Remember, this is the guy who ran for premiere on "A Buck A Beer". Booze worked for him last time....
When I was a young girl we only used paper bags. When the tree huggers cried, we switched to plastic. Plastic bags were not one use. I used them to carry items, and to sort things, to protect things from dust, and finally as garbage bags. Now I buy costly plastic garbage bags that are truly one use only, and my house is full of useless cloth bags from Walmart home delivery. If we bring back paper bags, the "Save The Trees" people will rise again. Also, Walmart and others need a recycle program for their cheap cloth bags, for house bound people who shop on line.
Glad he’s worried about the big issues
Like the fellas who drink booze out the paper bags. Discretion is key when getting after it!
If you can afford to buy 6 bottles of booze, you can afford to buy a bag.
This is an urgent issue, is it? Nothing more important to worry about??

It's disingenuous at best and it makes me wonder which of Dougie's friends owns the company printing and/or producing those bags.

Sid thinks people are TELLING him to peel back on using reusable bags? You can tell he is a liberal. He needs someone to tell him what he should or should not do. It's called freedom of choice sid. I use reusable all the time, but if someone wants or needs to use paper, well then go for it. Much like the other guy, I don't walk around with reusables stuffed in my pocket. I often make unplanned stops, whether it be lcbo or grocery. Sure would be nice not to be nickle and dimed for a change.

Dougie sticking his nose into a non-issue when there are bigger issues to work on. Hey Dougie, fix health care, education, and housing issues before worrying if LCBO customers have bags to carry their alcohol. Also, smarten up and leave the Science Center where it is, cancel the spa and gigantic underground parking garage at Ontario Place, put rent control back on all rental properties, and cancel the unnecessary Highway 413 that will destroy valuable farm land and wildlife habitat.
