As the saying goes, “You win some, you lose some.” But it would appear the winning and the losing varies from person to person, or in the case of international beauty pageants, from country to country.
Defying the law of averages, some nations have a much higher rate of success when they reach the latter stages of pageants, while conversely other countries are often left holding the runner-up bouquet.
This video honours the latter group - the unlucky nations that despite winning some of the time, have experienced much more heartbreak on Big 4 international pageant stages.
