This is tasty stuff, Man, I wanna thankyou for a fill I learnt from you a year ago called the sneaky Herta fill, Ive been sneaking into my playing with different bands and sessions of late, basically plays itself now! Something about the displacement of accents and the kick positions are killer, Cheers.
Adam you have done it again. Very cool fill. Your creativity is boundless. Keep up the great work. Bill.
Hope you're feeling much better Adam.
Very cool fill. Kind of makes my brain think there's a couple of skips when there's not. Cheers. 🍻✌️
Thanks Adam you're the reason my 6 stroke pattern got better...I'm still an intermediate drummer but I'll get there..great fill here...always a fan of how you accent your notes
Love ❤ it Adam mate hope your all good 👍

I can get this fill at slower tempos, but when he plays it at 120, my brain keeps wanting to hear it one 1/16th note off from what it is, with the first L stroke on the 1 and the accents sounding like "a-1 & 2, a-3 & 4" rather than "1-e a e, 3-e a e. Then the darn crash keeps sounding like it is on the "a" of 4 when I know it isn't supposed to be there. Anyone else have this problem?
Haha that’s *exactly* why I titled the video that way. It’s a weird brain teaser for sure.
The best way to practice this is to trust the math, and then wait for your ears to catch up. It will feel wrong every time, until all of a sudden, it feels right. Took me 30 minutes of repetition before I could film the lesson, and I wrote the damn thing. Lol

3:13 What hand technique is that on LL?
