I've loved these cars ever since one of them was absolutely toying with me on the Interstate in my friends 87 LX 5.0
With the reliability issues of these when you start building them, I've always wanted to get one and K20 swap it. But I don't have the skills myself. So I'd have to pay someone to do it and I can barely afford the car right now. Let alone paying for the swap. Lol
Thanks for watching. The 4g63 engine is a beast. You just need to do necessary maintenance to keep them going. Drivetrain is what you need to worry about once you start laying down some big power. K20 swap would definitely be unique. K20s can also make some power.
Dude I've been stuck on this! Same side! Been using a ball joint fork hammer torches, a 20 lb. Dumbell...I still haven't gotten it 🤦♂️

Any update on the coilovers? Thinking of getting a set myself.
They have been good so far. I haven't been to track yet with them. Will be going within the next few weeks. But driving around town and highway they seem great. I will keep you posted on how they are launching at track etc..

Hopefully, your rear doesn't give you as many problems as mine did.🤣. It's been a mission trying to get this car to the track . Just finished my garage renovation, which was exciting but stressful at the same time. My goal is to get some runs within this next month with this suspension so i can get it dialed in. Just curious why no penatrating oil was used to remove the rear strut?
I used PB blaster but didn't have a camera running . Nothing was working 😂. Thanks for watching 🙏🏿

@@meaningfulgarage4025 they ride fairly nice, they are compliant but still a little on the stiff side, I have mine on full soft and took some preload out of the spring.
