Problem is, basketball is performed in a noisy environment as is. Tennis isn't, so every noise that happens is much more influential of the play.
@@oNtuobAwoH so get good or don't play
@@Garvin285 It's called sports etiquette. There are certain things you are not suppose to to do. Rafa is a top 3 Tennis player of all time, so no need to get better. the umpire should have warned his opponent because that is his job! Rafa was right!
@@Garvin285lets apply your logic to chess as well while we're at it.
insane that he was so successful letting someone tapping on the ground get in his head so much
Even though nadal has got away with some things in the past re time violations, he’s completely right here. This is unsporting and also maybe classed as hindrance of some kind.
These tennis players gets distracted by the smallest of sounds or movement 😂😂
Pros are like that
inwish i could start from Pro ... ithen i would have reached Pro level too
When they're facing huge pressure to win and when they bare the responsibility to win the match at any cost, even the most little thing would definitely frustrate.
That shows how badly Rafa wants to win, maybe it just his way
None of you clowns play tennis ever before or probably golf. It’s so obvious when you make these ridiculous comments. Get up off the couch and go play some sports for once in your life. Maybe you’ll realize what it’s like.
Nadal has some crazy OCD rituals both before and during play. That is why he gets so rattled at anything interrupting his serve routine
Nadal is him
Joke of a sport, he's tapping his racket on the floor i can't perform 😭😭😭😭😭
So what's the real sport??? Fucking American Tackle/fOoTbAlL?
This and golf bicching is one of the funniest baby boo stuff that's out there 😂
Thank you
It is not the sport but the primadonnas who play it.
Yeah I guess you all really have the precision of those players to make that kind of comment.
It's not about whether or not they can do ok.
It's whether or not they can do their best and noise during their serve mechanic will impede that.
In case you haven't noticed, the public is completely quiet during all this. The fact that a seasoned player play around the rules by smacking is racket to rattle the opponent is just not fair play and shouldn't be tolerated even if the inconcenienve is not a big one.
Shouldn’t be allowed. Not sure why he didn’t stop it
Of course it should be allowed
Then it shouldn't be allowed to take forever to serve, like Rafa used to do.
@@mortenkittelsen1993why? It’s a way of cheating, not fair.
@@Rodolfo_elgolfo how’s it cheating?
McEnroe would have crossed the court and shoved that racket right where the sun doesn't shine. 😂
So weird.
Refs and Umpires need to be replaced.
Either they are blind or can't hear
… or they are being rewarded .. covertly of course ….🤔🤔
IMO
The referee’s argument is so weak. The fact you do something each time Nadal serves doesn’t make it right.
That small noise makes you play bad? Not a very good athlete then.
@@snoopyguy21Yeah, I guess that you are a professional athlete to say that
I mean it makes sense hes simply being consistent. If he calls him out for it now when he didnt the entire match up until that point its kind of unfair
And Nadal has to poke his fingers into his ass through his shorts on every point, serve or receive and then smell those same fingers 😂
@@marcosmi1663 That guy is absolutely right. It's not against any rules and if a small tap is enough to break your concentration then your concentration is weak af anyway.
Being a pro athlete, hurts your argument not helps it dumbass.
opponent: I'm not death yet!
I’m sorry I guess I don’t follow tennis as much as I used to ..what was the guy doing that caused the problem? Seriously I missed it.
Hitting the floor with his racket as he was about to serve. Getting in his head and making him mad basically
Yes umpire he has been doing it everytime the whole match! Even more reason to know him hitting the surface with his racket is on purpose everytime rafa serves!
Ah ecco grazie, non avevo capito
Non sarà illegale ma dovrebbe esserlo, disturba il servizio
So why did you wait four sets to complain about it if it bothered so much?
He’s being doing it for every point…. “Yh mate I know and now I’ve had enough of it”
EMOTIONAL DAMAGE 😂😂😂😂
Shopkeeper: "Are you just going to let him get away?" "He's been caught stealing just now!"
Police: "He's been stealing all week Rafa".
"hes been doing it every point" exactly??
ref should've noticed from the FIRST POINT that the loud tapping before the serve IS IN FACT dirty and "interfering tactics"
Why is he bouncing the ball, he's making noise too, why is the opponent not allowed to prepare in the same way as long as he's preparing in the same way every round and not mixing it up, like the ref said, he's been doing that every point, not to disturb but to prepare to receive
@@kova1729 They all do the bounce to start the rhythm of the game. The opponent tapping right before the server throws it off.
@@babidavi6910 the same can be said for the opposition, the bouncing is throwing him off
@@kova1729 It's done in the majority on a player's serve. The opposition is lucky enough when they do that because they're given a tempo and can read the serve rather than just being served. Tapping from elsewhere, especially the opponent, is a distraction on the entire play & should be considered an interference.
He has no reason to be making _any_ sounds while just waiting for the ball. This is why the sideline's "He's been doing it the entire game." defense is being mocked. They never called him out on it in the beginning so they couldn't do it later either. Just defended the disruptive actions.
@@babidavi6910 Should have called it earlier then
Nadal teaching the oppo.. How to be a professional.. 😂
Rafa speaking English sounds just like Fez from That 70's show 😅😅😅😅😅
it was a deliberate attempt to distract Nadal while he was preparing for his serve and the judge should have done something…
Notice how nadal is literally doing his own serve ritual? Why is it not ok for his opponent to do the same useless set of motions?
If server just serves, there is no time for his opponent to respond.
Plus what kind of pro is so bad at their sport that noise makes them terrible?
@@Seldomheardaboutone is meant to distract, one is meant to set up. No matter Nadal's "rituals", there will be ample time for his opponent to react to his shot. In contrast, his opponent's "ritual" could distract him subconsciously before he's able to react, adjust, and stop himself from hitting the ball.
@@simanolastname2399 so you are dishonest? If one guy needs to setup, why do you automatically assume the other guy is being distracting?
Why wouldn’t you call both- “setting up”?
Again, it’s just bad debate mate.
@@Seldomheardabout I am assuming the guy is being intentionally distracting because, as said in the video, he's been doing this the entire set. Are you a moron?
Smacking your racket on the court is not a ritual it’s a deliberate distraction, you obviously don’t play tennis because serving requires a lot of concentration….
When you’re on the stuff it makes you short-tempered and prickly
Then again his opponent had to watch Nadal, scratch his arse and sniff it every serve. 😂
The most unbelievable thing is that Nadal got so mad he decided to play the whole next point with backhand spin and won the point... Most talented player I've ever seen when he got angry.
It’s not normal
Im Guessing rafa was losing or it was close? If hes winning he wouldnt care
SO if i slap the empire since the start of the match.. its ok?
I wouldn’t, the empire strikes back
“No! That’s not true. That’s impossible!”

If you want absolute silence while playing tennis wear ear defenders.
Shut up
This is like Jason Belmonte squeezing his water bottle when Sean Rash was bowling against him
Brutal, I'm with Raf. Have some respect!
The discipline it took to NOT serve "faults" at the opponent's head until he stopped fucking around . . . .
You're fucking PROFESSIONALS! In my HUMBLE opinion, you should be focused enough to be able to deal with any distractions that may arise. Thats the whole point of smack talk and trying to get into your opponent's head and rattle their cage.
For as long as Nadal has played you wouldn't think that would even bother him
What is wrong with what opponent is doing? Rafa has so many ticks and quirks that his opponent was trying to take him off his game and concentration.

Moooom, hes making too much noise and now he wont stop looking at me 😂
Imagine being Jing Yuan though. You've slept like a log, gone through your slow and comfortable morning routine and then get a report that your friends accidentally turned one of your dead friends into a lightning dragon monster.
Jing Yuan: "...WTF?!"
How can the umpire recognized that he is been doing it the whole match and he has not said anything about it? Obviously making unnecessary noise when your opponent is focused on executing a shot is a hindrance. He is a cheater and the umpire is not doing his job!
in other sports you're told to block all the noises, even in pickleball. in tennis, shit like this happens 💀
Football?
Not in a men's sport. 😂
Bro, they literally say he's been doing it the whole time. What do you mean "it happens?"
"Yeah, uh, sorry, my bad, shit like this happens on every single serve of yours."
