About ten years ago I saw George Weah at a supermarket car park in Surrey. He did not know me, yet he gave me a cheery wave and shouted "hello" . Class man. I remember his magnificent goal against Verona at the San Siro in 1996. My late father was having lunch whilst watching the game and when Weah ran the whole length of the pitch to score, my dad dropped his plate on the floor ! One of the best goals I have ever seen. Fabulous player, great man !!
