Yeah i noticed the safety one bc in my pats rebuild i still have dugger playing in year two and he makes so many plays as opposed to in yours lol. I do hybrid all the time for safety
From what Gutfoxx found a few years back, run block is the only important run block rating since it has a direct counterpart with the block shed rating. The pass block finesse and power ratings directly counter finesse and power move rating
For some positions, it depends on the players archetype. Basically for DE/DT/OLB/DB the archetype matters more. Same goes for OL but pass protector is bad for the oline case.Also for the DB if you want the best of both worlds go with slot if not go with there archetype everything he said in the video is right. Basically if you go against the grain it’s gonna be bad stats. The position can you go against the grain for is MLB/QB/WR/TE with positive results.
What is threshold holds I'm trying to get my wr and DB abilities...my DB is 93 over boosted with 96 zone and 93 man and no abilities?? Scheme fit is man to man but zone arc I'm guessing all Madden settings
I’ve gotten 2 throw power upgrades but it’s much rarer. No speed upgrades at all. I think they balanced speed with more coordinators with speed upgrades. I do see agility and acceleration upgrades but they also feel rarer than last year. I will say that playmaker for WR and speed rush for defensive end feels like the most OP upgrades right now. Speed rush is so much better than it was last year. I’m getting tons of blocking shedding and even power moves with chance for athletic upgrades too. It feel objectively better then power move in every way possible. Run stopper feels trash. Run stopper used to be the way to get an athletic prospect with poor block shed more block shed at the cost losing fitness move upside. Now speed rush at end gives you everything. It feels like the playmaker version of defensive. Slot for corner still feels objectively the best although it feels slightly nerfed this year. Not much but noticeable. More WR I’ve found it best to click playmaker every time until I get to about 96 or 97 deep threat. I get the fastest overall boosts through playmaker. And then on those last few deep threat upgrades that’s when I get insane upgrades all at one time because that’s how the algorithm sets it up. It wants to get you to a certain upside so it bombards you with the best stuff as you get closest to your max rating in an area. This is where you get nice acceleration and agility boosts. Tons of deep route upgrades. Etc. also if you are at the end of upgrading physical WR this is where you get like 4-5 jumping upgrades in one upgrade. Or you are more likely to get strength upgrades or huge stiff arm or trucking boosts. Always remember on those last few upgrades it’s not a bad idea to force quit the game before it auto saves if you don’t like the upgrades. Those are the upgrades where you really want get those athletic stat boosts. Then once you go over your max upgrades you can always change positions to get more. For example if you want your corner to be Athletic make him a RB and click elusive. I’ve found they to be the best odds to get agility change of direction or acceleration. 1-3 points in any of those areas makes a difference. If you have more of a spot corner that blitzes you may want to change him to defensive end to click speed rush. That gets you like 15 points in block shedding and other things like tackle finesse move etc.

Brand new patriots franchise I believe this is his first upgrade point of the season and I got +1 Zone, +1 speed, and +1 man. I have the clip + screenshot if you’d like. I play on ps5 and next gen edition of madden 25

I got a +1 speed to my Kader Kahou but that’s the only one I’ve seen
