As a player of both games I've noticed that alot of recent motorfest rewards and cars have been from The Crew 2. It's also not good for players like me beacuse im competing in rewards i already own from TC2. Hope this made sense.
Same here everytime i think of playin TCM ..i always say is it worth my time no special or new rewards is fuccin lame ..recycles shit is wack with all the vanity items they released n TC2..there shouldnt be repeats ever week

This is what I was literally complaining about since closed testing! I thought the community was gonna tear this apart....boy was I genuinely surprised! Every big name was praising this absolute object of mediocrity!
Same exact everything. Oh they added more parts to certain cars and monster truck class! Annnnd audio signatures! That's it besides the carlist which is the best thing about this game!
Everyone keeps talking about the handling in TC2 vs. TCM....Thing is is it's the exact same....but yes it was the "physics" that had changed! Better physics in TCM... Handling is exactly the same even same pro settings...car responds the same way as TC2 as far as steering is concerned! Being able to do a barrel roll vs not even able to flip the car is the huge improvement in physics! The handling has nothing to do with the current feel...and it's getting annoying people don't know the difference...allowing Ivory Tower to get away with this over and over and over....
The handling stills needs improvement....if it wasn't for Nitrous the A.I racers wouldn't stand a chance at all! Exactly like TC2. They are still on rails just like in TC2...but got nitrous like a cop in Driver😂😂!

Nothing was "diligently" changed or well thought out at all! Most of the playlists are TC2 motorflixxx ideas and the Story mode! This is nothing but Project Orlando the expansion to TC2 that became it's own game and it really shows...even the dam size of the map as this was the exact size of the expansion! Dudes gonna act like they put much thought into this.😂😂😂😂 They made this game in 2 yrs flat! I couldn't believe that it was released on time! I was so calling a delay! But nooo and that's because they changed nada...smh

They should add the option to remove cars that you don’t want on your garage
They should have found a more reasonable way to honor their Crew 2 patrons. I respect that they wanted to do that, but for comparison purposes... as a huge NFS Heat fan, I certainly did not expect the devs to exclude new players from accomplishing the same things I could in NFS Unbound; simply because I played Heat. You'd think they'd aim to expand their player base, not keep it contained or sort of gate keep. It's a very odd choice.

imo i think that the cars that are buyable in TC2 should be buyable in TCM.
On the other hand we have some exclusive summit vehicles that are buyble in TCM that devalues the car rarity.
They need to balance better the content drops between the two games and motorfest should be the priority.

i think it is already happening ... with the hoonigan update many TC2 exclusives became purchasable (or showing a message of purchasable in XX days) after they were exclusives only ... i think they are being gradually added to MF

I hate the 10 versions of the same car I'll never use. It could be done better for example to buy more cars and then buy a drag spec,drift spec,rally spec etc. I dont really get why they add new cars 1st to the crew 2 then later in motorfest but Im happy that theyre still updating TC2,if only they fixed the handling. Another thing I hate is that most brands are forgotten. For example there are like 7 Audis,Mercs,BMWs while there are 40. Dodges,Chevys,Fords. But those 40ish realisticly are 20 models and 20 variations on the same cars. If only they added more VWs,Audis,Cadillacs,BMWs,Mercs and others that have like 5models
So 300+ cars isn't enough for you. Or 400+. Or even 500+. Let me break it to you: it's 600+ possible cars, not guaranteed cars.
I like that they’re adding new cars to the older franchise, rather than completely dropping it.
What’s more, we do have 600+ cars, some are simply locked because they’re exclusive to veterans from TC2 and past summits.. this rewards older players and gives the community something to look forward to in future when those cars are made available in TCM.
Sorry if this makes some people butt hurt, but from a business point of view, this is excellent marketing to keep the community playing both games.
However, the process of bringing vehicles and vanity’s over could be done faster.
They are forcing people to buy 2 games in order to complete the newest one of them. If they ever said that while selling the game no one would have bought it.

This is the thing that frustrates me the most. They took The Crew 2 off PS Plus Extra as well and it hasn’t been on sale since, so essentially they want you to spend £/$40 on a 6 year old game and are advertising it every time you go on TCM. It’s rank.
The crew 2 is on ps plus, you just need to get the one with ubisoft+ classics for 15$ a month

*I especially have a huge problem with this, and I absolutely hate it.* The Crew Motorfest saying that the game has 600 vehicles but then not letting you buy them is a huge turn-off for me. I hate it when games have "you can't get this anymore" content after I paid for it and all those content is stored on the disc. Exclusive content doesn't make games great.
The most annoying thing is for people who played The Crew and didn't unlock everything wanting to go over to Motorfest exclusively having to go back to The Crew 2 to grind for stuff to import over the Motorfest.
Theyre strategy seems to be working but the really frustrating thing is that they are drip feeding the cars in crew 2. When i saw crew 2 exclusive i assumed i could buy them in crew 2 but nope at least not every one off them for a while.
No matter what anyone says about both games, I’ll still love them both. I played the crew 1 and I loved that game SO much and I got it when it was in its mid. Literally when they gave out cars by finding crates.
I fell in love with it, but didn’t have money for the paid expansions, so I stopped playing. They then introduced The Crew 2 and offered me a closed alpha and beta invitation and I played both alpha and beta and enjoyed the absolute heck out of it. I then played The Crew 2 alongside GTA V as my main racing game for all its time and then thought it should be smoother and they dropped 60fps on it.
Later, they introduced a new title they were working on and released some footage of the new mechanics and without revealing the name of the game.
Now, we have The Crew Motorfest which continues the story to Hawaii and friends I made on The Crew 2 dislike Motorfest because of its “Forza” like gameplay. It’s actually amazing if you have next gen.
All to say, this game is extremely enjoyable and fun to continues to grow with every single new update to the game. They give us SO much feedback and consideration when making updates. They listen to us.

I came to Motorfest directly. The "exclusive to Crew 2" cars thing really wound me up; as you say, it's not just the looks of some of these cars, they drive better. I finally snapped yesterday and bought the Crew 2 - now I'm grinding on an old game to get the credits and rewards for stuff I'll use on the game I actually want to play. Maybe this was the intention all along - at this point they've got my money, so what do they care? I find Crew 2 is a bit overwhelming in its scale and the different mechanics at the moment, so tips and advice to "newbies" to this old game would be cool :)
I literally have every single car except the one agp mark X explorers edition only because it was only available to people who live in certain European countries. I do feel a sense of reward for having cars that others don't, but at the same time, even though I've earned those cars by playing every tc2 summit it does feel a little unfair i have them and others cant get them in motorfest.I 100% agree, if it's in the game you should be able to either buy or earn it through challenges. But the same can be said about all the motorfest past summits where you earn cars. If someone gets motorfest now, they've already missed out on a couple of summit exclusive cars. It's a big mess and idk how to feel about it lol

idk why, for me it's just the crew 2 content. they just added that car to motorfest so the crew 2 player can import the car and im happy for that. they just still care for the older game.
It really doesn’t bother me that I have to keep playing crew 2, they have 2 cars every month and I would rather do the summits on crew 2 where I get cars over stupid vanities.
the fact that the next summit has a tc2 "exclusive" car as the reward makes me think they will do the same for most if not all of the other "exclusive" cars... hopefully
I agree, Crew 2 exclusives must be available to Motorfest-only players, even if it's at a later date or at a higher price. I have picked up TC2 in the last month before Motorfest came out to build a bit of a garage for the new game but I despise it's handling, so I only play Motorfest now and I would love not to be sneakily told by the game that I need to play a game I dislike to get the better things it has to offer.
i still don't care about this thing and when i saw "The Crew 2 exclusive" on certain cars i was just like: "whatever", i'd rather wait for them than purchase a shitty TC2
I must say that I am quite disappointed that half the cars I cannot buy in the Crew Motorfest. In fact some of them look very interesting. In FH5 you can collect all the cars. The fact I can't get all the cars in the shop spoils the game for me, hopefully Ubisoft will correct this.
Forza is not that different because you need dlc only cars to complete the collection (dlc that you have to buy even if you own the premium 100 euros edition of the game).
@@Kappaclaus46 I have the vast majority of the cars in FH5, I have not driven the vast majority of them. My point is, is that because the cars in Motorfest come from the Crew 2 we cannot buy the ones we want .
I know what they're doing. The Crew 2 have 2 types of Exclusive cars. Summit Rewards and Motorpass Cars. If you not longer will keep something like Exclusive you should not keep but they want to do that with the Summit cars. What happens with Motorpass cars is that they First need to be Buyable on the main game (The Crew 2) so when you get the chance to buy it on that game during a update the next Update you will get the chance to buy it on the other game (Motorfest).
Is this an inconvenience? Yes but it will end on season 5.
I've not played a driving game since NFS Most wanted, until TCM. I Absolutely love this game, I'm hooked and haven't played anything else for at least a month (well I had 1 match on MW3). I would like more online races to do though. Sometimes I don't want to drive certain tiers at certain times, so just cruise around for 30 mins looking for people to drive around with, until the next grand race starts. Oh the summits. They are really fun, except for the last one that just ended

The flip side of this issue is that older architecture players (like me) are at a disadvantage collecting the MOTORFEST SUMMIT cars. I paid $120 for the opportunity to COLLECT EXCLUSIVE MOTORFEST CARS but the reality is that we run at (or below) 30 FPS and RARELY can get PLATINUM (I managed it once). In 6 years of playing TC2 I missed out on PLATINUM VEHICLES only 4 times but cannot get them in MOTORFEST. For right now, those with faster systems have cars I CAN'T GET and (because of grinding TC2 summits for 6 years) I have TC2 CARS THEY CAN'T GET. In my book we're EVEN. It is UNLIKELY that the UBISOFT will be able to satisfy ALL of us unless they revert to the system in the ORIGINAL CREW GAME where ALL SUMMIT CARS were only EARLY ACCESS (eventually being offered for sale in the dealerships). If they do that (and make ALL THE OLD ONES AVAILABLE to ALL) I think we will ALL be HAPPY COLLECTORS.😊
I understand what he's saying but at the same time I understand it from Ivory Towers point, those players that went out and purchased the crew 2 and grinded out for everything would be insulted if new players didn't have to go through all those same hours of grinding and end up with the same amount of cars. It's a benefit to the super loyal players that have been grinding since the release of the crew 2.

Not really when it is a different game. I am not happy about having to reload TC2 just to pick up and play for a bunch of content that I should be able to "grind" out in the new title. This is backwards thoughts.
To be fair this is something future seasons and summits can easily fix and I'm pretty sure that is the plan. Though that too is a double-edged sword because it means complaints there's nothing new from those that already have them. There could also be expired licenses with some of these vehicles, meaning they literally can't just bring them into the new game (except as an import) because licensing is one of the many reasons why we can't have nice things (or at the very least all car brands in all games).
Although i love The Crew games, i do not like the exclusives from TC2, they force you to invest in an almost dead game, although i see that they are slowly making some of them buyable in Motorfest with bucks, hope they continue doing this for the people to test all the cars
Not only an almost dead game, but a game that is just flat out inferior to Motorfest in every aspect except the amount of content, which Motorfest will eventually also surpass

That map will be a problem for motorfest. They will have to make up a story to add Japan or something for them to keep it going longer. But seeing the way they're operating now they will probably make us buy a whole new game in a year and a half
I am only missing like 60 cars from summits from the crew 2 as I only played one year before motor fest came out. We should be able to get those from the summits
I think the Gordon Murray cars will be availabe to buy in motorfest in those 2 and ahalf months.
There are a lot of TC2 Summit Cars I don't have because I didn't get platinum in that weeks Summit.The same goes for Motorpass Cars

Not happy having to re-install a game just to grab some of the exclusives for a new game. That is ass backwards. New game should have all the content even if you have to re-grind for it all. This is the stupidest move ever made and hope it does not lead to other developers doing this as well.

Anyone else bother by how it says 600+ cars but it realy only has like 200. Almost evey car has 2 or more different style types (drift,drag,etc). Thats not 600 cars. Forza has 600 cars and u build ur car to drift or drag.
I agree, and the fact that you can't customize any of the edition vehicles at all is another dumb thing that makes it so there's no point in having the exclusive versions, especially when we have a million different skyline gtr r34 but no r33 or r32, even though they showed the r33 in the made in Japan playlist.
Crew 2 still has better summits. Most weeks I do the crew 2 summits and not motorfest cause I don't care about XP, some random car, ONE perf part (lol) and some ugly underglow vanity.
I really hope this is just limited time, as I played both 2 and Motorfest and I like the gameplay and world of Motorfest more.
I bought tc2 for $12 on psn some yeard back and nevered played it because nfs heat was the game at the time now im in motofest with 265 hrs clocked in and im back in tc2 grinding new york run for money to buy the exclusive cars to get in motofest just got the camaro rift edition in tc2 summit
Also if you look at some of the crew 2 cars have countdowns till you can purchase it. I think you can but everything eventually but it's gonna be a whole new crew game before then
The image and issue you address in your video is only, in my honest opinion, half true.
While yes, there are a ton of cars that aren't able to be bought since they're either summit cars or motorpass cars from the crew 2. This is somewhat understandable since IVT wants to give the returning players who have put in alot of hours, like myself, in The crew 2 to have some sort of "reward" as opposed to people just entering motorfest. But where i disagree with you is that IVT is actively making previous motorpass cars available to be bought in motorfest, like they are doing in the crew 2. this is done progessively and not done immediately to probably implement some sort on longevity to the game. Furthermore, they are putting previous summit cars as rewards for the main stage and for some reason also already in the summit. While it will take some time before all motorpass cars are available to be bought in motorfest, they are making them available nonetheless.
(and also, the new GMA t50 and t50s are going to available to be bought just like the 2 nobles are)

The issue is that the cars are “exclusive” and you either have to have had played the previous game to get them, or just wait for them to be made available to everyone
Every car in the shop should’ve been available at the start, it’s not increasing longevity at all since more than 50% of TC:M playerbase probably already has the cars, so it’s just content blocking players new to the series for no reason
Stuff like the Hoonigan update is a longevity thing, as it adds new content that wasn’t already available in the game
@@dokutah7374 If they'd made it available to everyone immediately it kinda would've been a slap in the face to everyone who has put in alot of time playing the previous game. I don't see the problem in waiting since the "exclusive" motorpass cars ARE coming back. This was a way for IVT to satisfy both new and old players.
As for my mention to longevity, it's almost common knowledge by now that the hoonigan and subsequent future updates (for now) aren't sufficient to keep players attention as for actual new content as in Playlist and features this is just a way for IVT to add more time to the game so people have the incentive to come back and get the car they have waited for.
Once all pass cars are available and updates to the crew 2 have stopped this issue will be resolved and no one will remember this anyway.

Transferring cars is fine and all, having time locked cars is even ok, but they should be locked for everyone, the game has hundreds of other cars you can bring over for free if you already had them unlocked, if the excuse we’re using is extra longevity that’d make more sense, as then everyone would have more incentive to play the game longer, as it is now it ain’t doing that since a good majority of the playerbase already has those cars
There are hundreds of ways they can increase playability by adding new modes and new routes and tracks, but they’re only reusing every other asset that’s already in the game and calling it content besides every major content update
The worst part is they separate the cars into 3 different locks, Crew 2 exclusive, not bought yet, and the car pass and the C2E and car pass might as well be the same thing
Tho as you also said, this will all probably be a mute point once all their attention is focused on this game
@@dokutah7374 I understand your frustation fully since i agree whole heartedly with your points about modes and routes. They should put in more effort in placing longevity in the game in a natural way instead of putting it on motorpass cars. but as it stands now, this is the approach they are taking. I'm fortunate enough to have put enough time in both games now that there is nothing stopping me from getting all the cars i missed, but i also understand your opinion because it can feel like a way of blocking people from having the cars they want.
All there is to do now is just to wait until the motorpass cars are released and the summit cars are rerun.

Some of TC2s Summit and Motorfest cars are making it purchaseable in Motorfest... but they seems to be doing it quite gradually like every couple of months. Well, it is a way for now but I think it would be cool if they make it so that you have to work to get them.
I got a cool idea. How about a *Black Market Shop* in The Crew Motorfest.
The Black Market is a shop that can be found in the Shop Menu and will contain *4 TC2 Summit cars per month* with a *max of 12 per Season* . However, in-order to purchase the car you want... you have to *complete 4 Chapters* worth of challenges, with a max of 3 per chapter. The car will be locked from purchasing until you complete these 4 Chapters. The chapters are tied to themes about the car, its Summit that it debuted in, and its class and the challenges will be themed around it too with some added grinding elements. Once they're all completed for the car, it'll be unlocked with its price... ready for you to purchase it. Cars from the Black Market will have a _40% discount_ on both the Bucks and Crew Credits options. You gotta be quick because the Black Market gets resetted each Season. Don't worry if you are unable to get it on time, they'll be added to the regular shop but at full price with no discount.
Adding in a Black Market makes it so that both old and new players can pick up cars that were formally exclusive with the added step and benefit of getting the cars you want with less Bucks or Crew Credits to purchase, making them still have the sense of urgency that you would normally get for them in their original Summits. The good thing is that it also gives players something to do if they're getting bored of doing Grand Races or Motorfest Summits but still want to grind to get a vehicle. The great benefit is that once the 88 TC2 Summit Cars are all in Motorfest, the Black Market can work with Motorfest Summit Cars.

I bought the crew 2 for this reason but I can’t even use it as I can’t find a way to remap the control buttons as I’m disabled so I just bought the cars that I want. I’m hoping to befriend a really good driver in the comments here because if I give you my login information could you get me some Summit Cars for me that I want? I was completely new to this franchise when I bought motorfest. I've been playing the shit out of it since then (300h+) and this whole tc2 exclusive thing baffles me so much. I get that they wanna show appreciation to old players who have supported the game for 6 years but what about the new players. They got nothing to show for. I don't think spending another 60$ is justified in this case. It's not even the money. I don't wanna start progressing through a 6 y/o game.

I understand the frustration of the game feeling like tc2 but just look at every game that’s getting released, MW3, The division 2 some time ago, and then some. They are all just basically dlc expansions or worse it’s what they are all gonna so from launch to get quick money then just update it. Then everyone returns to the new game after the updates and the cycle continues. That being said i enjoy Motorfest😁
Most cars that are exclusive to the crew 2 are exactly the same cars that you can buy, the exclusive ones just have some modifications on them but they are the same

i dont mind as long as the summit cars stay summit exclusive i dont really think the other cars should be exclusive
It doesn't matter if you even buy TC2 now. Most of those special edition cars were summit rewards and won't be available anymore. So it's just a trick to get you to buy the other game thinking you'll get the extra cars.
You can buy regular vehicles yeah, but the majority of people want to cool special editions. There are less than 15 you can get by just playing TC2.
Can someone please explain to me why my cars didn't transfer in December instead I have to buy them back again in motorfest..
Log in to TC2 then go back to Motorfest. It should work.

Paying and grinding doesn't go together
I have played tc2 on pc and getting platinum there is a sweatfest. You need to get into top 3000 for platinum. I have played this game for 3 years and couldn't get a single summit exclusive car.
imagine u grinded a summit in tc2 just for it to be added into motorfest as a buyable car. plus majoriy of people who have tcm already probably own tc2. Also I think the reason as to why they added the Gordon Murray cars in the tc2 is because they might wanna test it out see how it drives sounds ect, then improve upon it in tcm. This is just my own personal opinion.
This whole mindset of "ohh I grinded during this time and you didn't because you didn't have the game" is such a strange mindset. And no, the majority of people do not own TC2 already. Motorfest saw ALOT of new players into the Crew space.
All vehicles from TC2 should be available in some way, whether through buying or different challenges.
Motorpass cars came back to buy in tc2 so i don't get this like if you got tc2 go buy it and transfer thats it
and now TC2 summits will be harder since you brought peoples attention to this lol. But in all seriousness they add alot of the motorpass cars to the shop for bucks and the summits. You just gotta re run in TC2. But without a backwards import from motorfest into TC2 I still have no reason to buy cars in motorfest that are in both games.
I only been on motorfest now...but I have been on almost every racing game...since the 1990 years...everyone always wants previous cars from other games...I am a certified auto tech...there are so many vehicles in the race world...so many left out...and this game has the vibe to add more legendary builds that been in the car scene...we need honda in racing and hyper class...
No to be the asshole here, but I have always seen this as fair.
Given that I've dumped nearly five years into The Crew 2, I'm blessed that other players have to work for things that were never just readily available.
Now, I will say that The Crew Motorfest should've brought over a ton of cars in some fashion or form, but that's a them thing.
As well, I also don't like IVT introducing new cars into The Crew 2 first, but as it stands, that games fan base it's still very very large.
It's also a Games As A Service game. Which if you really look into there details, sometimes it's actually cheaper to get new brands into an older game than it is bringing them into a newer game.
I don't think this is something that should be complained about. Though I think the process of these cars coming over should be done faster.
yep but since the update the parts deleting and calibrating got worse. the timeout is ridiculous. i also didn‘t played the crew2 - so this means there are nearly 100 cars i cannot own?🤦🏽♂️
If you don’t play the crew, that’s correct 88 ish cars that are TC2 exclusives.

My impression of the game it's an incomplete game they never finished it it's like they needed Christmas money I came to the island with my crew to garage and I still have more cars than what's available in a new game that's fucked up they put so much hype on this
i think a simple solution to this is giving a free copy of tc2 when you buy tcm. But with time i think everything will became ownable even for motorfest only players for example next week summit car the divo magma edition is in fact a crew 2 only car.

in my eyes these cars are prestige objects and not everyone should own it.

I agree. Everyone shouldn’t be able to own them in The Crew 2. Motorfest is a new game sold at full price. If they want to keep the prestige of those cars then they should keep them out of the new game and create new exclusive variants for Motorfest players. By doing what they are doing now, they are using cars that aren’t obtainable as a selling point.

I played a lot of Crew 2, but recently got Horizon 5 instead of Motorfest and don't regret it.
Ubi ruin themselves with stupid decisions. Fomo seasons with unobtainable uniques, a lot of random grind and more focus on multiplayer, don't encourage to buy Motorfest. And closing of Crew 1 don't encourage to keep playing 2 that may be gone next year with all progress.
gma will not be import exclusive and even that ivt says import they will be avaivable for everyone and they can't be trust because now they say import for s10 content but in the import faq they still say from s10 onwords no content import anymore (effects only s10 content and boyond everything wich was ingame befor s10 will still be imported)
The article they wrote say available by collection import. (Maybe that changes in the future idk)

I dont agree with motorpass vehicles being exclusive to playing the crew 2 i understand the summit vehicles but motorpass cars if they are on the list they should be buyable

It's NOT MY or Ubisofts fault you don't have 600+ cuz you didn't play Crew 2....both game are awesome and it's nobody fault but you that didn't play it each week and get summit cars and vanities...tired of people thinking they are entitled to 600+ cars and 300+ vanities on a game that new only for a few months and people cry cuz even with money you can't catch up to us old school peeps who played the game for 5 years while everyone else wasted time on unbound and Forza...sorry but you lost me here...I earned my shit
I have every car and vanity...not anyone else's fault you are late to the game.... Motorfest and Crew 2 still rollover most other racing games out now and will continue to get better
The whole damn game was originally supposed to be a DLC to the Crew 2, THAT'S why it called Motorfest and NOT Crew 3, that's WHY cars and vanities can be imported for those of us who played the damn game through motorpasses and summits that were handed out for free while other games only lasted a couple months cuz all the good content here was handed out for free, all you had to do was play the game...
i wish i could refund the game at this point if they are gonna do this kind of stuff with marketing and making more content for the crew 2 over the new game

I have more of a big feeling that total we got right now is also regards what is standing in TC2 atm > Remember that some brands are in TC2 but not in TCM maybe this is sign it will come in the future? We will see tho
