Little Me Dress Rehearsal

- Опубліковано 4 лют 2014
- Little Me, Neil Simon's first musical, is a brash, fast and furious comedy about the glamorous Belle Poitrine and her six suitors. Tony Award winner and "Smash" star Christian Borle will take on the multiple roles of Belle's husbands and lovers-an assortment of oddballs ranging from an innocent college boy to a lecherous octogenarian. Cy Coleman and Carolyn Leigh's high-energy score includes "I've Got Your Number," "Real Live Girl," and "The Other Side of the Tracks."
Starring: Christian Borle, Robert Creighton, David Garrison, Harriet Harris, Judy Kaye, Lewis J. Stadlen, Lee Wilkof, Tony Yazbeck, and Rachel York
good god how many roles did Christian play in this?! XD
so many but i think he said he had 7 roles
Had to do 8, which Ceaser and Short played *_much_* better
no literally & he has so many roles like this i love it like he was amazing in little shop of horrors
The original production starred Sid Cesar, considered one of the greatest comedians of all time. Revivals (odd because the show was never a huge hit) starred James Coco and Martin Short, both with more star status than Mr. Borle, but from these clips he left at least Coco and Short in the dust and maybe Sid Cesar who was deep into alcoholism at this time. I wish I could have seen it. As for Ms. York, well I can not understand for the life of me why she remains such an underappreciated performer, always a star.
outstanding, just sensational
Does anyone know where a video of the entire show is?
If one exists
dosnt really work once you've read the book (which if you haven't is hysterically funny).I think the problem is theres SO much in the book that they couldn't dare put on stage
babyboomerrodg You are so right. I wish the show had been much closer to the book. I still love it though.
Who's the handsome guy on the left at 1:42?
There ain’t no one handsome at 1:42, honey. 😏
The Martin Short/Faith Prince revival was loads of fun and these two were so inferior.
