Thanks for the review! My thoughts on making the review more useful for viewers: - 0-60 seems silly to mention in a luxury car not marketed as a sports car, when it's below 6 seconds. I'd argue it just doesn't matter to people's daily life over the long term. Whiplash is not luxury. - Also, cargo capacity vs. the sportback is less but nobody ever stacks stuff up to the roof. In fact, it's incredible dangerous to do so. The usable space - the depth and width - are the same.
Sure, but it's about prioritizing the most useful information. At that point it would be more useful to mention stopping distance from 60, turning radius, oversteer/understeer metrics, headlight visibility, etc. @@Sumodeadliftsarefake69
The height is super useful if you have a dog. I wouldn't put mine into the sportback, its not tall enough. You could also use a cargo net to retain your cargo if you stack it to the top
Model X LR now costs $79990 and qualifies for the full tax credit. I think its a no brainer to choose over the iX, Q8-Etron, and EQE SUV. I want to get rid of my model S, and move to anything but tesla, but it is hard to find something really good with the range. Test drove a Lucid Air yesterday. Nice, and very good feeling and the best in class mileage at 512 range, but the screen has massive glare problems because of the all glass roof and the position of the screen. Very problematic.
top speed 124 and 0-60 5.4s with 285 miles range and it starts at 84,000 dollars??? what’s the incentive to this over a gas car??? top trim telluride, expedition, etc
Current incentives and typical discount on the car bring it down from 84k to to about 62-64k.. At that point it's a better buy than a 64k combustible car.
I do fail to see the appeal of this 'Q8' E-Tron over the previous gen one? The exterior looks are 99% the same, interior is identical, the performance/power is the same, ride quality and noise isolation is excellent on both model with adaptive air suspension etc. New model claims 300 miles on a charge, old model claims 255 miles on a single charge (both of which would only be achievable in perfect conditions). Considering you can pick up a 2022 E-Tron 55 for HALF the price of a new 'Q8' one, really is a no brainer imo
Really … that’s not a frunk. It barely holds a pizza box! This car is not competitive in the largest car market which is China. They can’t give them away. Air suspension is good at this price point. Key fob is old tech. One pedal driving is a must feature. Mileage range is subpar. No charging infra. Too pricey.
