Watched your link ledgering vid for chub and went out using your method and caught my pb with one over 5lb. My aim for 2023 is to catch a double figure barbel (never caught one), so I'll use this method in my campaign on the Hampshire Avon. I like the pva hooklink idea. Seems logical 👍
Trouble is the fury friends are demolition fish stocks in tiny rivers, i live 5 minutes walk from my local for the last 15years it once did have some big old girls in
@@justinsteel6360 really ? Would love to get back to fishing for them again What rivers are you fishing for them on been over 30 years since I’ve had a barbel as I only fly fish now
Why can't you say where. I'm not interested in places described as lakes, reservoirs or rivers. You could say which county but I suppose even that would be too much.
Centrepin is an Ikonix mate, come up on ebay fairly regularly and usually pretty cheap. Loads of companies churning out very similar if not identical reels too.
Drennan ESP , just a cut above the rest.
Thank you.
@@DrennanTackleTV drennan is for the traditional real angler. No drum and bass, no nonsense
Really nice film.
Awesome no other word for it 👌

Exe, Culm and Creedy. Very low stocks but they are in there. A Devon Barbel is a prized catch done by just a few.
To lubię......Barbel love.
Brilliant video, I love small river fishing it’s the best.

Looking forward to more of that kind of stuff from you
What centrepin is Dan using? Fantastic content as always... Just wish you could do more of the specialist content 🤞🏻🙌🏻🎣
