Look turn on the pursue for your defensive AI . It'll make big difference for you in the game. Motion your players to see if the defense is lining up in man coverage or zone coverage. Start usering your d line so you could be able cause some type of distribution to the pass. Don't touch any of defensive adjustments for your safeties and corners.

Does anyone know how to send your defenders after the QB? Past Madden's you would click down the R3(Right thumb stick) Now it just makes you switch people. I can't find it in controls and can't believe I haven't seen anyone say anything about it!!
On defense, do you think that the performance and positioning of your AI teammates is synced up to your own user performance? That’s how it seems to be imo

Switch stick sucks and needs to be modified. You should be able to hold L1 and the button of the nearest receiver so that you always click on the player you intend to.
There isn't a setting for the blocking system in general, but there could be a visual setting you have off that could be making it so you can't see the assignments.
i got the game 2 days ago, i made it to the superbowl in mut online today but then i lost by 40 then went on to leave the next two games looking the same, I wanna be better I just dont understand all the audibles and what works for what
For me I start in skill training and mini games defense drills going for gold. Run the defensive formation with my highest OVRs. There's more but it will take too long, and too hard to understand.
I miss the simple game play of the 90’s. I bought Madden 2016 never played it. I just got Madden 25 and it’s not getting g played either. Sure there’s a ton of options that only hard core gamers will remember or use. I’m fed up. Great tutorial though. Makes me realize this game isn’t for me. Not even my tech savvy kids understand this crap.
This is just for players who really care about winning against other good players. Especially in competitive game modes. You can still play casually and in a more simple way

There isn't a setting for the blocking system in general, but there could be a visual setting you have off that could be making it so you can't see the assignments.

Favorites are something you can use, but calling plays by formation works best in our opinion!
Dont think imma touch ncaa ever again unless they say you need certain cards on ncaa for madden
