In Greece, we have Puskas as a Legend too! He lived many years in Greece and he managed many Greek teams (Especially Panathinaikos on 70's)! My mom when was a child with her parents (My grandma and grandpa), used to meet him in a traditional bakery in Athens! Just because he lived in Greece! He was a real gentleman, as they have spoken to me, about Puskas!

My grandpa began watching/hearing the World Cup matches since 1950. He would always tell me that within a span of 20-30 years, you had players like Puskas, Beckenbauer, Zoff, Pele, Bobby Moore, Cryuff, and Garrincha. All of these guys were considered as football legends in the game

Course he had a long distinguished career at Real Madrid. I didn't know of his playing for Spain in 1962. Did Real team mate di Stefano also play for them at this time? In his 1965 book Soccer Science, England and Arsenal's George Eastham described Puskas as the greatest goalscorer he'd ever seen, better even than Pele.
