    I think the easiest thing to do instead of trying the knot, is to use the blue cap from the spike and screw it on the short end part of the tubing, the one that would go to the contrast of you were using dual syringes. Just make sure it's tight and remains sterile.

      Saline flush. It is pretty much salt water that helps push the contrast through the body

    Mam,when we are planning the ct scanning,there aare some numbers which we can see around field of view ( FOV ). My question is what are those numbers and what is the meaning of those?.Could you please mam.

      I'm not sure without looking at it, but if it's a CT GE. It might be table location.
      Does it have the letter I or S in front of the numbers?

    Mam,when we are using the double barel pressure injector instead of the single barel one, we are connecting the connecting tube to the syringe.At this case the short wire of the connecting tube is connected with the contrast barel and long wire of the connecting tube is connected with the salyine barel.What is the reason of this connection?.If we are connecting these wires in different way, is there any problem for the contrast flowing mam?.or anything issues.

      @RADKhammany  2 роки тому +1

      I don't know the exact reason, but in my opinion, I think it's best to connect the shorter one to the contrast so that the contrast has less travel to the IV. It's direct and it doesn't need a detour. Plus the connection is a "T" off so the saline which is helpful as a chaser.

    Y’all can’t buy the single syringes?

    • @RADKhammany
      @RADKhammany  Рік тому

      Yes, single syringes are available. However, this facility uses saline flush for every exam, so they have dual syringes in stock. We had to adjust to the salone shortage that's why this was done.
