I wish the game was a lps version of Webkinz, the concept is forgotten about and with the price being so cheap parents will buy it’s happily! It would be amazing to be able to play with your pets in different ways, physically and digitally! Use coins to get a pet and money, use the gems as rare currency and make pets available for just digital too! I think that would be amazing and give so much to do! Anyways sorry for the rant- it just would be so cool! ❤

They had a code you could redeem to play with them in a virtual world, much like webkins and a lot of other games at the time. I had one, but I think I only ever played the actual game once or twice. From what I remember, there wasn't a whole lot to do, and when I played at least, a lot of it was labelled as "under construction" and inaccessible. Since I was a kid with a short attention span (and could only play it on a library computer for reasons I don't recall), I never actually checked back in to see if it updated, so in the present I have very little idea of what the game was actually like. From a quick search, it seems the game only ran for two years, and I don't think it was ever very popular to begin with. There are a few possible reasons why it apparently didn't do well: it may have been because the toys you got the codes from were spinoff toys rather than the more popular original LPS, and if memory serves, they were a bit more expensive than the normal toys. The game may also have been let down by a lack of marketing, or perhaps the game itself just wasn't interesting enough to get kids hooked like the company hoped. Whatever it was, the ultimate failure of the original LPS online game may be one of the reasons they're doing something different this time around, though it was likely a decision based largely on what's popular with kids in this current decade. I personally would have preferred an old-style virtual world type game, for the nostalgia if nothing else, but I can understand why they went this direction with the new game.

A lot of roblox games these days are this same type of grindy, idle-ish game with gacha/lootbox elements, so while it's not what I personally would prefer, it's not surprising that they followed the trend. Those sorts of games are very popular, and... tbh kind of addicting for younger kids, who get easily drawn into these repetitive gameplay loops, usually because of FOMO on getting a rare or limited time item or whatever. That sounds pretty bad, but some of these games are better about it than others, so hopefully LPS roblox will fall on the less exploitative end of the spectrum. My main hopes for this game are that the grind doesn't get ridiculous (so far it's honestly not so bad for one of these games) and that the monetisation isn't too egregious. There should also probably be so more active minigames and tasks to break up the monotony of the passive "click pet to get coins" core gameplay (hopefully fishing will be like that when it's added). And of course, fixing the bugs and crashes would be much appreciated.
So, for the “bug” at 8:43 as a roblox player, that’s normal. It just means that the stairs are too big or too tiny for the character/ avatar to get on. It’s not a bug, just a prop issue

What really annoys me is you cant delete, trade, or release pets so if you're full you're done (unless you want to endlessly watch your pets do activities I guess). Of course you want to spend real life money on an unfinished game if you want more space though! i was definitely expecting something different. i would have really loved to be the pets and with each purchase you make, the codes on the coins allow you to collect another pet character in the game. that would have been awesome
There was a lot of crashing when I played it on release day, which is common. I got so many doubles... mainly purple poodles rip...😂🤣🐩🐩🐩 But I love the art style and animations as well! I'm hoping this will be my new go to game with my LPSgram friends! 😍 I haven't unlocked the third and fourth worlds, WOW THEY'RE STUNNING! I'm loving the forest/camping the most!! The mushrooms ahhh! 🍄🍄🍄 I hope we get sets themed around these worlds, especially more camping sets like the bear triplets pack I have. ⛺🏕️ Thank you for giving me more reasons to go back and play!!
Hopefully we’ll get some actual mini games to play from the currently locked content. Right now it’s a repetitive cycle of just click to play a action just for in game loot boxes. Like once you collect all the pets and the unlock all the worlds, what’s next? XD I definitely wanted to see something like a new lpsonline
Personally, I like the game! It definitely could be better, but it just got released! I think it has lots of potential and I'm excited to see what they do with it in the future!
my main thing is i wish it was more interactive. the games your pet can do is just clicking on it and standing there and it gets boring pretty quick :/
i honestly really love the game, the backpack pass is useful kinda if you are really trying to get a certain pet or something. the game updating every friday sounds so awesome id love to see what else they add!
i absolutely loveee the worlds actually, the colourful activities reminds me of the old lps accessories with the blues and purples, sometimes pinks ^^ the thing i really disliked was the 30 pet limit.. ive filled my limit with 9 of the same pet so i really hope in the next update they will have a bigger limit or no limit at all !! in the update im very much hoping we can name pets, hold pets, be able to actually do the activities with the pets! having buildings for certain activities such as a daycare or a simming pool center building sort of thing :) i do feel like personally they should lower the % of getting what pet. like i said i got 9 of the same pet which was really upsetting bc now i have to wait for the update to get more pets hopefully and deleted my huge amounts of doubles! but for someone whos only ever had the 2 online games for phone/ipad growing up and not all the other digital lps games this really held some sort of happiness inside being able to play a lps related game in such a long longgggg time. the few people i spoke to on the game were very sweet and lovely to talk to abt the new pets and our collections and hopes for upcoming updates on the game and for lps in stores wise. overall i think its actually really good! i just wish we could do more than just grind though.. and be able to interact with our own pets more and have more activities that aren't just a 1 click kinda thing! ^_^

Yes in one night I made it to the last word and got the best three pets on the last box also when you open a box and get a duplicate pet and you release a pet it doesn’t release all of them just the one that you got from the box :)

The worldbuilding/style really reminds me of the wii/ds/pc game. I adore that kind of style! Its so cute❤

lps aren't out in all of Canada actually, I'm near the Ontario/Toronto area and I keep going to check for lps in toys r us and no luck..
