Great review, I’m awaiting my renegade to arrive in the U.K. they’re delayed and I’m already moaning to evolve via comments on you tube. They’ve replied but I paid them over 11 weeks ago!

Jeff will deliver and they have historically made things right for me when unexpected outcomes occur, that they perhaps cannot fully control. Riding at 60 they should send you a goodie somehow haha

I'm glad Evolve has replacement parts generally available. My motor had an issue but it was unfortunately out of warranty.

Nice u changed mind about the bindings. Have fun with them. I totaly understand the bail thing.... And also had a bad bail on a gocart track with bindings and yes its not fun if ur locked in to the board. But for me with the power of the board and chanel trucks bindings are so much fun to carve accelerate and so on.... Enjoy
That deck is so top notch looking. Good point about the warranty. The phaze remote is for sure the nicest remote in esk8 and I wish other companies would start using nice remotes like Evolve did 2 years ago. No adjustability in trucks??
Great review guys! I had the same twitching on my Renegade Diablo and I also got a shipping label the next day! It always sucks to have to send back a new board but their support rocks. I get mine back next week!
Beautiful board and review spot on as always! I agree about being overpriced, but the quality and throttle response of Evolve is top notch. It’s not always just about specs! The ride and feel is most important to me 💪🏽
The blue evolve off road tyres definitely wear faster than the black but ive found the blues grip better on the street and also extra swag points, i recently found some cheap 8inch off road tyres from ali express will be giving them a try at my local woodland trails as soon as they arrive, great video btw!
I wish more people understood that you have to sacrifice one thing for another. Like carvability for stability. Or top speed vs board weight

I agree with that call if you already have the bamboo gtr. Or maybe an AT carbon diablo for the difference in lighting and trucks?

Simple and clean board, looks great. Not my first choice for tire color, looks like dirty cotton candy, but it doesn't matter, good design.

I am surprised by the amount of flex and carve it has; it really is the sneaky brother of the bamboo, isn't it? I'll be riding my bamboo street, looking off at the dirt detours, and thinking about this one from time to time! Exceptional review video ! it might be cool to see a simulated speedometer during some of your riding scenes, if i could toss an idea out for ya. Its hard to know how fast things are going when the camera work is hogging all the style 😅
Can we see battery ? More info please how hot do the motors get say after 10 miles ? Why do i think Trampa ???love to see evolve vs Trampa
Have you had any other problems with the motors ? I had to sejd my renergade back because i was getting twitches in my left motor , sent it back they replaced my battery and now i have got it back it has started doing it again. Do you think this is a common problem in these boards ive seen a few people say the same? Evolve are sending me back brand new motors and motor control and ill put it all together myself , i hope it works properly now
@@matthewbrereton6917 so iv had twitching on this and they fixed it with a new motor controller. i dont think they replaced the motors. but, recently my front light went out on the bottom of the enclosure. So they are fixing that now as well
@esk8unity oh tru? Few problems popping up , this is my third evolve board and had no problems until now , yer same issue with me , I'm replacing both motors and the motor controller , and they replaced the battery , so all the electrical components are going to be brand new, so if that doesn't fix it I'll be scratching my head haha

@@projectmayhem2330 definitely this. The velar deck has a very aggressive hump in the middle thats incredibly stiff. the channel trucks also feel like standard channel trucks which doesnt excite me much. Velar will have a little more range, but not more features. but i dont like a deck forcing me to spread my legs so much and both of my feet going down cuz of the downward angled hump on the velar.
Also got ghosted by meepo with the hurricane on its initial release😭 had a 2k paper weight for a year before just getting rid of it. Just got my renegade and unfortunately have some issues but other than that its the best board ive been on hands down

Just get an EUC at the price with way more performance and range while being more fun to ride. Such a ripoff, who would ever buy this.

i hear ya and respect that. But that doesnt devalue the product. thats just ur ergonomic preference. i prefer having a seperate lever for brake and throttle. just like cars, just like motorycles, just like mopeds, just like dirtbikes, just like everything else i ride & used to. Let me
