I know nothing about this show but was still thoroughly entertained by this entire performance! Wow, theatre is amazing!!

It's one of my favorite shows. Belle (Rachel York) needs to acquire wealth, culture, and social position so she can marry Noble. She has many lovers and husbands along the way (all played here by Christian Borle) and ultimately winds up a rich, famous, sophisticated older woman (Judy Kaye) writing about her adventures in her memoirs.
Doubt I ever could have summed it up so succinctly.

Christian Borle is amazing. Saw him in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
The tapping was hilarious! I knew he wasn't making those sounds, but it was still great.

Very glad you liked it. No one will ever be quite as brassy as Virginia Martin, but York does quite well here.
I agree. Virginia Martin ‘s recording of THE OTHER SIDE OF THE TRACKS is one of my all time show tune favorites!
Little Me is a brilliant show that has never gotten its due. Genius book by Neil Simon. Genius score by Cy Coleman and Carolyn Leigh. Spectacular orchestrations by Ralph Burns. It’s a crime that this zany show isn’t better known.

Did you guys know that the actress he kisses at 2:30 her name is Skye Mattox . She and Christian have been dating since august of last year from what I have heard.
I think they are living together now, because on zoom falsettos cast reunion, he said that he don't have time cuz he's helping his girlfriend to move into his house

This is a show with a wonderful score, but it is just super dependent upon its casting. When it gets that right, it is a gem.

Poor casting of christian borle. Martin Short is much better suited to this role overall, mainly due to the nature of this role. Borle isn’t a bad actor, but this isn’t the type of role he should be playing.
I saw Short and it was one of the most enjoyable nights I have ever spent at the theater. But Borle is also right for this role, just different.
Of course who can compare to the originator of the role Sid Caesar. I was fortunate to see him in it
