As Xenakis is my favourite composer and the humour in this is great, this may be my favourite presentation I've seen, I keep coming back to it because I love it! thank you so much!!!
wow, this was seriously amazing!!!! I love Xenakis a lot and his just made my week. the way it morphs in the ending is really thought provoking and inspiring. thank you
One of the most destructive things a person can do is to get up everyday and go to their job, never thinking twice about why they have to go in the first place.
Xenakis has been my favorite composer since Electro-Acoustical Music was released on Vinyl. I would play Bohor at Max vol. and watch my friends flee for the door about 2/3rds the way through it. His work always has had a disturbing effect on most of the people I know. It's beautiful to my ears!
Peter's right, once comfortable in their 'zeitgeist' the 'sheeple' mentality is to resist change. I have some optimism in as much as the current and last generation have had to get used to change due to the instability of our economic model as well as the constant re-organisation within industries to squeeze the last drop of profit. We have and are seeing accelerated change, both good and bad in society. At least we are used to change now rather than rigidity although some things like religion and greed are going to hang around stubbornly preventing rapid transition to sustainable prosperity through rational collaboration. The important thing is for those of who understand to communicate the answers. PJ never disappoints, he's the sort of intellect that should be in the UN if ever it was to become a credible force for change and peace. I hope it doesn't take another generation to be understood because we don't have the time to avoid massive collapse.
Very interesting !!! I was luckly ! professionally I did what I wanted to do in my life... It did not bring tons of money... sometimes it did (very short period of times)... artistic professions are always complicated...
He is one of the wisest intelectuals of our times.

Xenakis is God.
Also this video is interestingly where I first discovered Paul Joseph, quite unique and profoundly awesome that he's a Xenakis fan :)
Still love this lecture, later I realised it was my introduction to Peter Joseph, very interesting man! (still the world's largest Xenakis fanboy)
