I love how every winner has a niche:
Eric: Asian cuisine
David: making common ingredients shine
Mary: bringing traditional dishes into the present
Trevor: conceptualized dishes
Beccy: same as David
Jennifer: turning kid meaks to stunning dishes
Sad that it ends at season 7
I like how Beccy wasn't just strategizing her appetizer, but the whole course meal.

And use Liquid Nitrogen in Desserts round. Eric in Season One, Trevor in Season Four and Christopher in Season Seven won for using Liquid Nitrogen on their desserts.
Eric won the appetizer round though.

Just me here glad that Eric won. Marida was just throwing shades to Eric throughout the whole competition and smiling and giggling whenever he gets negative review and even said Eric would help her keep forward in the competition 😑

so many times when all 3 judges are being served food, Claudio somehow gets served the slightly overcooked/undercooked food out of all the 3 judges and its hilarious 😂(Eric's pork belly, Jennifer's lamb, Sabrina's rabbit in the semifinal for season 2, and a couple of more i cant remember off the top of my head)

the season 1 one was comical for some reason 😭 from maridas soup yeeting itself out of the blender to chef claudios suit to chef alvin having to defend the ketchup usage (also yes, tho im se asian we have a lot of east asian influences and ketchup is actually very prevalent in our food- just. not obvious. its like a secret ingredient no one will ever admit to adding)
edit: have to add its like 2 am here and i cackled really loudly at the soup part 😭 this is why you dont sneak up on people 😭

I'm glad Marida didn't win. She smiled when Claudio said something negative about his dish with the pork being dry. Other than that Erik's performance was more entertaining but before that I was mostly indifferent to who won.

When they critique food it's also constructive. They don't have to insult someone to help them improve....they just tell em why it doesnt work and how to improve it and that's it. Love that.
