@@stewiegremlin4454 No that's actually what happened. In the original timeline Thor stated in Ragnarok that Loki did that in an attempt to kill Thor but it didn't work. I'm assuming it actually did work in the timeline kid Loki was from.
When Mobius said “you’re my favorite” he wasn’t specifically talking about only Sylvie but both of them since they’re both Loki. I say this because, when Lokis hugging Mobius - Loki cant see his eyes shift to Sylvie but only heard his voice.

Fun facts: The Golden Sword Kid Loki has was Thor's first weapon. In the 70's, as part of a toy tie-in, many Marvel characters got vehicles. And, yes, Thanos did escape the Avengers to twart them another day in that bright yellow helicopter with his name on the tail. Then the 80's came along and did the Infinity Gauntlet story and Snap! it was a massive hit.

I love how we just met Classic Loki but we know his entire story, and he had a proper send off.
He's the same as our Loki, up until when Thanos attacks the asgardian ship, where classic Loki survives (which by the way, was a fan theory at the time of Avengers IW, the whole projection and turning into debris to fake his death)
Then, he isolates himself and focuses on getting stronger using his magic, realising that's how a Loki is most powerful, with sorcery and not daggers. Gets lonely, TVA scoops him up after trying to come back, and is pruned to the void. And with glorious purpose, saves our Loki and Sylvie, becoming a self sacrificing hero.
I don't think Loki will die, it feels like WandaVision, Loki and future projects are very sorcerer or mystical related. Classic Loki is a tease of how powerful Loki is gonna become.

All I'm saying is that whomever is manipulating the timeline is looking for a specific outcome... Maybe Kang wanted to create Sylvie and wants her to find him... That's probably why those animatronics started laughing and why the TVA brought her in front of the fake timekeepers to being with, because he wanted a Loki that could see through charade. I also wouldn't be surprised if there isn't more than one TVA, maybe that's the reason why Mobius didn't know about Alligator Loki.
Watching you guys watch this, something occurred to me about Loki's character in the MCU: he's never loved himself. He's always been seeking approval from others. Yes, he is narcissistic in character, but that's a persona he projects rather than a firmly held internal belief of superiority. The romance between him and Sylvie, then, is Loki learning how to love himself. *Literally*.

A way of looking at it, is FACTUALLY, Loki gives his powers to a girl on Earth named Sylvie trying to Manipulate her. She never realizes Loki gave her powers and ended up believing she was an Asgardian who lived on Earth... this is probably why she is a Variant. Because she is a "LOKI" created by LOKI. And why she is the only Female Loki, that is Very similar to Loki but also his Opposite.

So a fun fact is that both Loki and Sylvie are Frost Giants... So neither one would ever be cold in a place that wasn't at least snowing. So he lied about being cold and she knew it but went along with it because the only way Lokis know how to communicate their feelings is lying. So when they are talking about how the moment by the lake and Mobius theory and saying it was rubbish was them both lying about how they felt and in fact confirming they do have feelings for each other. It's cute in a "need a hundred years of thearapy" way.
Edit: Classic Loki is still alive I think. Remember how he created a illusion of himself so real that even Thanos was fooled? He still had magic going in his palms when he was "eaten" and he can create teleportals too. I doubt it will ever be confirmed but in my heart he is still alive. I also love that in the next season Loki takes his lesson to heart and starts relying on magic more. We don't see it much but episode two really showcased he's been exploring what his magic can do.
The instant we saw Loki die in Infinity War, people had headcanons that Loki wasn't dead, that he'd faked his death AGAIN.
Old Loki is the living embodiment of that headcanon. He's the version of Loki that did exactly that.
He's the Loki that said the sun would shine on him and his brother again and MEANT it.
Classic loki is the loki that survived Thanos. So he had all the character arcs of the loki in the movies except he lived. What a great send off to him

Nice reactions. So Loki said he can't enchant but he did it to Valkyrie in the last Thor movie. He made her see the memories of what happened when they fought Hela. And then the Classic Loki said he created an illusion so strong even Thanos believed it. He then recreates Asgard to fool Alioth in to attacking it. Loki learned to enchant from Sylvie and found out how strong his illusions can be from classic Loki. So is it possible that the reason Loki was a changed man during the last few movies is because it was actually this Loki from the show? We all thought when he said "Don't worry brother the sun will shine on us again" that it was an illusion. Now we may have just found out that it was and why he wasn't in any other movies. He took himself out of the equation. This Loki may get to change that part too. Time isn't a straight line, it's full of loops. Loki had to go through everything he's going through so he can go back and change everything for the better. He knew all along his glorious purpose. Starhawk is another character in marvel that lives through time repeating and changing what he can trying to prevent major evils in the world. I think there are a couple of others too.

Here's my theory. Waiting in the castle at the end of time is "He Who Remains" the one who created the TVA. But the "OWR" is actually "The Last Loki Who Remains." He's there to make sure that the Loki's aren't all inevitably doomed to die by Thanos. Ravona really doesn't know who created the TVA, she was sent there by Kang eons ago to infiltrate and control the TVA while trying to find a way to take over the timeline. She actually allowed Silvie to escape so that she could hopefully disrupt the TVA's power so that Kang could ultimately take control of the sacred timeline for himself. When Kang finally gets control, the Loki's unite to oppose him and regain control - causing the multiverse of madness.
What if the creator of the TVA is another loki variant, since the show is mostly about self confrontation!
