Looking forward to the gravel garden 😍 Those ferns were eyewatering! On the moth front, it's unlikely you'd see the moths whose larvae eat your jumpers, they rarely venture into the light and are only 5mm long. Most of the little ones you see, with the white head are pantry moths 😁
Well done on your donation, it's a hideous situation, distressing to see more and more horror every day, but thats nothing compared to the living hell for people on the ground. So wish I lived nearby. Wild ferns grow in the hundreds in my garden I would happily share some. I adore them
I found you through Ally at Little Drops of Wonderful etc. I am so glad!!! I love your easy laid back vlogging style. I have lived in Exeter for the last 7 years after immigrating from South Africa.
Thanks for the laugh. Keep pushing the boundaries. I think your robot hoover will ‘know’ not to fall down the stairs. Mine sensed when there was a step. Good luck😊
It was you or that moth. You did the right thing. Your little tidy made such a difference! Sometimes we forget how much good these little jobs do and often they take much less time than we think they will which balances quite nicely with the jobs that take much longer (all of the garden jobs)! Ok, I'm off to clean the inside of as many of my windows as I can get to before the man comes to do the outside and then a big afternoon of gardening ahead of me I think! I'd much prefer to the bookstore and browse the afternoon away but there we have it. 😘
I love my robo vac - I have it set up on a schedule and let it do its thing. I do ask my husband to empty it and clean it as necessary. I especially love that it fits under beds and couches - no more shoving furniture around to vacuum the dust bunnies. What is happening in Gaza and Ukraine breaks my heart. It's so brutal. I sound a little sophomoric, but I just want a world with more empathy, more recognition of the rights of all humans, and less selfish rage. It really doesn't take much effort to be kind.
Thank you for donating for MAP - they do amazing work. My heart is breaking. I've lost contact with my friends in Gaza...no idea if they are dead or alive...and the world just watches.
When you need new plants ask friends and neighbors, they probably need to divide or get rid of overgrown plants. You'd be helping them and know they grow well in your area, and save$$😊
I’m often swapping plants with two of my neighbours. It’s great! But weirdly what works for us all is totally different. I can’t grow courgettes very well and they struggle with stipa for example.
Yes to skipping, running, dancing etc...I still do all of that. I did a very fast walk up steep hills last week, my calf muscles were sore for 5 days, I was hobbling when first out of bed xx
Gayna, thanks for the lovely video….your ferns will grow in beautifully. Can’t wait to see the robot Hoover when it arrives. And yay to UA-cam for finally fixing the glitch. Gaza….😢😢😢 ❤
The breakfast toast was just perfect for me 👍 My goodness it’s a wonder they sell any Ferns at that price next year yours will have grown on 👍 Not long now till your 🐓🐓🐓🐓 arrive I hope you vlog them arriving will miss you in June
I'm having my breakfast watching you ... a soft boiled egg and soliders, yum! I have the same every week day. 🐔 I love the pew, I suppose you want to keep out of the weather, is there anywhere near 'The Barn ' you can keep it? I'm having an issue with a pesky fox at the moment, he keeps digging a deep hole in the middle of my lawn, I fill it in, he digs it out again, I'm fed up with this game! 😤😤😵
Couldn’t believe the prices on the large ferns! We bought a couple of small ones for a very shady corner spot a couple of years ago and they’ve grown nice and big so your smaller ones will definitely catch up! The Gaza situation is certainly a very hard watch on tv and so very upsetting. We should all try and do something, however small. Love WW xx
Idea for the church bench : would it fit along the low wall to the right when you walk out of the door, where you currently have a couple of lower plants and two trees in pots? 19:06
I think it’s too long as the wall curves there. And it wouldn’t be weather protected. I’m considering painting it in out door paint and having it around by the green house.
I was just thinking, “that’s what I like about Gayna, she’s true to herself” when you told us about the podcaster! 😂 That toast was just how I like it. Yep, what more can we do other than send our money … 😢
Your use it or lose it comment resonated with me. It is something my mother always said. I am 55 and on Tuesday I am bathing with an elephant in Bali. The what if’s are creeping in atm. Have you thought about FB marketplace for your ferns? Someone might be dividing theirs up.
Gaynor l have just watched you at the garden centre the price of plants is atrocious. I have loads of Houttuynia Cordata. You are welcome to is such a pretty plant with lots of ground cover . I live near Bristol on the south Glos side.4 miles from Cribbs Causeway If you want any you are welcome to
It’s truly awful what is going on in the Middle East. From the horrors that happened in Israel to their response. If only the leaders of Iran cared about their people as much as we do. ❤
I have a robot vacuum. And they are really not that good. Maybe it will be different for you. Love your home and gardens. Let me say that I am 76 and not able to do all those crazy kid things due to a hip replacement gone bad. Sometimes we want to do kid things but our bodies are no longer able to 😢
Very true so I’m doing it while I can though the ability is wearing off! I’m not expecting miracles from this little robot, just a little help where I need it. 🤞
The links are there!!! I know just how you felt, my Instagram account is on the fritz and I can't seem to get it back. The people I was following have disappeared, I hope they're all right!
Hi Gayna, thank you for your vlogs, I have thoroughly enjoyed them. I found you after a mention from Ali …. Little Drops of Wonderful and This Little Wonderful Life….. I’m in Tipperary MidWest Ireland. 👋🏻
Hurrah for the links!! Btw - I went off to find Elaine Boddy's sourdough technique and it's brilliant. Haven't been brave enough to try the bake from cold yet (have a big cast iron pot rather than a skinny enamel one) but everything else has worked superbly. Thank you for the recommendation! Xx
Well you are my girl crush and I wish we were neighbours and could swap plant seeds, moan about weeding and show off our new knitting projects. My two best friends are on the Wirral and in Lichfield so miles away.
Lovely to see you donating to Palestine. Since I was 16 and at College I have supported Palestine. These people deserve their land. Brakes my heart seeing whats happening their. Xx

I still have quite a way to go before the gravel garden is presentable. I wish there were more than one of me!
Happy that your link problem finally got sorted!
Had a really good laugh at your sillies jumping around and making faces! 😅 Thank you for being you 🥰
At 75 I ride my huge horse almost every day..I tell all of my friends never to stop, too!
Geraniums are totally wonderful!
I agree!
I have ferns all over my garden, Gayna. They just spread themselves around and come back every year. I love them, in amongst the flowers.
Dear Gayna. Thank you for talking about the terrible situation in Gaza, and for all the Palestinians! 💔
The contrast to our lives is striking...
It’s hard to wrap one’s head around what anyone in their circumstances are going through.

Good news with UA-cam and your outdoor area looks lovely 😊
Yorkshire pudding link working, yippeee 😀👍
I’m so happy! It’s been a bit of a pain in the bum getting it sorted. Hurrah for the UA-cam boffins 🥰

I really need to do my inside windows too. Maybe I’ll pretend I am you and crack on with them. X

It’s utterly horrifying. I am so sorry, you must be worried sick. X
Thank you for your donation to Medical Aid for Gaza and speaking about it 🙂

You are a sweetheart, Ramya x

I pressed send too quickly 😅 thank you for another lovely vlog and yay for links!
I think it’s too long as the wall curves there. And it wouldn’t be weather protected. I’m considering painting it in out door paint and having it around by the green house.
@talesfromcuckooland that's a great idea I think! Make that area a little outdoors room of your own 😊
Sauvignon blanc is my favourite!

I hope elephant bathing went beautifully! I’m feeling more and more protective of my health since my coccyx problem flared up. X

You are such a hard worker!❤
Really enjoying your videos
It’s truly awful what is going on in the Middle East. From the horrors that happened in Israel to their response. If only the leaders of Iran cared about their people as much as we do.
❤
It is horrible knowing that there is such devastation happening on this planet we all live on. We are all humans, why do we have to fight? X

Can you ask the Christmas tree farm for ferns? They may want them gone.
I should have helped myself to them. A few weeks after I filmed this they strummed the whole area 😦🥺
Yes your link for Yorkshire puddings works 😂
The links are there!!! I know just how you felt, my Instagram account is on the fritz and I can't seem to get it back. The people I was following have disappeared, I hope they're all right!

I can’t imagine being someone’s girl crush! I’m thrilled!!
It works 👏
I would have like to see you do some cartwheels. Why doesn't Margo go on walks with you and Bunny?
Better get my tripod out! 🤸♀️ I’ll record the answer about not taking Margo on walks so look out for that tomorrow!
💗🧡♥️ love & Hugs Suze🤗 xxx

It’s just unbelievable. They have been shafted since forever.
It’s just unbelievable. They have been shafted since forever.
Good morning from cold rain sheffield. Knitting corner to corner shawl
It’s been raining here too 🥹
What about the victims in Israel after October 7 2023? What about the abductees still in captivity in Gaza ?
The whole situation is appalling and I don’t begin to understand everything that’s going on bit we have to help where we can one way or another.
