    Don't feel bad, Tyler. I've been a automotive tech for over 25 years, I have my ASE master auto certification, and every single thing that happened to you has happened to me several times. Getting fluid dumped on you, bolts breaking, ect, it's all a part of being a tech

    Rule of thumb: when working on or around alternators or generators ALWAYS disconnect the battery.

    The hood opens over 90°. Open the clips on the hood hinges. It gives you more room to work on it.

    I was laughing my head off when that part feel in the oil and splashed onto Hoovie cause I'v had that happen to me once but it was way funnier when Hoovie did it. LOL!!!!
