Honestly, I think it's one of the darkest songs ever written. If you really look into the lyrics, it's about the tortured soul of a fallen, innocent person finding no choice but to enforce violence to exact revenge on his oppressors. This follows the lore of Agony quite well, as the album is dedicated to the innocent civilians that have fallen to a specific time of it on a widespread scale. I've heard a lot of people call this song beautiful like you, but I think that it's actually incredibly sad.
Saw them live in Toronto, holy fuck it was the best mosh pit I had been in. Honestly Fleshgod Apocalypse is a band that when I first heard I thought was iffy, yet when I saw them live with Epica, I felt as though they stole the show. Great pit, great visual show, fucking epic drums. It felt like everything a metal show should be.
The Forsaking always gets me hands down. I've had the chance to see them opening for Epica in November last year.... AWESOME Epic Band, easily one of my favorites
While the sound for this gig wasn't the very best, it was fantastic seeing Fleshgod playing out of their skins that day. I know, because I am the lad crowdsurfing at 25:23! 😂
Everyone is talking about The Violation and it’s epic and all, but all of their new songs are fucking insanely amazing live here. This is an amazing band🤘🏻
Source sounds were not recorded then cannot be mixed dude, it is only recorded with one microphone on stage, you cannot make great things that way. You must be conscious that one person must mix many concerts for day after concert (and works nights for it), they just cannot make it as thoughouly as anyone would like to be, especially in Marquee stage, which is indoor, poor sound condition, lot of reverb Buy concert sounds great when you hear it yourself there, simply logic
Everyone talking some type of criticism but im just sitting here like, "Holy shit their hair flips and head bangs are on point." Really pops them out on a performance level.
I think it's really neat. These guys are true performers, and their stage set/costumes really show that. Extremely underrated band for how talented they are.......but I think that will change in a few years.
@@MrNihilist74 I'm not sure, but it's probably just a piano. They have the backing track, which I've already seen them having issues with in one concert. So I think they depend on that completely. No wonder the sound here is bad, even the sound guy was having a hard time. The pianist is the one who writes all of that though.
To be more accurate, time period outfits. Seeing as Assassins Creed covers many different time periods. They certainly do not look like the crusade era costumes of 'Assassins Creed' (The first game)
Graspop had a terrible sound, I've seen Carach Angren and Septicflesh in Graspop, and tehy sound as terrible as this. The bands won't play bad at all, , but the soun tech should start looking for another job!
I LOVE this band. I love the crushing beats and riffs. I love the classical elements, that show how closely related Metal is to some classical music. I’m just not digging the female vocalist becoming so prominent. Once they started using her so much, I kinda lost some interest. Like, here and there, yeah ok... but now the albums have her on a LOT of songs. And it usually ends up ruining the song for me honestly. Sorry. Just my opinion. Obviously there are a ton of fans that disagree... but I think they should scale her back a bit. I love Paolo’s operatic vocals, but the woman’s just come across as cheesy to me.
Why does that matter? She is one of the more talented vocalists I have heard in a LONGGGG time. Too many bands get signed because they have some hot chick fronting the band. People need to quit thinking with their dicks, and just use their ears to enjoy the music. Look at the chick from The Agonist for instance.....Though she is hot, her screams are terrible and now she's singing for Arch Enemy. They replaced Angela (who was amazing) with a sub-par vocalist. Veronica has a very rare type of voice.....just appreciate it and look past the fact that she "isn't much to look at"
What's the name of the guy who starts singing at 39:18 (or in the live show it's a backing track)? I'm assuming it's the same person who sings that part on the album. Thanks! :D EDIT: If it's the bassist who sings those parts, I'm guessing it's Paolo Rossi?
the violation really needs to be renamed to the drum rape
dpwaslayer1 more like drum AND Synth/keyboard rape lol
Nonono! It's perfect! Just think: The violation (of the drums)
26:20 ..... The Violation ... this is a masterpiece ....made in ITALY
They are so much better live than you would think with all thats going on. You have to see them.
God I wish this were better quality Audio. I can just tell it would be fucking amazing.
"The Forsaking" is one of the most beautiful songs ever written, in my opinion.
Achtung Polizei agreed!

@@imbatrossthescrub2096
In my opinion it's tragic
Ce groupe est vraiment un des meilleurs que j'ai pu écouter dans ma vie.
And the vulture beholds would be such a great live song.
The reason they don't perform that is probably because of how hard the chorus is for the clean vocals, probably.
Imbatross the Scrub Aw. That’s my favorite song by them.

Good Lord...new fan here trying to pull my jaw back up from being agape...brutal, absurdly beautiful compositions...incredible showmanship...wow...
This is pure fucking gold. LONG LIVE THE KING \m/

Wow, incredible. I wish I was there. when they played " The Violation" I jizzed my pants
lol
Looks like there's really a violation going down there lmao
Love these dues. Super tight live. UA-cam FG @ hidden agenda. Great show in HK.
I effin love this band, seriously
Tommaso's vocals on that night were so much better than everything from the albums.
While the sound for this gig wasn't the very best, it was fantastic seeing Fleshgod playing out of their skins that day. I know, because I am the lad crowdsurfing at 25:23! 😂
Just saw them tonight in Raleigh NC. Holy shit, these guys are great. Awesome show.
one of the most destructive symphonies is the fleshgod
FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE is phenomenallllllllllllllllllllllllll for ever ....................
In aeternum is epic!!
Everyone is talking about The Violation and it’s epic and all, but all of their new songs are fucking insanely amazing live here. This is an amazing band🤘🏻
Perfecto!
marche royale best intro of all fucking time
They need to fire the sound guy. Otherwise, amazing.

RIP to the drum kit!
They're coming to my city this Friday
I'm nervous since this may be my first metal show
Seen them in Chicago. One hell of a first show to see.
El de la mesa de sonido a la horca !!!

De la Bela Italia FA🇮🇪 \m/ MASTERS!!!
Amazing!
What do you guys think about their clothes and staging?
I think music is great
I think it's really neat. These guys are true performers, and their stage set/costumes really show that. Extremely underrated band for how talented they are.......but I think that will change in a few years.
the clothes brought me here
Is the keyboardist's piano really a synthesizer that they made to look like a piano?

VERONICA IS FUCKING AWESOME!!!
30:06 An automatic close mic stand
Grate Band
👍👍👍👍👍
youtube can't handle the brutality of the light strobes.
1:41 Too fast to headbang in rythm :)
when this was a great line up..... now, disappointed that both guitarists have left. 😩
gnarly
You guyz awesome!!! but IDK I cant feel new songs, Skip to 13:19 OLD ALBUM STILL GREAT ^_^
the sound is bad :(
Whoever the sound engineer was for this gig had the orchestra recording drowning out the actual band.
Per me quella donna poppiera è Richard Benson
💀🤘 💯💯💯🇮🇹
terrible sound quality, but a great gig... I was there!!!🔥
too bad the snare drum isn't triggered. It completely disappears during the fast parts
720p?
Assassins Creed outfits.
That's a good thing. Love this band!
To be more accurate, time period outfits. Seeing as Assassins Creed covers many different time periods. They certainly do not look like the crusade era costumes of 'Assassins Creed' (The first game)
who's that man on the poster behind?
The Fool is so fucking hard to play on guitar
The guy had a fan on his face the whole time. how didn't he get sinusitis??
WTF el microfono? 30:06
Why are the cleans always so low?
No backing track?
only the symphonic things ,and metronome
backing traks are getting old ,now a days things are triggered by midi and shit ,wich is good becouse u actually have to play things acuratly
can you also uploud the full concert of enthroned?
I will upload that show soon.
I like their exotic european clothes
bad audio quality
Thanks. Didn't notice that without your comment. Appreciate it.
FA is a great band but this audio is a crap!

the recording doesn't sound that good
the mix is awful at the start
Jesus christ, this audio is horrible.
666th like lol
too bad she isnt much to look at.
to put it mildly

Caleb Hohneke Id marry her in a heart beat
Wouldn't say that Alissa is a sub-par vocalist, but Angela is definitely better than her!
Caleb Hohneke Alissa's growls and screams are getting
alot better
worst thing ever. that man in the golden mask almost looks like a woman
go listen to some real metal
Awesome. Thanks.
