• The Heavy: Uses his Gatling gun to shoot at enemies from afar.

@SwagaNuts Each class has a completely different set of weapons and attacks, and the huntress is the only one who uses actual guns with a reload counter/energy bar. That's why the portal gun is only for her. Other characters have tons of awesome and unique weapons though. We'll be releasing the full source of the game for modding about 2 weeks post release, so if someone wants to make a portal staff for the mage or etc., they're more than able to!
I laughed a lot when I saw them using the portal gun to drop the enemies into the lava. Once cross-platform play is patched in, I'm going to trade a lot of crap in for someone's portal gun. The TF2 people are funny too but I'm fine with not having them.
Is there a way to recolor the TF2 pets? Mine are either black and yellow (Heavy and Pyro) or black and green (Engineer and Medic).
It's annoying and changing my character's colors doesn't change a bit.
Also, please add a "Reset stats" option for pets in general. For example, I didn't know that I have to invest into the Medic's attack damage for increasing the amount of HP he heals.

@zazismrx We have two game modes, open and ranked. The latter of which we will ban users from and characters are stored on the cloud, the former locally. Multiplayer works by hosting and joining rooms of games!
@HyperVegitoDBZ Stop being so mad at a video game and just play something else instead.

@BattlefieldMan2 Yes, I believe if you buy a 4 pack people who you send the extra copies to will get also get the Steam Exclusive DLC.

Great game! I've been playing quite a bit, and I use a Huntress, but it seems that the Apprentice class is severely under-powered. Though they are the "tower class" it seems that all they have is a lot of mana, and their towers don't actually do much. Squire's towers are much more damaging even though they are the hack and slash class. But I don't know, I haven't tried the Apprentice yet, maybe people just don't know how to play it correctly.

How about making it a bit more open world ? i seems to me you just have to wait in your tavern till the next match begins or am i wrong? i pre-ordered it anway cant wait^^ besides how about some titels/ranks for example: ,, Player-Name the Title´´ ? or a guild function ?
besides i really like your character costumization, and the look of the weapons. keep up the good work !
@TrendyEnt Howcome the Portal gun can only work for Huntresses? it saddens me, seeing as how I'll never use her ( dont like the look of her) and I'm preordering now mainly for the bonuses since extra bonuses with a good looking game are always awesome, but howcome portal gun is only for Huntress? are you guys going to make it for all classes eventually?
@The1177 umm, he's right, you download a file, and presto, you can have all the extras from all the different types.

Hi. I like to know that i bought my game on gamergate and i found out that by buying on steam is way better than gamergate! I feel conned as i spend the same amount of money but unfair to get different rewards!
@KamenRiderBlackSun Yep, the PC version supports 4 player splitscreen. You can play with 1 player on keyboard and the other 3 on gamepads! It also supports any combination of that online as well. So you can do 2 local, 2 online, etc.!

second off let me say that the portal gun is a useless weapon, just a gimmick, and doesn't act at all like a portal gun
@xBonderx PC has modding and total conversion support (for which we'll be releasing the entire source of the game about 2-weeks post-release), it's own control scheme and interface (which we will be showing off very soon), separate ranked and unranked multiplayer modes, a DRM Free version, AND we'll be frequently patching it/adding in content based on what the community wants.
@CorporalHotdogs You'll be able to join modded games and you'll know that they are modded. The game will automatically transfer the new maps/etc. to you!
is there's still a way tog etc these or p reorder only it would suck if they are p reorder only
@Alethium We agree completely, and are slowly planning on implementing things like that post-launch on PC :)! Or maybe not so slowly depending on how you look at it :P
@CJJPro Eventually we are going to patch the PS3 and PC versions of the game so that they and the mobile versions can play together online.
Just one question of your time, will there be at all any cosmetic items? Like in TF2, on how there are hats for fun, or different skins? If so then you should somehow make them exclusive. Like I doubt you can get this to work, but if you pre-order this game, then you get to have this hat. Thus making this hat valuable that would somewhat set up a system for an ecomy like TF2. I would find this awesome, please consider my idea/question?
@rubberduckey111 We actually really really want the opportunity to do a fleshed out PvP mode as an expansion... so tell all your friends about the game so we get the chance!
hi, im using a Logitech controller, but when i try to use it every button function is reverse, to walk forward i have to press down, to move backwards i have to press up, B is A , X is Y, LT and LB is reverse, RT and RB is reverse.
i tried to configure it at the launch menu but i cant map out the buttons. is there a way to make my non xbox 360 to work?
@KillaKanl0rd I'm guessing not very high. I think you'd be able to rock high settings with 2 GhZ dual core and 2--4 GB of ram. And anything higher then an Nvidia geforce 9800 will do fine i guess.
I'm not sure since i haven't played it. But from the looks of the minimum requirements they seem to have made it require very little.

You have never played the game, that particular maps has enemies coming from THREE fronts, you only see *ONE* of the fronts of enemies, there is more happening in the background. Trust me, even with the portal gun dropping the enemies in the lava, there is more to it than just that. There are maps that are just simply *HUGE*, just a portal gun wont be enough.

1.5 GHz Dual-Core CPU
2 GB system RAM
256 MB DirectX Shader Model 3 GPU
@TrendyEnt How friendly is this game to PC hardware? I saw the requirements on Steam are particularly light! But I imagine that all the effects and creatures on the screen at once would require quite a lot of hardware? For the experience I can see on the video, what type of hardware would be required?
@pmashertrendyent Oh, is the energy seperate from your average Mana pool? I automatically assumed that's what it was talking about when I read about it. That's much better then, at least.
Still kinda wish the enemies would learn to watch where they're going a bit though. =P

This is an awesome pre-order bonus. Actually I think too good as people will bummed if they can't get it after release. Might be better to bring back Nagi as the Pre-order bonus an let the Portal/TF2 stuff just be for anyone that buys on Steam.

PLEASE, no one use the Portal gun, for the sake of you teammates' enjoyment. How can the game still be fun if you can just portal all the enemies in Lava? This is supposed to be a Hardcore game.
@HyperVegitoDBZ Haha oh well. All I can say is give it a few more minutes to see if you're used to it. I didn't like it at first but the rest of the game is worth the weird initial feel.
YOU DONT HAVE TO GO TO THE OPEN ROOM, all you have to do is open the presents in the tavern, I just did it with a level 6 character........Plus 19 million mana points...
People don't understand why the portal gun has a damage number but they can't deal damage with it. It's purely for the Piercing Shot ability. Hope I helped clear things up.
Is it possible to release this game on Sunday(or Saturday in usa) since my friends are coming over that day and it would be awesome to have this game ready :P (pc steam)

I opened the crates in non-ranked play without thinking.. Is there any way to get it on ranked or am I just stuck with the items where they don't mattera/
@Darkreign1000 lol i wasted so much mana to find out it does no damage also the portals can only stay for a limited amount of time its still fun to use
I was very surprised how cool the game was, but i'm also afraid the portal gun can ruin the game a little bit. Or else the idéa of TF 2 minions is cool.
@fmxrider7 If it's any consolation, PS3 launches one day earlier than the 360 and PC versions. This is because Sony does updates and service on Tuesdays.

Pre-ordered the game the instant this video was finished playing. I also went ahead and managed to play the first "build" of this game called "Dungeon Defence" from a few years back and was delighted to see the game ran pretty much silky smooth on my pc! Is the current version of the game run similarly to that old "Dungeon Defence" build? Obviously there is probably more bells and whistles now but I'd be delighted if the game ran just as smooth as the old version did. Thanks!
