Anyway, the US government will 100-percent definitely ban RedNote. Americans (i.e., the "TikTok refugees") and Chinese users on RedNote are still in the honeymoon phase. They are still curious about each others. So they are comparing their cities, their cars, their phones, toys, living expenses and standards, grocery costs, rents and mortgages, healthcare costs, (China actually has universal healthcare,) public infrastructure and transportation, etc.. The common reactions I've seen so far: Americans are shocked and angry (at the US government) because of how China is so much better than and so far ahead of the US in those areas. You can complain about China's lack of "freedom" or "free speech", (but is it really?) but "freedom" does not pay your grocery, rent or mortgage; you can't eat or live off "free speech". Americans are starting to realize that the US government and media have been keeping them in the dark about China with lies and propaganda. Americans might actually revolt if too many find out too much about how well Chinese are living and how much the US government is screwing over Americans. The US ruling class and oligarchs are not going to allow this exchanges of life experiences to continue because it threatens their ownership of America. So, RedNote is definitely getting blocked in the US.
