The Plad 450 looks like it will be one of my new favorites. I'm all about aesthetics.

Plad is probably gonna be my new favorite truck! Looks so damn good, and also perfoms!
However, i have to ignore the scout, i don't know who decides which scout gets into the game, but so many small scouts are just forgettable.
I want some iconic offroaders, like a Hummer H1, G-Class, Toyota Landrover, Dodge RAM and stuff like this.... :|
yeah... there're many iconic 4x4 which are still absent from game, I mean if we have to have scouts... why not something that's famous
I feel like they try to put stuff in the game that's a little bit older design style (except some mods like WS 57x). Hummer H1 would be good but modern GClass would feel out of place. An older gen Toyota Landcruiser and Dodge Ram wouldn't be bad either.

If we got a legit HMMWV that would be my main scout from here on out.

Maybe on a Germany or Poland map you could find it?
Germany could be muddy and all about delivering beer to beer halls.
Poland could be snowy/muddy and be about logging and industry.
I simply love the big red beasts.
It's nice to see they are adding something rather balanced instead of another crazy monster truck. I'd say stability of Plad is its party trick but doesn't make it default "go to"
Both of these seem like they'll be pretty useful. The AAC 58DW seems like it'll be a pretty decent scout based on what people are saying, and the PLAD 450 will probably be one of my go-to workhorses. Both have always on diff locks, and both have switchable AWD too, and custom gearboxes are always nice.

No not really, just P16/P512 tires, W990 Tires, and Tataran tires, but those are all exclusive

It's only drawback is that it's articulated, and a little tippy.
But other than that, the FEMM is literally the best truck in the game when it comes to hard terrain.

I don't get how the derry special couldn't do the climb, it's lighter and has a better engine than the mastodon.
Yes, it's the mystery of derry... diff lock doesn't work properly it seems... something is weird with that truck
Mastodon has custom tires, which apparently make it climb better.
Wheel weight is the key here. Derry uses 200KG per wheel and Mastodon 600KG per wheel. Higher wheelweight results in higher force power.

Those are basically ford replacement for some Eastern European regions because of licencing issues....so not available for me.

one of the best specially for pulling trailers... otherwise Tuz 166 is pretty good as well... Khan Marshall is also good.

No... that's considered extreme terrain.

From what I heard, we'll get one more scout...what a waste of resources.
@@SD1ONE I'm not against adding more scouts because we still need some good scouts. It's been 4 years and still the best scouts haven't changed, LoadStar, F750, YAR etc. We need new scouts that can compete.
The thing is the scouts which people describe as best are more closer to trucks than our average 4x4s...F-750 even has truck like trailers...Yar is taller than even some trucks while Tatarin is heavier than most trucks...In my mind the definition of scout is light small 4x4 but those vehicles don't do good in game because terrain is designed for big trucks, Also In general, the role of scouts is minimal in SR. I don't think we need more vehicles in game...just improve the existing vehicles but that won't sell the DLCs
@@SD1ONE I think there can be something in between though. There's a lot of trucks between the Chevy CK1500 and Ford F750 in terms of size. Maybe an F350 for example. Or they need to release a new Scout oriented map, like the first map of Kola but a lot easier so small scouts can be used.
that's the thing... scouts don't have a big role in game, even if they make a easy enough map which they did in year 3 btw but they still won't make scouts role any bigger than just scouting...I guess it's time for a new runner game which focus less on selling DLCs but more on core gameplay but In this time and age that would be unlikely.
Tho it is a good game. But it doesn't compare to mudrunner besides the graphics.

So if a truck beats the Mastodon in a test, you keep changing the test conditions again and again until it doesn't... (just kidding(or am I))
Well, A lot of trucks can beat mastodon in easy tests. The strenght of zikz 8x8 trucks lies is harsh terrains, They're slow in general but they don't feel slow in extreme terrains that is their speciality.

Bro they made the plad, literally designed for towing hundreds of tons, not be able to tow it's own weight up a hill in high gear with some logs??????????????????????????????? ......................
I don't think such heavy trucks would climb such hills in real life as well...sure they're made to tow hundreds of tons but that only happen on road or in fairly plain area.

The weird multi slot hitch thing on the plad freaks me out. Idk what it is but i do not like lookin at it.
They mix match 2 models of Faun...this multihitch setup & that locomotive like tun tun sound is from different truck which looks like road locomotive honestly.
