Yeah man, I got it. Im pretty sure I figured it out I was able to pull it off twice… been training for two hours.
I can confirm. No video editing, the same napkin disappears and reappears- it’s the same napkin and you can do it even with a signed napkin.

@@LurkMoar101 it’s one of those tricks that if you know the method, it will take you 600h to learn it.
Also it’s such a simple method you wouldn’t believe that it works this way.
Only hint I can give is it would absolutely not work with a coin or a card.

Once you get it looks like actual magic and even fools yourself.😂
If you look at the two clips. The napkin doesn’t reappear in the “same” place either… also his “unnatural” hand is something to keep in mind.

With the optical illusion of the multi coloured circles and arrows ... I believe it's not just the arrows. I put a paper over the arrows so I couldn't see them and I still picked up on the motion of the circles in the various directions. The circles might do repeated micromovements/deformations in the directions of the arrows that are then always reset, creating the illusion of movement while "evidently" staying in the same spot.
the end "trick" of this video put the most wholesome smile on my face. thank you Chris.

Cute doggo! That napkin trick was nuts. The way he moved the napkin closer to his fingers after the person handled it made me think it was a retract, but I guess not?
i was trying to kinda recreate it and my only solution is that it has to do something with the positioning and him maybe blowing on the napkin
As someone who doesn't know the trick, the copper/silver transposition looked so good to me.
you can see a couple bits where it looks like the coin is copper on one side and silver on the other, but most of the flips are super clean to the point where i can't tell if they're faked or not and swaps would still have to be happening in really difficult places. not perfect but very good

that magic sword toy is a pretty cool effect but i bet it would look sick as hell as a full size build
Parallax effect is when you are traveling say on a Freeway and there's some trees close to you and trees far away from you. You look out of the side window and the close trees are just speeding past you. But the trees far away do not look like they are moving at all. Often if you're on a freeeway with a curve in it those far away trees can look like they're not moving and in some extreme cases look like they're travelling faster than your car.

The napkin trick seems to have something to do with the paper itself, it looks like a single layer of paper like how those cheap toilet papers could be split into 3 layers, it looks pretty see through so I guess it could be. Also, with the paper being so thin it could make it easily blown by light air puffs, maybe he could be blowing down on it but I doubt it’s the method because of how crazy fast it looks.

My thought on the napkin trick is that he might have some really thin transparent or skincolored rubber band around his hand that hooks on to the napkin, and when he spreads his fingers it springs of and transfers it to underneath his hand.

@@devonwilliams2423 me doing a video would just give away the method. I don’t have time to grind a single trick for so long to make a video proof. It’s one of those mad technical tricks even once you know the method it will take you years to perfect. Hence, why he’s probably releasing it now after mastering it.
His „hand gesture“ is relevant. The fact that it’s a napkin is relevant. The setting is relevant. For what I know I could’ve figured out a different method lol. It’s simple, you wouldn’t believe that this effect works- so simple.

My guess on the napkin, snap reel in the watch, with catch for napkin between fingers. his fingers are close until the action, then he opens them, I think it pulls it between the fingers, he reaches under the hand after, on the second one, possible clearing the catch.
