I watched this video 4 years ago just to watch it and now i am watching it because i am having issues with my turn signals. It turned out to be the flasher and i also got mine from O'Reilly but mine was a direct plug and play. It does not hyperflash . Paid about $24. Thanks for having posted your video. It was a great guide.
Yes. Thanks to you. I did replace flasher. Oreillys NOVITA brand $25. Being mechanically challenged. It took me about 40 minutes. Took 3 Screwdrivers to get panel on & off. Bloodied back of my left hand THANKS AGAIN
I noticed that the front blinkers on your truck are actually the front side marker lights. The front blinkers should be in the bumper. At least they are on my 1987 Toyota pick up.
Correct 👍 someone had changed the position and wiring in the front end of the truck causing it to blink in the corner marker lights instead of the bumper

Thanks for posting! Btw, notice you have the sr5 gauge cluster. Did the truck come with it or did you do the swap?
alfredobrown not a problem :-) and yeah it had been swapped that way when I bought the truck
Thanks for reply. I have not had chance. To look again. I will let u know if I fix it
Great thanks for the tips! I'm upgrading to LEDs on my AW11 MR2 so need to switch the flasher out for a slower one.

Behind the panel by your left foot while you're sitting in the truck

I noticed that too after I sold the truck and bought a different one LOL kind of interesting not sure who changed that
So did the new flasher not fit into the old plug? And that's why you needed to make the cables? Just trying to learn and thanks for the video.
andreboy1 because there were no cables, the original flasher module plugged directly into the prongs he has the cables routed from
Usually a fast blinker with new relays and bulbs means that one of the bulbs is the wrong type.

Was the truck kept in the Salt Lake?
