I'm having Frankas problem with Chain of Hearts, they all died, as I was putting the potting mix out into the garden I saw a teeny green speck on the bulb (?) so I repotted it and it has sprouted two leaves. My Chinese Money plant has died....but I have roots forming on a Fiddle Leaf Fig leaf that I popped in water and have two Pothos cuttings in water that have taken root. Your tall cuttings in the greenhouse are an invasive species in New Zealand - careful how you dispose of any leaves etc. Love the gardening sessions! and the life,craft,etc

In Wyoming we had snow yesterday. It's gone today. I haven't polished shoes in years although I still have the polish and brushes somewhere. Acidophilus helps put the good bacteria back (should anyone reading this need first aid for tummy problems). Well done Bill! Exhausted yes, but a great achievement!!
Glad you’re feeling better Cuckoo… oh tissues in the wash are a nightmare! My daughter squirrels her tissues in everything and everywhere!!🫣😂 I’ve been using crushed whelk shells from ‘shell on earth’ to deter the slugs and snails… seems to be working so far! 😘xx

Don't mind the gardening content at all Gayna - in fact I'm gardening too and I'm sure a lot of your other followers are gardening, so it's all good stuff. Just a bit worried about you covering over your seeds with wood and carpet - especially when we could see lots of insects on the surface of your soil. Might they not affect chances of germination? I sow all my seeds in the greenhouse till they produce seedlings, though I know to do that would just add to your workload. Anyway great to see you looking better. You are so appreciated and it's been a delight to watch you every day. xxx
I don’t know! I have woodlove everywhere but they seem to mind their own business and same with the ants. All I know is carrots don’t like to be moved and need to stay wet to germinate. I may go out to move and move the carpet etc… always happy for pointers and tips. Thank you! X
Hi Gayna, I'm pleased that you are feeling so much better today darlin'. Been there and done that and know it's horrid. You're one tough chook though to bounce back so quickly and you're up and at it again. As for should you keep filming your gardening exploits, that's a YES PLEASE from me! I used to have extensive veg, herb and cottage gardens (all grown organically with my own compost) and I adored it. My 4 kids used the veg garden as their personal snacking place lol.... I'd send them up to pick snow peas and 3 made it back to the house, the rest were eaten as they picked! Those were wonderful times...that's a good 30+ years ago now. These days I can't garden anymore as my hands are no good due to an injury 24 years ago that put paid to that (I've come to terms with it so don't worry). So, I just love living vicariously through you when you're out there doing the gardening thing. I know you don't 'like' it... I don't believe that for one minute... but even so, it's so satisfying to till the ground, add your own compost, sow your seeds and seedlings and do all the little things that will ensure their success. I can hear you in my head already though... your talk is not your walk... you're a wonderful gardener... you're doing it and you love the results. Isn't that what it's all about? I adore your gardens, and love the way you have it set out. I know you're wanting to change some things and I'm there for that, cuppa at my elbow, sock knitting on my lap... You just keep doing YOU babe and we'll be here cheering you on and for me here in Oz, living vicariously through all the wonderful things you do...and not just in the garden!

I notice that you're always on the go, busy, busy, feeling guilty if you're not. Please dont do what I did 20 + years ago, I'm suffering with long term health problems now. I say this all with utmost respect for you and love x
You sweet thing! Thank you for caring. I promise I do stop when I need to (as you saw, I stayed in bed most of the day) but I definitely struggle to relax and not feel self imposed guilt when I down tools and there’s still loads to do. It’s a personality flaw, I think 😝

I'm currently bed bound after a hospital stay and 2 blood transfusions and can't even sit propped up for 4 hours without it being too much 😭 perimenopause is no joke! Yes I use houseplant soil from the garden centre. I think all purpose is fine too. X
