The lyrics in the opening verse make a lot of sense. It's almost as though he's targeting today's artists, indirectly saying that it takes little thought for them to make their songs and it's as easy as that. Just a personal thought really, if anyone cares to weigh in, go right ahead.
I just watched Lana Del Reys - Born to Die.. I think a lot of what Manson speaks about can be seen in that video. Basically he's saying the whole "rebellious bad bitch" appearance sells, along with that is sex. Everything is subliminal. Just watch her video you'll know what I mean. Throw in a little bit of violence or talk of violence in the song along with a cute lovable tune "blah blah blah" and you have an instant hit in the music industry. It's disturbing how easily manipulated women of this generation have become.
