@@fruitpigenthusiast120 yeah, if you ever need a good horror concept just look at bugs and the shit they go through. Like when wasps lay their eggs inside other insects so their young eat their way out of the living host, or how some insects will pretent to be ants so they can slowly pick off actual ants without being noticed. Or even just ants themselves, specifically aggressive swarming ones like army ants, are knightmare fuel by themselves. An army made up of members that lack self preservation or individuality, acting only in service of their hive mind and consuming every living thing in their path.

The "Mostly Harmless" book is the 5th book in the Hitchhickers Guide to the Galaxy series by Douglas Adams. Mostly harmless refers to the Universes version of Wikipedia, the Hitchhickers Guide to the Galaxy, where the only thing listed for Earth in the book is that its "mostly harmless." An encyclopedia that contains all the information for literally everything that has and will exist in the entire universe, only has two words for the entry for Earth and that's it.
I love the humor in these books, its so good. Like when I say has and ever existed, I mean it. Time travel isn't even an issue in this universe. People went back in time to get all the lost poems from a universaly famous author, and its debated wether it diminishes the value of the poems since they went back in time to recover all of them making it less special. There is no such thing as a paradox or anything, its just a normal activity that annoys a lot of people.
For anyone who hasn't read the books I highly recommend it. There is a good reason they are are so famous. Also don't just stop at the first book, there are so many great concepts in the book that are goofy in a very unique way. The main character Arthur learns to fly because he manages to fall an "miss" the ground by getting destracted at the last moment. There is a perso/being that Arthur accidentally kills in every reincarnation and wants revenge. Cricket is based off of the great cricket wars where they use balls and flat bats to devistate society, and during this war reinacment Arthur is visited by an alien who is so mad to be immortal that he is going through in alphabetical order to insult every person who has ever existed. Earth is destroyed to make a clearing for the new intergalactec highway to be built. Tons of topics that most science fiction would try to explain or write off as just a joke, but this series tells you this is how things work no matter how serious or silly it is. From the meaning of life and existence, to why tools seem to randomly disappear from your drawer because its just part of their natural life cycle. Great books, not all gags by the way, but the ones they have are always very good.

For realsies tho, it means a lot to see a creator that I care about post about these video ARGs (and get scared at the same things that I do TwT)
I've watched both the Mandela catalog and GHE before, as well as other youtubers that go into deep dives on the hidden story (like Night Mind, Wendigoon, etc.) and I was really excited to see that pyro streamed his reaction to the videos.. but while watching this video, I realized that Pyro was the starting point for my fascination in internet ARGs, and all the obsession and crap started with Petscop of course.
I was like terrified for the longest time of Petscop, back when I watched in like 2019, and parts of it still give me the spooks, but I kept going back to it and ended up going into more and more videos on iceberg/deep dives of different ARGs.
When looking into other UA-camrs that would go more and more into these other ARGs and the meanings behind them, analyzing these spooky internet stories have really become my coping mechanism with quarantine and depression... and I didn't realize how all of this just started from Pyro's Petscop video from like 4 years ago.
So I dont know if anyone's gonna read this all the way through, or if Pyro will ever actually see this post, but...
Thanks Niall, for starting this obsession/coping mechanism for me.
