nothing can compete with the sound of an Aprilia V4...

The thing most people forget when comparing the two is the price difference. Ducati is about £23k in UK and Tuono around £17k, thats a huge difference. I rode them both and bought the Tuono and havn't looked back, love it!

    • @captain_midlife

Honestly if they were the same price I'd still buy the Tuono

@@Championedd Anyone looking at these bikes wont want a sportbike. I sold my 1299 to buy a Tuono and is so much more comortable for daily use with similar performance without having to ring its neck to go fast. Brilliant bike!

I just bought the Steetfighter V4s. The Touno is a great bike, but showing its age; it is due for a total redesign now, and buying a new one at this stage might not be such a good idea. It looks too much like an old race replica for me.

Thanks for making this video, I found it very informative. I just traded my much loved MT-10SP (2021) on a Aprilia Tuono V4 Factory (same year). I had been watching the market for a while and pounced on one when a good deal came up recently as it only cost me $6000 to change which I thought was fair. My initial impressions of the Tuono are that it is a superb motorcycle and I have no regrets buying it, I have read every review and watched every UA-cam video I could lay my hands on before I bought it. I am no Valentino Rossi but enjoy a spirited ride, I think 175hp is more than enough, and as you say the Streetfighter makes its power up in the rev range. Arguably they are both superb bikes and I feel lucky to be riding bikes in this era.

Ducati all the way. (I love my V2). Its just Ducati. All the negatives just don't matter because Ducati. And how is the Tuono even classed as naked ? Its the most fully clothed Naked ever. Saying that both amazing bikes. Love them both. Great video thank you.

I traded in my 2018 MT 10 SP for a 2022 Tuono Factory after testing it.
I also had the opportunity to ride a Streetfighter V4S but I actually feel the connection between your wrist and the rear tire very filtered by the electronics. (In fact the dealer told me that all of the first 4 gears has limited power)
The Ducati it's a fantastic bike but for its price (the V4S here in Italy starts from 25.000 euros) you can get something way more usable for normal roads and save up some money. 200+ hp are becoming a "meta" for everyone but actually they are quite useless on normal riding conditions.
The Tuono is a little more "difficult" to ride the first times than the MT10 and also the Streetfighter, but once you get used to it becomes a real weapon.
My Ape has a Brembo RCS17 Corsa Corta master cylinder and a Stage 3 kit from GabroRacing wich include modified airbox, sprint filter air filter, velocity stack and Race ecu map.
I still have the stock exhaust on but with the valve always open (here in Italy the police are getting so annoying with loud exhausts)
I have absolutely no regrets about Aprilia and couldn't be happier with my choice.

@@Chris-Brauch I recently mounted the akrapovic slip on exhaust and got it dynoed, it pulls 173 at rear wheel so around 190 at crank. Btw the Tuono has more mid rpm power and torque compared to the SF.
