Tipping is an antiquated 20th century practice that we all need to move on from. If you travel to countries without customary tipping you'll see that its not necessary for good service. That excuse is bs, today its just been accepted in Canada that we help the owners pay for their employees wages without question
Restaurant owners shouldn’t expect customers to pay for their staff.
That’s smart. I know many people who simply don’t go to restaurants anymore because the combination of price and tip is just too high. My wife and I are among them. Nobody will think we’re stingy if we’re not there at all.
tipping is not mandatory, its supposed to be complementary, so if you demand me to be nice, i just might not be.
Tipping has gone out of control in Toronto! Even restaurants / cafes that you just get your food and leave have 18% tip set up on their machines!!!! Why? You didn’t serve me. It’s insane
I've been there, great place, and the service has always been amazing
If everyone stops tipping, the 1 person that decides to tip will get better service
Does anybody else find it odd that now 9 years later that Justin Trudeau cares about the "starving" children in our schools?
We need tipping it makes my lifestyle better and more important than the fact of how i life better and how to get my life back
