અમેરિકામાં હોટેલ ચલાવતા સંજય પટેલે ચૂકવવું પડશે બે મિલિયન ડોલરનું જંગી વળતર

કેન્ટુકીના એર્લાન્જર સિટીમાં ઈકોનો લોજ નામની હોટેલ ચલાવતા ગુજરાતી સંજય પટેલને એક વ્યક્તિના મોત બદલ 2 મિલિયન ડોલરનું વળતર ચૂકવવાનો આદેશ કરવામાં આવ્યો છે. મૃતક એલેક્સ ક્રોનિસ નવેમ્બર 2021માં સંજય પટેલની હોટેલમાં રોકાયા હતા, જ્યાં શાવર લેતી વખતે ગરમ પાણીને લીધે દાઝી જવાથી તેમને હોસ્પિટલમાં એડમિટ કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા. સંજય પટેલની હોટેલ સામે ફાઈલ કરવામાં આવેલા લૉ સ્યૂટમાં દાવો કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો કે પાણીનું ટેમ્પ્રેચર 150 ડિગ્રી હોવાથી 76 વર્ષના એલેક્સ ક્રોનિસ ગંભીર રીતે દાઝી ગયા હતા, તેઓ બાથરૂમમાં જ ફસડાઈ પડ્યા હતા અને તેમની ચીસો સાંભળીને હોટેલમાં તેમની સાથે જ રોકાયેલા તેમના બે એમ્પ્લોઈએ તેમને બાથરૂમમાંથી બહાર કાઢ્યા હતા.

Case doesn’t have merits .
First time he left the hospital against doctors advise , full stop , done case is gone in favor of motel owner ! How a jury can award such money ?
In appeal the appellant court will immediately throw away the case . May be the jury is biased
Secondly , Owner of motel doesn’t have to pay , they have to have liability insurance they will pay .
I India during attack on Hotel Taj , Tata failed to protect its guest and 200 people died , Taj had very specific threat of terror attack but Taya didn’t do my thing to pretext the guest , while he has commandos
He would have been bankrupt of it Woolld have been in USA .

Buissness to have many type of insurance by law and or franchise terms and conditions
One of them is workmen’s compensation . For employee , secondly liability and third one is umbrella . Which covers these kinds of injuries
All civil law suits are covered , except criminal activity . I think his insurance should give large amounts not only 10000 .

Water temperature 150 Celsius? fYI no water can have more than 100 degree celsius even steam at 150 Celsius is almost unheard of. There has to be tremendous pressure to achieve 150. Celsius steam
