I have the Freedconn TMax and 4 years later it is still working fantastic. I'm a solo rider 99% of the time so I don't really care for intercom feature. 2 of my friends also have the same model and once in a while we do use the intercom feature but for the most part I use it to play music, receive phone calls, navigation instructions. And the wheel is the best method to control things while riding. For my needs, absolutely no need to spend lots of money on a Sena or Cardo when this does the same things for a solo rider at a far cheaper price.

Great video buddy.Basically I want a Bluetooth headset just for listening to my sat nav and the occasional music and was thinking of a sena but concerned that they are not waterproof 🤔. Would you recommend the freedconn model for my needs 🤔 👍
The newest version of this is so much better. You get the boom mic but you also get a smaller mic so you can choose which one you want. Also there isn't any display on the unit anymore. Was kind of dumb originally anyways since you have your helmet on ... can't see the display. Works great .. decent amount of sound. You want a good basic unit you can't go wrong at all.
I had the earlier version of this and it was great but the volume could have been louder so I could have used ear plugs with it. I bought this later version last year as the old ones would no longer charge but on the first use on a trip to Scotland riding in heavy rain it got water logged and after drying out would not work. I have bought another but have not had a chance to use it. In heavy rain will definately tuck inside my waterproofs in future. Good review.👍

When you are listening music is the volume good enough when you are travelling with 120 klm ,can you hear the music easily ?awhatsy your opinion?Thanks
Really depends on your bike abd helmet, on my triumph the volume was obvious not as good as in lower speeds, on my Harley it was very hard to hear the music Don't forget to subscribe if you haven't already
Hey, did you test the multitasking function? I want to listen to music while talking with my passenger, and that the music lowers its volume when we talk.
You can only do one thing at once, but you can easily switch back and forward by one click of a button. One intercom over rides the other so only one person needs to click if they wanna say something
Thanks just wanted to know if the so call voice command connects to Siri, that way I can have her make the phone call , is that possible , can i connect to Siri ?
@@WinterMotors Ya, that is what has kept me with the expensive units. I use custom earbuds for hearing protection and music otherwise I have to use earplugs with the speakers and that sucks!! Great review though!
@@MultiBiker67 the bass could be better but it is not non existing, i use mine more for communicating than music, so i suggest if you want to only do music, maybe get some headphones, take them apart and mount in your helmet
Hmm I noticed my brother has a full face helmet with the sena system. Maybe I should relieve him of that. Lol. He has a camera also. ( not a go pro) the rusty wheels in my head are beginning to slowly turn. 😂
well the sena is a superior device, but if you wanna save some $$ and chat with your riding buddy at the same time, i suggest you get him to buy one of these to match yours

They don't claim to be water proof, just water resistant, but that is shit non the less

That lag is probably from the frequency that your bike produces from the electronics when it hits those speeds
