- With the HJ47 Landcruiser aka "Lance" ready for his maiden camping voyage, Jamesy and I thought what better way to launch him into action then with a boys fishin' trip!
We head back to one of our favourite beach/riverside camps on the New South Wales coastline, Farquhar Park, near Manning Point. We've loaded old lance like the Hillbilly's including the tinnie, on the hunt for some flathead. Yes, we actually catch fish in this episode.

Perfect, back to basics. I used to camp like that. Lance did well, eh. I used to put a stick up under the tarp to lift it and stop flapping and run the rain off - put a beer carton on the stick so the stick doesn't pierce the tarp. Good on ya
I was born in Taree as was my father. My grandfather was born, at home, in Coopernook. I was born to dairy farmers, utilising Mooreland and Moto country with access to various rivers. That part of Australia is famous for estuary fishing. The best flathead were caught from the the Dunbogan River on a drifting bait of garfish (plentiful in the Manning River) and we always caught ~80cm flatties so we could feed a family of six for a few days.

Lovely Ep and fish and camping spot guys, If you finish Lance You and your Mate Should do the Cape in him with the tinny, And Call in on me, I be Camped up above Weipa on the beach for 8 weeks next year and for many years after that if open around May onwards. I show what I know and take you fishing in my 5m tinny.
