Here's my question: I have cleared CFA L1 and working as a Restructuring Intern, looking to break into either Investment Banking (M&A), Private Equity, or explore roles in Quantitative Finance. I would love to know what key skills or certifications I should focus on to make myself a stronger candidate for these fields. Some specific questions: 1) Should I pursue certifications like FRM, or CQF to help break into these areas? 2) Are there any specific technical skills (Python, advanced financial modeling, etc.) that I should develop further? 3) Any tips on networking strategies or experiences to highlight that will help me stand out? I appreciate any insights or advice you all can share! Thanks for your time.
First of all thank you for your free content which helped me clear 2 levels of CFA in first attempt and L2 with 90 percentile, I wanted to know If I opt for L3 with fintree, will I get immediate placement support or will I get placement assistance after the exam.
Hello Utkarsh Sir, Is the crash course included in the Fintree plans, or do we need to purchase it separately? If it is included, could you specify which plans offer it? Additionally, could you explain how the live school plan would work for a student based in Mumbai? (Asking for Level 2)
I have completed my BBA and CFA L2 recently, I want to get into Investment banking roles and MNA roles in Mumbai, what are the skillsets I should work on and roadmap to get good opportunities. Also should I opt for PE pathway for L3 2025 or Portfolio management approach is only recommended for Aug 2025 attempt.
For an L2 candidate, is accepting a role at the tax dept of the Big4s ideal? (Because its more aligned to CA/CPA). What are the finance roles to look at Big 4s? Also for the work experience part of the charter, do they consider experience from the broad commerce industry or core finance only? Thank you!
Sir you recently mentioned that Dubai is currently a great market to work in. Can you please elaborate, How is it better than Singapore or European countries?
Sir, After MBA-Fin, I've worked with sales+ops in AMC for 4 years, than I've left job for preparing regulatory bodies examination and cleared CFA L1 during this period... (Total 2 years career break in it).. now I'm applying for many companies especially in the analyst role but find it difficult to be shortlisted for interview... Can you please provide some suggestions to get a job in the core finance field? It's also difficult to be shortlisted for interview.
Good Morning Sir, CFA August 2025 scholarship window is opened. I was looking ahead to enroll however my company too sponsors cfa designation after being cleared. Does this decreases the chance of getting a scholarship from institute being we have to tick and untick the box on their website. As my boss is not quite supportive.

Hi Sir, earlier the crash course fees was 8000 and now it is increased to 22000 sir please reduce the fees to nearby 10,000 it would be really great as the exam fees has already a huge financial burden and your level 1 crash course was Saviour and you were the reason I passed level 1 at first attempt. This is my second attempt for cfa level 2 and my attempt is in november 2024 please help with fees reduction for crash course sir. It is okay if we just get the video and not the juicenotes 🙏🙏🙏
If market is what avg investor thinks. Then isn’t this rigged, like you just have to peddle the narrative to avg investor. The fact that if you have found something undervalued it won’t appreciate unless the avg investor thinks the same (we need to spread the info of undervalued stock). So what exactly are we doing here ?
sir can you also do a weekly market view and some interesting insights about indian companies for learning purposes.
