C’est vrai cela ressemble dans la forme au bong-Sao. Tellement important la simultanéité. Je me suis abonné à votre chaîne ! Est -ce réciproque? J’en serai heureux 🙏🏼☯️Merci
Hello! Bong Sao and Kao Sao might seem similar at first glance, but they have distinct purposes and applications in Wing Chun. - **Bong Sao** (Wing Arm): This technique is primarily used to deflect an incoming attack. The arm is positioned in a way that allows it to "bounce" or redirect the opponent's force. It's often used against high or straight punches, with the elbow pointed upward and slightly inward, providing a strong structure to deflect the strike. - **Kao Sao** (Covering Hand): This move is more about covering or protecting yourself from an attack, often used in closer range situations. The arm motion in Kao Sao is more circular, and it’s designed to both deflect and close the gap between you and your opponent. Kao Sao can also be used to control or trap the opponent’s arm after the initial deflection. So, while both techniques involve similar arm positions, Bong Sao is more of a deflection tool, while Kao Sao focuses on covering and controlling. If you have any more questions or want to go deeper into the specifics, feel free to ask!
@@SifuDavidCouppey Hi David, Great channel. Teachings r clear + precise. Love watching you performing in the intro ( film turned drawing!) Yeah, was commenting on this wing chin/JKD site on Instagram, about displaying Bruce Lee's books, brought back memories, as I used to practice Wing Chun in the 80's. Although JKD is good, with moves + that, Wing Chun is my baby. I've always believed Wing Chun to be the best fighting system in and out of the martial arts! I personally believe, forgive me if I'm wrong, but even Bruce Lee would've admitted this?
@@decathlonevent thank you for your comment 🙏🏻 I'm not going to speak for Bruce Lee but his JKD results from his expression of his Wing Chun. Each of us will have a different Wing Chun. The advantage we have today compared to the days of Bruce Lee is that we can practice several martial arts and interact more easily with different people and different arts. I am delighted to know that my videos help you in your practice 😄🙏🏻👊
