony is a seasoned operator too.

As a bass player in a band, I can relate to that comment. And yes I learned a lot from Tony. 👍

Working with two tractors is fun! Dad and I can get a lot of work completed when both tractors are going. You are correct, communication is the key. I also realize my dad is 73 and sometimes is in his own little world. So, dad always gets the right of way and I work around him. Overall, the system has worked out well. The more we work together, the more proficient we have become. One of the bigger challenges we have is when the grandkids/nephews are their helping us, we both move really slow because those kids are fast and you never know where they are going next. They are actually really helpful, but since they didn't grow up around farm, they don't always understand the dangers. Yet, we all have learned a lot and as we work together more, we are getting better at working as a team. Great video!

That's a good point about different help. People don't realize how important chemistry is in a work environment. Look at loggers and other heavy equipment/construction jobs where people need to know what everyone else is doing. In the military we called it "S.A." situational awareness.

That must have been a blast working as a team to dig that pool with Tony! That is great generosity to give back. I really enjoy Jay's channel and I am glad for him! He will do good use of that product with various projects he tackles including small engines. You made a good point about non-verbal communication on a worksite. The larger backhoe is a beast! Has Tony confirmed if the backhoe was faster or was that only an operator thing? Thanks!

I appreciate the comment Joe. Teamwork is huge. Tony is waaaaayyy better operator than I am. He taught me a lot

Nice vid and way to go Homestead Jay. I thought the split screen was the new thing and I was like, "meh, that's ok". You really did get some good work done. Bring that compact over and clean up my pond edges (pretty please)

Good video. I work many times alongside my buddy Hector. He is on his Caterpillar and I'm on my Tractor. A customer contacted me 3 weeks ago saying he had sinkholes in his back yard. After further investigation we found that a realtor sold him a house with a swimming pool in the backyard that had been filled with chunks of an entire driveway . Covered with dirt and grass planted over it. After 1 year sinkholes developed. You could start to see the top blue edge of the pool. We dug the entire pool up. 4 large dumpsters. We worked together very well but you have to be watchful to stay out of the way of the loader . Mainly for 2 reasons. 1 his vision is limited. 2 his machine weighs 9,000 lbs. 😜 he can run over you. The key to our working relationship is let him lead and stay out of his way.
Now, far as the give aways, Hank I am collecting hundred dollar Bill's. Keep me in mind on your next quest. Mark. 🤓

Your little rookie loads haha. I was noticing how full Tony's bucket was and yours was like a quarter full, lol
When on new machines it's hard to Gage just how much you have in those buckets. I know on my loader I have taken a load of dirt to dump it only to find nothing was in it, lol.now you can laugh at me Hank. Have a great day buddy
