A great fiery version of one of a bunch of superb songs from Lou's Growing Up In Public album. That album was on constant play in a small club i virtually lived at from 77-81. So also was another fave The Bells, Street Hassle, Berlin, Transformer and his other albums. The run of albums he made in the 70s along with Bowie's 70s output are close to unmatched by any solo artist. I love the shot of Lou's excellent band on the back cover of the Growing Up In Public album.
I remember seeing this in the tv guide days before and being excited to see him on TV. I remember Kirchner with his dry introduction with his light blue suit and gold chains on.
