Hi Clint. The Old Duffers event was most enjoyable. You are magic. I was wondering whether you might do a video on longer punches on the fairway. I am having difficulty adapting the distance for these shots. Jeff
With the exception of a couple of holes, I only do punches up to 50 yards which is my 64 wedge I show in this video. If its more than 50 yards and under 64 yards, I use a full shot with my 64 wedge.
I dont punch out of rough, I flop using fullback spin, and it depends on the green. For example, if the green is uphill to the hole I add a yard for 25-30 and 2 yards for 30-40. If the green rolls downhill to the cup I use the same adding but then I take off depending on how many inches downhill it is towards the hole. I guess I could make a video on that next, Ive been trying to think of a new one to make anyway.
Sorry, I just now seen your comment. I dont punch with my pitching wedge, my short game is all my 64 wedge be it flops, pitches, punches, and up to 63 yards for full shots.

@@lrowan1 I see. Thank you.
Thank you for the very helpful video. Could you let us know how you would adapt the numbers if the ball is in the rough? Eg, 20%, 30%, 40% rough.

@@lrowan1 Thanks so much for your answer. Your videos have really improved my game.
Thanks for this. I like the idea of a 1 yard roll to give it a chance of rolling in. Is it worthwhile mapping the pitching wedge as well?

@@lrowan1 Awesome thank you Sir 🙏
i have no idea what you are talking about with the soreadsheet. you lost me right upfront.
Its really simple, you hit a punch with 100% power and then mark down how many yards the ball goes, then do the same for 95%, 90%, 85%, and so on.
