great to see a normal white man back as a Mayor
I’m from Tauranga and it gives me faith in mahe just because he’s on your platform.
Tauranga must be in pretty bad shape if they’re prepared to vote in a Mayor who’s from outside of the area who has absolutely no experience….
We are! High rates. Simple minded fools incharge. And he thinking this is about forming a team! He’s a joke and he will show his true colours.
@@jen7256 is he woke?
God Tauranga residents can be such simpleton’s voting in a person who does not live there and has no local government experience and is only known for his sporting prowness
Go Mahe, all the best, hope you can do what needs to be done.
Go through the bureacrtas line line line and ask every one what they do.
if its not needed, then give them 3 months notice of redundancy
No payout. Just notice period
Yes! That will somehow magically make the almost empty CBD refill with operational shops!
He's never stated his stance on Māori wards & yet this simple question has proven who's who.
Glad your feeling better and are back Sean 🌹💖
Blessings to Mayor Drysdale. Adult back for Tauranga. Common sense he will being. Congratulations 🌹🌹
I would remind you that the mayor only has one vote just like any counciler Without the support of his council he can achieve nothing. Note the former mayor is back.
Let’s see about our rates and the Maori wards
Glad it was Mahe and not Mr Owen’s in my view an over privileged gentleman who it seems is only concerned with big boys toys and no interest in the struggle that most of us face on a daily basis
I think most Olympian’s are “over privileged”….never done an honest days work in their lives and reliant on government handouts….
@@mrspecialk1234 have to say that yes if you want to compete at that level you need help however the talent and the commitment necessary is god given also you must be able to focus on the work to the exclusion of all else. If Mahe brings those abilities to his new role he will not only have paid back the tax payers of this country he will do a great job.
Time will tell.
Like rowing...Issue by issue, stroke by stroke, in the right direction and staying afloat.
Hope he can get a team together that won't rock the boat too much.
Gorml;ess councillors in the past lost Tauranga baypark, typical, what they want overrides what they are elected for
Local politics is the only one that NZers are allowed to pull apart!!!!!
He is not up to the job. Does not have the credibility or gravitas to instill confidence
Thank God it is not a woman in power
all the best Mahe, just focus on keeping the rates down, delivering the water, taking the sewage, fixing the roads, taking the rubbish stay out of the rest as the expensive rubbish that is not your core business and you will be all right
@@J.Smith-rc6wh agree do the house work not the woke work
yes, but who says whats best for the citizens
Everyone wants different things
Every councillor will have different ideals and goals
So this talk about a team so early is just rubbish
