- The first trailer for TRANSFORMERS ONE debuted like no movie trailer ever has: In Space!
This long-awaited origin story of how the most iconic characters in the TRANSFORMERS universe, Orion Pax and D-16, went from brothers-in-arms to become sworn enemies, Optimus Prime and Megatron, premiered its trailer on Thursday, April 18th. The launch kicked off with a live-streamed countdown showing the journey into space.
After one hour, the craft reached its peak at 125,000 feet above the Earth, revealing the trailer with a custom introduction video from our stars: Chris Hemsworth and Brian Tyree Henry.
TRANSFORMERS ONE is the untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies, but once were friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever. In the first-ever fully CG-animated Transformers movie, TRANSFORMERS ONE features a star-studded voice cast, including Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi with Laurence Fishburne and Jon Hamm.

Fred Tatasciore will always be the KING of voicing Megatron. His line delivery in the War for Cybertron games is fantatsic.

They really missed out on not hiring Fred Tatasciore to voice Megatron. He is electric in that role. Check out the War for Cybetron games

I am a Transformers fan living in Japan. I especially love the original. This time, the broadcast started at 10pm Japan time. It is more popular overseas, but I wonder if the reason for broadcasting on a weekday was related to the weather. I was very interested in the machine that could withstand the ascent to the edge of space. I think the show would have been better if there had been some kind of message between the trailers. I almost got dizzy during the scene where it turned around several times. I hope Japan will promote Transformers, which is not very popular. As for the dubbing, the recent Transformers are terrible. I think it would be strange for people in America who understand Japanese to watch it. The English version has a cool song. The story is serious. On the other hand, the Japanese version is silly. I couldn't stand it and gave up watching it. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. It seems that Megatron has not yet been named in the movie version. He was originally a miner. I'm looking forward to seeing what the story will be. Sorry for the long message.
