I think doctor strange did it for longer though. We didn't see every single time loop that he was in, that plus Dormammu is an arrogant and prideful being.
@@rampagingflames3384 no way strange did it for longer when loki was looping for centuries learning mechanics physics and engeneering and possibly infinitely more time training his magic offscreen to the point that he was able to climb the powerscaling from a someone who cant even win against very early avengers to a being who can hold infinite universes in the palm of his hands and supply it with infinite, no IMEASURABLE energy to keep them alive. it takes alot and i mean lots of time to make a god who allready lived thousands of years look mentally traumatized, exhausted and depressed like that.

Yep, it's a fascinating parallel really - especially when you take into account (at least in this series) Loki's magic is green... the Time Stone is ALWAYS green.
ok, it actually kind of breaks my heart the way loki basically puts everything on himself and ends up being the new He Who Remains.........alone. like, does he just stay there for the remainder of all time? ALONE?!?! poor bby said he didn't want to be alone.......and now he is....ughhh, my heart hurts now.

He still got his other powers. Of course, he first needs to make sure that everything is under control while he's doing it but he still can cast illusions of himself wherever and WHENEVER he wants to. That could allow him to tell a proper goodbye to Odin, Frigga and Thor.
Honestly, I think it’s great for his character arch and the story they were going for since season one it all comes full circle

Actually, the evolution of Loki is pretty similar to Prince Hal's. They both start as mischievious arrogant young princes, then grow up and become grave responsible kings sitting on a throne they didn't asked for.

@@AlexiosReimdall Its a bootstrap paradox and it happen because Kang sent the TVA guidebook back in time. Part of the bootstrap paradox is a piece of knowledge send back in time gets caught in an endless loop of causes and effects making it have no clear start and appearing to be self-created.
Technically it is Kang/Victors work, but it doesn't make sense that he sent the guidebook back to assure he becomes a brilliant scientist in the future and the universe basically created Ouroboros to fix the error. If the TVA was not sent back O.B as we know him wouldn't exist either.
I love how Loki just straight up went and learned everything that OB learned and repeated the same day over and over again for centuries, maybe millennia.

I think he HAD to spend centuries learning the physics of time and all that in order to get better understanding of how to use his powers as well. Also when he went out there to the loom, it started aging him which made him more and more powerfull instead of just turning him to spaghetti

It was a serious episode that still had plenty of humor, it just didn’t ruin the tone and made sense in terms of characters and the narrative. That’s a sign of great writing.

I think something underrated about this episode is that it takes every prior episode and essentially “runs through” them again like a review. Loki has to keep going back in time so he essentially is going back to each of the episodes in order to gain more time. It reminds us (the audience) that everything we’ve watched is not only important but well worth it.

There’s a difference in how HWR n Loki manage the timeline cuz everything HWR does to keep timelines safe is based on science and facts and advanced technology cuz he’s a human the only reason he doesn’t age is cuz he’s at the end of time but Loki is different he doesn’t need science or advanced technology cuz he’s a the god of mischief and has powers.
I would say just without technical, not science, because he did learn centuries of OB and Timely knowledges about time science and probably used his understanding of time in his finale. Thanks to science, he knows what to do, magic take care of How.
Maybe at some point science and magic just meet each other 😌💚
Exactly!!! Loki combines magic AND science!!! That's the difference. He quite literally spent CENTURIES studying how all of this works under OB. Thor once said that Asgard magic is a combination of what we know as magic and science. Loki was able to use both to save the Multiverse.

You know as powerful as kang the conqueror was. I'm actually surprised he was defeated so quickly. Only thing i can think is he got complacent and those are different avengers.

For the last epsiode to one of the most craziest time travel plots i had ever seen it was really comical and i love it. I mean it was the last episode and i was able to watch it and laugh so damn much. I also liked a similar episode in Agents of Shield too. It was hilarius with them trying something different every damn time.
Dude spent centuries trying to save his friends. But now we will never see loki again.

The funny thing is, while he has NO time to 'learn' with the Loom being the way it was and time running out... time would never 'run out'. Which is why He Who Remains was so bemused. He could see it from the side of 'you have no time, but you have ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD'.
There are 16 minutes on the clock until the end of the world. But at any point you can jump back in time to a spot earlier than when the 16 minute coundown started. Even if you ran the clock down to 1 second, you could still jump back across time. So even though there's a rush of sorts... you have all the time in the universe to make it right.
(I use 16 minutes as an example because of No Man's Sky, where there's 16 realworld minutes till everything collapses, but inside the game that 16 minutes is almost infinite duration).

But what happened to current victor? They didnt gave his young version the tva book. That means they killed the current one that helping them?
I thought about it too. Maybe they rewrite him like when TVA exploded and everyone end up with their lives in branches like in episode 5, but getting TVA handbook was impossible moment of his life, that defined him, so I don't think this Victor would be same person. They definitely hit this is his fate, but it could be just because they were unsure if they use this character again and with that potential prison for actor. I would like to think, that he stayed in TVA and helps OB and they just prevented another potential variant to get hands on time travel. Victor is hopefully ok, after everything he gone through, even if he doesn't remember it.
I think this current victor would still be ok, because he is already a branched timeline Victor, and all the new branches are now protected by Loki. And the sacred timeline victor originally didn't get that TVA at all, so that would remain the same, so that kid belongs to another timeline.
I think that he was erased. There's no sign of him anywhere after Loki saves everything. Not with OB or in the War Room. Just a mention because the new Handbook is now credited as being co-authored by him.
